This second floor unit is features a casual Floridian décor with a gorgeous Gulf view from a private balcony. You will find the beach pastels soothing in the living area with island style wicker furnishings, wicker dining table for four, fun sea life patterned queen sofa sleeper, and nicely tiled floor. The kitchen has light wood cabinetry, upgraded countertops, the full complement of housewares, and full size appliances. The master bedroom features island style wicker furnishings and custom designed tropical decor. The hall bunks are built in and feature a top safety rail and cozy patterned bedding, perfect for the kids! There is one full bathroom with a shower/ tub combo as well as a Jack and Jill half bathroom. Enjoy the convenience of a stackable washer and dryer also. When not on the beach, you can listen to your favorite music on the CD sound system for premium relaxation. Things to know: Beach service included May - October Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors! Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

There were only four of us but an adult didn’t want to sleep on top bunk bed so she had planned on staying in sleeper sofa. No extra linens were provided and when I emailed to ask about it they told me they supplied the linens and if there weren’t enough guests normally bring extra. We were already there so bringing extra was not an option at that point. There was not enough kitchen utensils, no pan to even scramble an egg with. Phone service was terrible and the WiFi only worked in the bedroom where the router was. Tv kept going in and out on us. The pool is always in the shade so beware of that. The ocean view made up it better!

4 stars because everything worked as it should, it was very clean, but definitely dated. Wallpaper peeling all over, many tiles in floor are loose and missing grout, pictures crooked on the wall, and the king size bed needs to be shot and put out of it’s misery. Great view which is why we picked it and overall satisfied.

While our accommodations were pleasant and some of the amenities were updated from the photos when we arrived, just a couple things to note. Some of the linens needed to be washed upon arrival. Having some additional kitchen staples like a frying pan would have been useful. We were able to make due with the electric skillet. The complex in and of itself was located in a fantastic part of Destin. Quick access to attractions and stores. Overall we'd stay at the facility again, perhaps just a different room.

The view and location of the condo were fabulous, nothing like being directly on the beach. The condo was decently clean however the tiles were coming up in the bathroom and when we pulled out the sleeper sofa for the night, there was blood on the mattress cover and no blanket for the bed. The kitchen could use a skillet or oven mitts but the appliances were clean, new and easy to use. There is no broom in the condo so trying to keep the sand off the floors was challenging. The convenience of the washer and dryer was great and we used it multiple times during our stay. Overall we had a great stay at the beach, but there are a few things thing owner could add to make this condo that much better.

Honestly, we had a great stay. I can’t complain too much, other than the bed. Which. Is. Horrible. Like seriously… replace that thang! Oh- the kitchen and bathrooms are kinda old.. but we’re not cooking so whatever. I will say the unit was clean and smelled fresh.
Buuut. You’re staying here for the location.
Its fantastic. The daily umbrella/chair setup is great, super short walk to the beach, perfect sunsets. Also, this beach is extra beautiful. Not located by a lake where you might get that brown runoff.. And the building is relatively small, only 3 stories, so the beach doesn’t get too crowded.
We would totally stay at this building again, just maybe not *this unit*. But hey, replace that bed and we’ll see ya next year!

The bed and couch were not comfortable, the handle was broken on the dryer, so we could not do laundry. One of the toilets were clogged. On the upside the view was beautiful and it was sunny everyday

Location was just what we wanted. Easy access to the beach. Few suggestions - unit needs a broom. I wanted to sweep the sand a few times & couldn’t. Also, need more bath towels.

This room had a great view of the ocean. The cost of this room had to be the ocean view. Because everything else was a disappointment. This condo has not been updated since the early 80's . All the appliances were old & dirty. The bottom part of the dishwasher was laying flat on the floor. The tub is old and was dirty. The stackable washer & dryer was the newest of the appliances. It was ok, as long as you don't mind the washer and dryer next to the tub. Overall if you are not looking for luxury and just want the view. This would be your ideal place.

Beautiful location on the beach with easy beach access, when finished. Walkway was not finished for our building. Nice to have umbrella and chairs included. However, many many younger kids on the private grounds with some lawn chairs down by the water. Website states that is not permitted by renters even. Chairs and Umbrellas picked up too early, by 5:00. Overall, good place to stay if monitored appropriately. Live and learn.

Just a heads up if you are going to rent this condo. It is VERY outdated as some of
The comments mention. This includes the appliances which sound like they are going to explode! The grout and tile is also coming up. The steps to the beach are gone in building A. You either have to risk going down the Dune or go to the public access. Also If your kids like the pool just know because it is in front of the building it never sees sun. The only good thing about this condo was the view. Oh and it was clean.

Our October 2020 stay in 212A Crystal Sands in Destin
I wanted to provide feedback for our first visit to Crystal Sands condominiums. To be perfectly honest the 212A unit does not leave one with great first impression when arriving in the room as the unit could use some interior upgrades. However this same comment had been made by someone else prior to us booking the unit and we booked anyway. Here is what we did like about the unit: 1) fair price 2) very convenient location to restaurants, shopping 3) beach front with just a couple minutes walk to waters-edge. 4) REALLY liked the provided umbrella and 2 chairs provided (beach service sets these up each day) 5) Room amenities were good and plenty of towels and face-cloths were available. Overall the unit provided everything we needed for a nice 4 night stay.

Condo needs updating.
Condo needs ceiling, floor tile work, bathroom and kitchen updated. Couch and chair had stains and very uncomfortable. Our friends stayed in 115A which was far superior than ours. Disappointing condo but great beach and location.

Great view with a comfortable environment. The internet is pretty slow but all in all a great place to stay.
