Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. SunDestin Beach Resort is undergoing construction to the building. Please expect intermittent noise during construction hours of 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday. If construction needs to go past these hours or on the weekends information will be posted a week in advance in the lobby of SunDestin. Construction will be completed by June 2024. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The property was amazing the view was absolutely breathe taking. Overall we had a great time. The only thing I wish was different is I wish they had a recliner in the room instead of a stationary chair! Will definitely be booking this again

Great condo right on the beach, easy access to everything as it’s right in the heart of Destin. Check-in was easy and staff was very friendly. Beach service was wonderful and 100% recommend! We had an issue with the garbage disposal and within an hour of reporting the issue someone came to fix it. We will definitely be staying at Sun Destin again through VRBO/Vacasa again. We had a wonderful vacation!

We had a great stay, no issues at all. We came to Destin to get married and spent our honeymoon. Bed was super comfortable, I guess our only complaint would be that we had to wash the towels and washcloths and we couldn’t get the TV to work but not that big of a deal as the TV in the bedroom was fine. Would definitely stay here again as the views were beautiful!

I want to start with clarifying that this is not a bad rating for Sundestin Resort, overall we were very pleased with the overall resort and beach.
Upon arrival the place was fairly clean and in good shape. The room we stayed in had a beautiful view of the ocean and overall was what we were expecting.
The issue I have is with Vacasa and their customer service. The first night we tried to turn on the air conditioner and it did not work. We called to get someone in to look at the AC the next morning, and later that day they sent a Maintenence tech up. Unfortunately the compressor was shot and they were not able to get this repaired during our 5 day stay. I understand that mechanical failures happen, and while this was an inconvenience, things happen. However, as I noted above we never had AC for the duration of the visit. We were unable to sleep well due to the heat and this resulted in grumpy kids. Not once did we hear from Vacasa to see if they could do anything to help make our stay more comfortable. Upon returning home I reached out to Vacasa several times to discuss a possible partial refund or credit. Three different times I spoke with someone, and they promised that they would have the manager call, this never happened. They ended up crediting us $67 which I considered a slap in the face seeing as we paid $2000 for the room. If Vacasa would have made any decent attempt to make things right this review could have been completely different.

We enjoyed our stay. Updated clean condo. First impression when you walked in was not the best the front door could use updating but inside everything was updated as shown. It did appear they had a temporary fridge in place it was rusty on the outside but clean. Elevator was fast which was nice on 18th floor. Beautiful view. Air conditioning on patio was not a real issue since you could hear it only when the fan was on. Resort lobby was updated and nice. Busy Location right near everything Walmart etc.

The property was nice, however, two nights in a row we were locked out of our room for a total of 3 plus hours. They had to bring in off site maintenance people to replace batteries in the key reader both nights. We missed dinner reservations, we’re unable to even get clothes as we had come from the beach. We had to sit in the lobby for all of those hours in wet, swimming suits . We had no access to medication some of the people in our group needed. Not our money our rental car keys. Sundestin was very apologetic. However, when contacting who we are renting through, they said they were no issues and would not contact us back. Unfortunate, because we were ready to book it again for next year, but are afraid the same thing could possibly happen again.

Great view overlooking the beach. The pools and hot tub were great. The bar and restaurant inside the condo was awesome. Only bad thing about it was our key cards stopped working on day 2 and it took FOREVER to get someone to help us get a new set.

Was disappointed due to home was ready at10am and could not get in until 4pm and the smell was very bad took us all night and 2 trios to Walmart to get the smell out

Please do not stay here. Vacasa is a TERRIBLE management company. Upon arrival, I notified them that there were no medium size pots, only 2 steak knives, and ZERO pans. Yes, zero. The stainless steel fridge in the picture was also not there. Instead, there was a rusted white refrigerator with no ice maker. Yes...rusted inside and out. It was DISGUSTING. Vacasa said they would fix it the next day. I contacted them again the next day when the items were not given to me and I had to make my kids scrambled eggs in a little saucepan. Again, they said they'd fix it and they acknowledged that my work order was in the system from the day before but had no idea why it wasn't taken care of. Day 3, still nothing. I called again and finally got someone who cared who tracked down the GM of the local Vacasa office. She was nice, said it would get fixed the next day (that's day 4 for those of you who are counting). I told her I bought 2 pans because I needed to have the ability to cook for my kids. She said Vacasa would reimburse me and also credit me some money back for the inconvenience. I followed up the next day, guess what, crickets. Sad. Unbelievably bad customer service. Additionally, the bedroom window faces the hall that is right outside a door to the outdoor hallway as well as the elevators. It is noisy day and night. And Sundestin DOES NOT enforce the no party rule. We had drunk young adults running up and down the hallway, banging on doors, yelling and cussing from 2am until 4am

This home seems much smaller than the pictures made it seem, it was perfect for my husband and I, but I could NOT imagine having many more people than just the 2 of us. The cleanliness of the room were excellent; the balcony was a beautiful view, but it had the air unit on it, so it was EXTREMLY loud when wanting to hear the ocean. If the balcony is your entire reason to rent this condo, I would skip out on This unit.
The sight however was breathtaking, the seats were nice, the furniture all was excellent, and the bed was super comfy. It’s a corner unit so there weren’t any disturbances as far as other people on other condos.
The pools are nice, the gym is outdated severely. No dumbbells at all.
There is a full kitchen which was nice, but there is no broom of vacuum, so beware when it comes to sand 🤣!! We couldn’t clean sand off the floor due to this. The bathrooms are also connected strangely, but wasn’t an issue since it was just us.
The resort itself was clean, nice and friendly! Everyone seemed very friendly and helpful. No complains other than the air unit on the balcony, the lack of cleaning tools for sand, and the SEVERELY outdated gym with no dumbbells.

A few minor problems with this unit but it was also $50 a night cheaper than other units. The bed was comfortable and the balcony view out weighed the minor problems.

This was our first trip to Destin and we found the SunDestin to meet all of our needs and expectations. The condo itself is well-appointed and was spick and span when we arrived. The view from the balcony is STUNNING. It was lovely to have views of the sun rise and sunset. The beach is immaculately kept and very relaxing. The sand is like flour, the water is clear and warm, and all of the guests we encountered were friendly and kind. Chair rentals are available through the resort at what I felt was a fair price. Be sure to bring your sunblock - the sun is very hot! The pool and splash pad areas were clean, if a bit outdated. Truthfully,the entire resort could use a little face lift, but I'd say it's much more aesthetic than anything else. The interior of the condo is recently updated. Having a full and half bath within the condo was excellent for getting ready. The master bed was comfortable to sleep in. The window of the master looks into an interior hallway, which is odd, but closing the blinds completely provided privacy and a very dark room to sleep in at night. The items provided in the kitchen are very minimal, so you'll need to plan on stocking certain things yourself, including ice, coffee, sugar, etc. The eating and living spaces are functional and comfortable. Unfortunately, the screen door on this unit needs some repair, so we only would briefly open the slider door at night to get the ocean breeze.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely book this unit again in the future.

HIGHLY recommend going late aug/ sep. NO CROWDS!! The water was beautiful the whole trip. We even saw a manatee and lots of dolphins! Our room was spotless when we arrived and everything was so convenient! We will be back!

A few down falls were the leaking ice machine (I’ve seen several posts complaining about the same thing so I was prepared), no hair dryer, no hangers (I bought some and left them so maybe the next guest can use them) and our largest complaint was the safety lock on the door. The screws were falling out which caused difficulty opening and closing the door and you could also see where someone had tried to pry the door open with something. We contacted the front desk several times and never had luck with maintenance coming to fix it.
Overall the trip was incredible, and we cannot wait to return.

We loved watching the fishing boats go out every morning. The beach service was also great, pricey but worth it! There is no washer or dryer in the unit but it is directly across the hall ($2.50 to wash $2.50 to dry)
A few down falls were the leaking ice machine (I’ve seen several posts complaining about the same thing so I was prepared), no hair dryer, no hangers (I bought some and left them so maybe the next guest can use them) and our largest complaint was the safety lock on the door. The screws were falling out which caused difficulty opening and closing the door and you could also see where someone had tried to pry the door open with something. We contacted the front desk several times and never had luck with maintenance coming to fix it.

Mattresses was old needs to be replaced!!! didn’t sleep well the whole time I was there!! replace yours mattress.. Thanks lots of wear and tear on the mattress, Will not go back because of mattress was very disappointed in the bed. Needed a door stopper for the door doors too heavy. Better pans to cook with. The bed was the worst bed mattress I ever slept on please replace your mattress it’s old No blow dry

Beautiful view , comfortable bed , love walk-in shower. Dining table and chairs comfortable. couch and chair needs to be replaced. couch wore out very uncomfortable, chair has a lot of soiled stains. Overall though very nice unit.

The condo was great, well stocked with dishes and pots and pans, furniture and decorations were nice. The sundestin building is in need of some upgrades and modernization though. The building is in a great location close to restaurants and the grocery store. The beach front access is great.
