Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Loved that the house was right on the beach. Only thing that was missing was a screen door in the back. With the warm weather we wanted to get some fresh air and leaving the sliding door open with no screen door brought a ton of flies into the house.

6 out of 12 light bulds out, including stairwells. Not a safe enviroment for people noy familar with the house. Locks on door broken. Lock on children room not working at all. Had to adjust and fix. Washer/Dryer doors to laundry room off tracks. Could not fix. Got locked out from electonic front door lock. Took too long to fix. 3-4 phone calls and vists to 64 street office. Missed my afternoon medication. Towel holder in first floor bedroom broken. AC/ Heat turned off at breaker box. Large screen door to back door sitting in the utility room on first floor. All the childproof gates all broken. Not a safe place for children. Left a day early. The lockout was the last straw.

Lovely deck on main floor and a great view from the 3rd floor deck. Convenient location. Our family had a great week there. Great location oceanfront makes it easy to get to the beach in a matter of minutes.

Adults and kids alike loved the house, balconies, views, pool, access to beach and the outdoor play area. Beds were comfortable, house was clean, kitchen supplies met our needs and there were plenty of tvs and space for a full house. Would love to return!

There was standing water from a storm a few days prior that caused flooding in another home. The water was in the garage and caused a mildew smell throughout the home. Location was amazing though loved being right on the beach.

The house is a great location for small children. We had several plumbing issues which were called in the day we checked in. I called numerous times and kept being told that mgmt would call me back. They never did. There is also a breakdown of communication from the after hours or central number and the local office. They also said management would call us back and did not. All associates very kind when I would speak to them, however no follow through at all with what we were being told. We will not rent this house again, nor will we rent from Vacasa again. Our issues were never resolved while we were there. Only as we were checking out and my husband and I went to the mgt company in person and insisted on speaking to the manager did they finally speak to us. Hopefully they have fixed the issues and brought the home up to standard for the future renters. Our issues included: Water coming through the kitchen ceiling when bathtub water running, dishwasher not working, outlet was tripped by the water leak, but even when that dried dishwasher would run but not clean, mold on bedroom ceiling, very slow drains in 2 out of 3 showers, screen on slider kept falling off track .Our family enjoyed themselves being right on the beach, pretty property ,however the above issues need to be addressed both the house issues and communication issues. I understand they are very busy, but our issues were valid and should have been taken care of immediately.

This property is breath-taking! The location is perfect and the sunrise and sunsets through the many windows and balconies are beautiful! The property was well stocked and the beds were lined with Marriott quality sheets and comforters. There is a bathroom in almost every bedroom. TV's are nice and big and have a lot of channels. Also, checking in and checking out was simple.

This place was FILTHY! The mattress covers were extremely stained. Every single surface was covered in sticky dirt. They didn’t even run a vacuum. We ended up vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning the lent filters in this place. I shouldn’t have to clean a place after spending as much money as I did!

Ocean Colony 2 was lovely for my family and me. We had a total of 8 adults and the space was perfect. The room and bathroom layout offers a great amount of privacy. The decor and furniture is updated and the location in OCMD is wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

Posting here in hopes the owner of this property know how awful Vacasa is with their property and those renting it. We continued to reach out to Vacasa, with no resonse and NOT even posted our review to their site. The good: • Location to the beach was amazing, it could not be any better. Come and go from beach to house, vice versa with ease. • Great outdoor furniture on the decks. • Beach not too crowded, even for 4th of July week. • Umbrella rental right by the house. • House provided beach chairs. • Beds were really comfortable. • Great that we had clean linens as part of our rental. The not good, first time renting through Vacasa: • The cleaning was not great. Couch and chair were stained, had food crumbs behind pillows and in the cushions. Stairs covered in sand. We went to plug in a vacuum to clean the sand and found more food scraps around the end table (but neither of the vacuums were working). The upstairs carpets were stained more than I can even describe. Even had a razor blade laying on the stove. And oh the poor owners of this property, people have done some damage to the walls and furniture, and whatever the cleaning company is using on your stainless steel appliances is awful, looks like a dog tried to clean it with their tongue. Tons of broken beach toys and pieces of a wagon or stroller were all out on the deck (we did clean this up and tossed unusable broken items). • The cleaning quickly became the least of our worries. Those renting the property next to us (also a Vacasa rental) were having a weekend of parties, loud parties (someone was crushing it in beer pong, per what we could hear until 2:00 a.m.), smoking around the clock (when the property/complex is non-smoking and only a couple of feet away from us sitting on our deck area), and the poor girl drunk-crying from the top deck at 2:30 a.m. was just too much. We did speak to Vacasa, not sure what was done about it. Not sure Vacasa did any regulation of capacity, smoking, partying level, etc. • Upon arrival we did not receive our parking passes and COULD NOT reach anyone from Vacasa to help; we tried multiple phone numbers, texts and messaging. I get that the weekend is crazy busy with check-in and outs but we could not talk with an actual person. The complex has signs everywhere stating that no parking pass = towed. • Finally spoke to someone from Vacasa (she sounded irritated and exhausted before I even started talking), they gave mixed messages, info and no help.

The location is hard to beat. Down a few steps from the deck and you're on the sand. There's a nice area of "private" sand there to set up a kids pool etc. or a few more steps over the dunes and you're on the main beach! The house is comfortable, well laid-out, and updated nicely throughout. We hope to be back again next year!
