We stayed at Bairo Alto for 2 nights, the hotel is on a narrow street a short way from Luís de Camões Square which is a tourist place. There is a big underground car park (24 euro per 24 h). Our room had orientation into the street full of the little pub, so in the evening it was the centrum of social life :), so a little bit noisy to cca 2 am. The common bathroom was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, prepared by very nice personnel and at the common table. We were very satisfied.

The breakfast was good and they adapted it for me to be milk-free. They also let you leave the luggage before check in and after check out. Very comfortable and the personale were very laid-back and friendly. Also very central!!
Only one toilet for quiete a few rooms, so sometimes we had to wait to be able to shower in the morning.

The breakfast was really good and well prepared by the staff, I would highly recommend the hostel for people who look for a cozy and mostly quiet stay in Lisbons party neighborhood.

I really liked it. The place is clean and staff is super super friendly, highly recommend :) if I ever come visit Lisbon again I'm sure I'll pick this place again
It's a little hard to find for the first time even though it's in a popular spot of the city because it had no sign outside

Great location, clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff. If you just want a bed and happy to share clean facilities then this is perfect

The place was very clean and overall nice, breakfast super good.
It is very noisy there during the night. I could not sleep one bit because the downstairs bar/nightclub banged music all night. I do not recommend this place if you want to have a good night sleep.

Had a really great experience, the staff is lovely and so welcoming. The breakfast was amazing, especially the yoghurt with tons of toppings. Easy to access and very close to the metro/tram.

The Breakfast was amazing and made up for a lot of the things that weren't as good. There was yogurt with lots of toppings, freshly baked pancakes and eggs, and cereals.
Nice and clean bathrooms
I had the hallway room on the 1st floor.
Only one socket, away from the bed.
No internet inside the room.
Shower kept going from hot to ice cold and reverse.
Hard mattress.
I was woken up around midnight by a STRANGER ACCIDENTALLY COMING INTO MY LOCKED ROOM! Apparantly rooms in the hallway on different floors have the same key card (not okay!!).
Loud music from the bar across the street! Prepare to lie awake until 2am :(
Staff kitchen looked amazing, but guests had to use the other, much less inviting kitchen

i had such a good time. the whole staff was so friendly and nice all the time, they really try to make everyone feel at home. the beds were sooo comfortable, the bathrooms clean and the breakfast was soo delicious!!

The room was too tight, at least one bedside table would be nice to have. There were issues with hot water during almost all stay.

Really nice staff. Offered an enjoyable breakfast. Smooth check in. Very clean and fresh place, taken good care of. Bring earplugs and your night sleep is 👍🏼
Very high/thick pillows, would prefer also smaller ones avaliable. Wifi not suitable for work/video calls/streaming during my stay.
