The Sakura apt is in an apartment complex, that is somewhat hard to navigate. Upon entering the parking area, the instructions said to look for a black door. All the doors have been painted red. So be on the look out for that. Climbing the 2 and a half flights of stairs can be challenging. As you go up the first flight, be careful of the 3rd step from the top. It is not at the right height and can be a tripping hazard. On the next flight, but be careful as the whole staircase wobbles. It looks as if the bolts holding it to the building are loose. Upon finally entering, the apartment was clean and organized. There was a mention in the listing that there were no cutlery and cooking items, until 11/30. We arrived after this and still found cookware and pots and pans still in the boxes. We had to unpack all of this and it was like we were setting up the vrbo for the owner. I must say me and my partner like to cook and the butcher block was very nice to have. Upon further inspection, we notice that there were no coffee filters or dish washing pods for the dish washer. We notified the property manager and the pods were delivered during our stay. The coffee filters we decided to forgo since we brought our own pour over system. The bathroom was nice, but beware of the shower head. It was installed at an angle that makes it difficult to operate. Also it looks as if this was a remodeled apartment, but the windows were not redone and the 1980's style is evident in the bathroom and with the sliding glass door to the balcony. The main issue we had with this place was the internet service went out for 2 days. Me and my partner were working and needing service and this was a major inconvenience. We contacted the property manager and the responded in a timely fashion, but us being asked to wait around for the google fiber optics people, was very frustrating. I understand these things do not happen all the time, but to again feel like we were working for the property by being the person who needed to be there to let them in and then communicate with the property manager, I would have hoped for some form of compensation. The fiber optics people finally had to run a new wire to the apartment, and this resolved the problem after not having internet and being able to work for 2 days. Luckily whomever stays there next, you probably won't have any issue. Again the property contact was very apologetic, but this whole experience left a bad feeling about our stay.
