This luxury high end home sits in the golf course community of the Highlands and two miles from Breckenridge Village and Resort. It is an architectural gem of 5200 sq. ft., meticulously designed to capture the charm and character of a homey retreat, offering 5 elegant bedrooms and 5 bathroom, plus one half bath. It also has an additional luxury guesthouse, state of the art gourmet kitchen, and a beautifully appointed family room. This exquisite Highlands home displays refined comfort and modern sophisticated amenities, where quality craftsmanship meets thoughtful design creating a bright, relaxing ambience. Stunning views of the ten mile range mountains make it an even more pleasant stay. The main floor has a master king suite with spa bathroom, washer, and dryer. There is a home office for those who need to work. Computer and internet are provided. In the family room, dramatic wood beamed ceilings and picturesque windows open to the view of the ten mile range mountains and golf course. There is a large gourmet kitchen, made for a chef, and quartz counter-tops with a large island. Other amenities include stainless steel appliances, wolf stove, 3 refrigerators, two dishwashers, wine cooler, built in microwave, and a large tv on kitchen wall. You will find a nice breakfast area open to the kitchen. The family room with wooded beamed ceilings, amazing oversized fireplace, and panoramic windows, is a highlight. We have an additional queen guest bedroom on first floor with on suite bathroom. The utility room on first floor includes a large washer and dryer. The second family room downstairs is next to third additional bedroom with king size bed and bath. It has a cozy fireplace, a large flat screen tv on wall, and, for your precious children, there are games, movies, and a game console. There is a small refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave in small kitchen downstairs. The children's bunk-bed room, which sleeps 8, is next to an additional bathroom. The sauna/steam room is available down by the family room, and the movie theater room includes a large screen and projector to enjoy at night. We now have a pool table, as well as a ping pong table to relax and have fun. Enjoy the hot jacuzzi on the deck for all the family to relax under the stars. The home has a 3 car garage. There is a fireplace in every room of the house. The guest quarters is attached to the home, above the garage. It has a living room with breakfast area, queen bedroom, and bathroom, washer/dryer, tv, small but full kitchen. It also includes a stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Animal hair, maybe dog’s hair, were visible on carpet, on sofa’s cushion inside the house and outdoor furniture and on rugs in bathrooms. Requested host to have cleaning crew re-cleaned, but they didn’t show up until later when we were all about to have dinner. My daughter in-law vacuumed the entire house and removed all the outdoor furniture cover and washed them. Host stated she will refund $500, but never did.

This home needs some serious TLC so be prepared! I spoke with Amanda the day we arrived at the airport because I didn't have information on how to get in the property and she argued with me the entire time saying she emailed it to me rather than simply give me the code. That was when I realized Id better watch her because I had a bad feeling. Boy, was I right! This lady is full of lies and excuses. Amanda assessed an incidental fee on us for "scratches" on the wood floor and a "tear in the felt on the pool table." The tear was there when we arrived and I have a photo to prove it. The so called "scratches" on the wood floor were scuff marks from the wooden rocking horse she had sitting out in the living room. After going back and forth she proceeded to tell us she wasn' charging us for the floors, only the felt on the pool table. WE DID NOT TEAR THE FELT AND SHE KNOWS IT! Oddly enough, the first day we arrived we noticed there was a crack in the living room glass that I had taken a picture of and sent to her via text. She said it was from the previous tenants and the glass was on order. Thank goodness I did this because I' sure she would'v tried to say WE did that as well! Shame on me for not including the photo we had of the felt on the pool table in that same text. We experienced a number of issues during our stay-burned out light bulbs, leaky faucets, a broken handle on the faucet in kitchen and broken handles on the cabinets downstairs. Beware of the upstairs master shower!!! It shoots straight out of the shower when you turn it on and water goes all over the floor/wall and all over you! In her listing prior to our stay, she states there is a "NEW pool table." This is false! The pool table was clearly old because the felt was in bad shape, the bumper on one side was loose and the pool sticks were worn to the nub. The upstairs master bedroom's heater did not work the entire time we stayed. Thankfully the fireplace kept us warm. She told me the maintenance man came while we were away to fix the heater, which is also a lie. When I asked her to tell me which day and time he came, she ended up saying he came the week BEFORE our stay to fix the heater/thermostat. There are also cameras outside facing inside the property. Not that we have ANYTHING TO HIDE, just creeped us out feeling like we were being watched the entire time. I would NEVER rent from her, nor will I use VRBO EVER again. They do nothing and are NOT on your side!
