Adorable room, had everything we needed for a quick one night stay and the host was happy to let us check in a couple hours early
no lotion and no garbage can in the bathroom, walk to subway is a little long and brutal in the heat (but worth it!)

The room was clean and was just what I needed on my visit. I knew I wasn't gonna be in the room for long periods of time so it served its purpose.
Depending on the time of day, it was a challenge finding parking on the streets.

The room was dirty, we found and a brown no folding blanket into the closet, and a dirty green pad mat on bathroom floor, is so bad you don’t have a extra nice night stand to keep your personal items there and is so bad you don’t have a tv too
We found a iron board in the middle of the hall way, so for those reasons we leaving from that place 5 minutes after, and of course I lost the payment

it’s a great location on a quiet block
no tv in the room I would recommend them so people ant hear the neighbors and it was cold in my room maybe have space heaters

Location
The room was cold. Couldn't adjust the temperature.

location not far from university and metro, nice light design in rooms, host is perfect with answering messages and solving issues
room was just finished and not so code as on photos

The location is good if you will visit the University area. Walking distance.
Sharing the iron is complicated. I conceded my turn to iron my suit, and they returned it with the table totally wet. I suggest providing one iron per room.

Location was fine. Contact with the landlord also worked.
The heating/ventilation was not adjustable and controllable. So it was super warm. The automatic control made it so loud every half hour that you could hardly sleep.

The room had all the basics and was sufficiently clean. Especially the private bathroom was nice. The owner responds to messages quite fast. The common area looked OK, didn't use it though. The entire place was a lot quieter than expected, though I think I was mostly alone during my stay. Outside noise was very tolerable.
The water pressure in the shower was too low, and I wasn't able to properly lock the bathroom window. Also I wish a pair of slippers were available because the floor was cold. The AC/heating apparently has a single setting for the entire house, which may be cost-inefficient and/or lead to dispute with the other guests in the house. Some other reviews said it is difficult to find parking, and yeah, that seemed to be the case though I didn't need it.

it was very cozy and relatively close to the inner city
the view wasn't too good, but i wasn't all that bothered by it, and the room wasn't necessarily well suited for 2 people, but it was manageable

This was the perfect little stay for our night in Philly! I loved that it was so close to the downtown area where everything is happening. The room was clean and cozy and everything we needed. There was plenty of security measures on the doors so we felt safe.
The neighborhood itself was a little rough, but it was quiet at night so it was fine. We got lucky with parking along the street but I imagine it’s difficult usually.

Clean room. Decent shared kitchen.
Lack of convenience. No TV. Shared kitchen.
