It nice to have a cool house to return to, from being out in the muggy heat of New Orleans, was great. :))
And we got caught up on our laundry. :)

We decided to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary in New Orleans with family (two other couples). We needed a home that would accommodate 3 couples due to hotel prices being so expensive at the time. I located the property, viewed the photos, which were nice. But after reading past reviews, I was skeptical about the property But once I arrived and saw the property it was awesome. The property was as described and more. No issues with anything. The owners where great. We had some issues with our flights before arrival in which we ended up spending the night in Chicago airport and arriving early the next day. The owners were kind enough to allow us to check in early, they was very attentive throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. The proprty was also equipped with brochures of tours and restaurants. No issues with the neighborhood, we used lyft a lot and only paid $8-10 for xl lyft to downtown area. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Our experience was great. Finding places in NOLA is not easy. This was a great choice for us

This rental is newly renovated but you don't get cozy shotgun house you get half of it. It is a duplex shotgun house with parking for one vehicle. It was fairly clean looking except for something blue dripped on the wall in the living room and the floors were nasty, had to mop before we could let my 6 month old grandson down. We had a great time despite the despairing neighborhood as we spent all our time downtown anyway. I was charged 75 dollars for additional guests but I only had 7 including my grandson so that was shady. I purchased the insurance and now they filed a claim against it for a shower door hinge that was broken before we got there. Even after I messaged them about it that night. I wasn't gonna leave a review at all just to be nice but they're using my stay to fix a repair that had nothing to do with me. Duplex should also be in the description, very deceptive

It was our home away from home. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The property was beautiful! The check in process was very smooth and all expectations were made clear. The home was extremely clean with an abundance of amenities. The location was a quick 8-10 minute uber ride to the popular locations. The neighborhood was overall very quiet and our group felt safe. The home itself was beautiful and the check out process was clear and concise. We highly recommend and would stay again!

My team and I came in for a huge catering job and this place was absolutely perfect and so comfortable! We were looking for a place that would be homey and somewhere that we could rest well and chill out. This house was more than perfect and it was so accommodating and had everything we needed and more! I would definitely book again! Beds and master bath and back porch are amazing!

The property was very nice and as described. The master bathroom was amazing! Overall a great stay! The check in process and property manager were great! Only downfall it is not in the best neighborhood but would stay there again if it was available.

Beautiful accommodations, centrally located and close to tourist spots. Easy to reach the host, who were very responsive.
We were here for a solemn occasion, but we enjoyed our stay immensely. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Thank you E&M.

The property was very cute and clean. It was a great location and the neighbors were very friendly. The host gave detailed instructions for check in and responded to any messages in a timely manner. If we go back to New Orleans we will book here again!

Had a great week! This house is a short walk to bus stops & the $15 jazzy pass worked great! The house had everything we needed & we had groceries delivered. We did our outings during the day & if it got dark we took a cab or Uber back home. We had no issues with neighbors or the neighborhood. The only thing the house lacked was more seating in living room. It could use more chairs & a small table to eat on. But the house itself was clean with lots of amenities.

Let's just say that you can't judge a book by its cover. The house was decorated beautifully and very clean. It was pretty close to everything. I wish there was more parking available but overall, we were very satisfied.

The only accurate thing about this stay was the interior pictures. The owner only tells part of the story. This property is located in the HOOD!!! It’s run down with Rotten houses and abandoned busted up cars. The only reason I didn’t know this before is because the owner doesn’t send the address until the day before you check-in.(This is a ploy to keep your money) I called him immediately and wanted to get a refund without even stepping into the house and was told No! and if the property was good enough for his family then it’s good for anyone..! I told him that I had small children and they were afraid of the neighborhood and he said I should have done research before booking the house…🤬 Remember how’s this possible when he hides the info until the day before??? Also there was a planned power outage the next day that they forgot to mention that shut the power off at 8am.. I was only offered 30 bucks for the inconvenience ( Which I haven’t Received). Bottom line if you don’t mind staying in a run down Crappy neighborhood near downtown this is your Spot…Never again for my family…😡

Overall we had a great stay. The house itself is nice and the beds were very comfortable. It was very close to the location of Jazz Fest and only about a 15 minute ride into the French Quarter. The area the house is located in is run down, which was a bit jarring when we all arrived. The property does have cameras which made us all feel a little better about leaving our cars on the street. The owners are super responsive and answered my long list of questions very quickly, which I appreciated.

Erica & Manny were excellent hosts, excellent communication. Very accommodating. The rental is newly renovated & clean. Given the size of the bedrooms, aside from the master, & the small space in the kitchen & living room with no dining room, my only suggestion is that it is accommodating to 4 comfortably.

Nice place close to everything.
The place was very well taken care of and close to all of the things we wanted to do and see. Errec and Manny were very cordial and welcoming which made the stay that much better. Only critique is the streets are in disrepair in the vicinity, but being from New Orleans it wasn't surprising or problematic. The house was immaculate and provided amenities a welcome bonus. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a stay in NOLA!

Everything in this recently renovated house seemed new and clean, right down to the kitchen utensils and bedding. The interior decor was stylish and pleasing to the eye. The primary bedroom suite was spacious and luxurious, even boasting “his and hers” sinks and showers, an enormous closet, and French doors opening to a small back deck and yard. The hosts certainly had the convenience of their guests in mind, providing ample linens as well as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, and plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. One thing we did miss was sufficient kitchen seating. There were two bars stools placed at the kitchen island, and collapsible TV tables allowed us to sit on the couch to eat, but we were not able to sit and eat as a family in the house. Considering the fantastic cuisine and prolific restaurant scene of New Orleans, we didn’t take too many meals in the house anyway, but with small children, a sturdy table would have been more ideal. The neighborhood was eclectic, to say the least (but I found this to be true of almost every part of New Orleans). There were a handful of adorable, newly renovated homes such as this one, but also a few that looked condemned, as well as some run-down apartment buildings within a stone’s throw. I saw very few neighbors; however, and the neighborhood remained quiet throughout our weekend stay. If a bit dilapidated in parts, the location was extremely convenient. We could be to the Central Business District, Garden District, French Quarter, or the City Park and other notable areas in just a few minutes drive. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating in their communication as well.

My girlfriends and I stayed here for my bachelorette trip and we loved it! The place was so clean and smelled absolutely fabulous. It seemed like it was only about 10 minutes from everything which made for short Uber rides. The neighbor in the duplex was extremely nice and helpful. Parking is on the street but there were no problems finding a spot whatsoever. The neighborhood was quiet and looks like they're remodeling some homes in the area. We would definitely stay here again!
