5 star location, not a 5 star hotel

The room itself and view was amazing. When complaining, staff rectified swiftly any issues, like the shower gel. When we mentioned our challenges at checkout, the staff took our feedback seriously and addressed our concerns in a very professional and satisfactory way for us, leaving me in a somewhat more positive mind of our stay.

Not what you expect from the price you pay - would not recommend or stay again. Staff were not very friendly at check in, we seemed to be an inconvenience to their day. I had previously called with questions and staff didn't speak English well enough to understand me. This wasn't a problem when we were staying though. Rooms were amazing, however fridge contained items from previous tenant and shower gel was empty. Room service was shocking, arrived cold and drinks in paper cups, part of order missing, and with only one set of cutlery for 2 meals ordered. One day we couldn't reach room service at lunch time at all and have up after three attempts. It's very noisy due to its location when you want the balcony doors open. No floor length wardrobe for dresses, e.g. wedding dress.

Good services, the worst breakfast lines ever. Not worth my money.

Beddings. And the front service was excellent.

Smelled bath rope, bad lighting in the rooms, and no varieties for breakfast. It is totally not worth a 5 star hotel rating nor my money. I don’t think I will ever book to stay with Pan Pacific again.

Nice, well-equipped apartment hotel with the BEST location in Sydney.

Incredible location. Balcony apartments with amazing Harbour view. Can’t imagine a better location. Minutes from botanical garden, ferries, and opera house. Easy walk to cruise dock. Apartments were comfortable and well equipped. Pay the higher price for a view of the harbour; it is worth it.

Stayed in two different rooms on either side of cruise. The first room was on a higher floor and very well maintained. The second room had several problems such as light fixtures that did not work and an air conditioning unit that buzzed. We reported the problem when we checked in, but it could not be repaired until the day we were checking out. They did give us a discount for our inconvenience.

We love staying here. We note that we were in a renovated room but not all have been renovated. Ask.

We love the location and being able to sit on the balcony and watch the ferries, and the Harbour Bridge. The room was on a lower floor and quite close to the Quay so there was quite a bit of city noise, if one had the door open (closed, no problems at all) but we didn't mind as the location, room made it absolutely worthwhile.

We didn't love the breakfast offerings and, for the price, one could expect better. The bar in the hotel could be open longer as we really wanted to be able to have a drink after performances, and that was not possible

The place to be, wenn man im Zentrum des Geschehens sein will.

Beste Lage, die man in Sydney haben kann. Auch der Balkon ist gut. Kurze Wege zu den Fähren. Großes Appartment mit allem , was man braucht. Man hätte auch gut kochen und Frühstück selber machen können.

Aufgrund der Lage kann es schon mal laut sein (Signal gebende Fähren und Schiffe). Frühstück gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wir hatte mit Frühstück gebucht. Continental Breakfast konnte man leider nicht wählen. Wir würden nur ohne Frühstück buchen. Dann kann man Continental aufs Zimmer bestellen.

The location is absolutely perfect and the staff was delightful. Loved my stay! Wish I had more time.

Although the harbour view is absolutely amazing it can be a bit loud....if you are sensitive to noise

Perfekt

Tolle Lage mit Blick auf Fähren und Harbour Bridge neben dem botanischen Garten und dem Opernhaus. Sehr geräumig mit gut ausgestatteter Küche (Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, Wäschetrockner) und bequemen Betten. Bei einer "Havarie" mit dem Geschirrspüler sofortige Hilfe durch das Hauspersonal und Monteur (Danke!). Klimaanlage funktionierte gut und man kann auch die Fenster öffnen.

I would definately stay again.

Our suite was perfect. The location was perfect. Loved our view and aspect.

Requested a small breakfast via room service, in the evening as we were leaving early the next morning however was refused as it was dinner time. Woul.d have thought a 5 star hotel would be more flexible. A piece of bread, some butter and cheese was all I requested. Had to purchase the cheese platter which was not what I really wanted.

The location in the quay was great and the room size also great.

An exceptional experience at a reasonable price.

Location, room & breakfast were all exceptional and exceeded my expectations. The beautiful view from my room was very relaxing and the view from the restaurant made dining a unique experience. Location could not have been better !

Centre of tourist's Sydney

Apartment overlooking Circular Quay. Separate bedroom. Full kitchen, dining and lounge area. A large balcony. All overlooking the Quay. Large bathroom with spa bath. Closest to trains, taxis, food, Botanic Garden and Opera House. I will definitely stay there again when I am in Sydney.

Dissapointing experience in what should be one of the best in Sydney

View is amazing being on the harbour. Its a convenient location and close to lots of restaurants, transport and services. Good walk-ability to other parts of the CBD or transport to further afield. Bed was very comfortable and overall the amenities are good. Restaurant staff at breakfast provided great service.

Despite the views, location and great breakfast staff, on this, my second stay at the Pullman, I came away very disappointed. The hotel clearly is dated and tired in need of a substantial makeover. Its got views to die for and is very convenient location wise and its a good hotel overall, but for the price I paid I expected so much more from a 5 star hotel. The decor is very dated (with the exception of the art choices which were really good), the bathrooms are in need of complete renovation, the 3 years out of date pay per view movies are an odd choice in the days of Netflix, the room service experience was terrible and the food offered very disappointing given this is the home of Q Dining, the reception staff were disinterested to say the least (with the exception of the concierge manager who was great, every other time I barely got a smile - in fact on check in I waited a full minute before the person on reception bothered to look up from their computer to greet me). Sadly all of this combined made it a disappointing experience for me. I have stayed here twice and this second time was definitely worse - but even the first time I was a bit underwhelmed. I won't be staying here a third time.
