Older building but plenty of parking. Being updated. Friendly staff. Double queen room was nice size. No fitted sheet just a flat sheet tucked under. Took forever for the air to cool the room. Temperature went from 69 to 67 over night. The lowest setting for the air was 65. Had to have a plunger after 1 normal use. Kinda embarrassing.

Amazing trip and this hotels location is walking distance to anything around river walk!

Very nice hotel but location was not great. It was on the Riverwalk, but about a 30 min walk to Alamo and even further to shops and restaurants. Steps away as described on website is very misleading. They should provide a free shuttle service if they want to make it convenient for guests. As nice as the hotel was, and very friendly staff, I would still not stay here again when you could get much closer to what the Riverwalk has for same price or less.

This was a great location, on the Riverwalk, but removed from the craziness of the main restaurant area. The room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet - slept well both nights that we stayed.

Nice hotel, recently renewed. Right on the riverwalk but about 1t min walk from main restaurants área. Only downside was not having a charger for ev

This hotel charges a fee per night for parking and does not state that in the booking. I would have paid extra for the hotel because it is a nice location and a nice hotel overall, but why scam you customers with unethical business tactics?

The only thing that I found wrong with the room is the bathroom is very confined, other than that, it's good

Very nice hotel, service at the reception not help about my expectations and requests

The location was why we booked. The 10 minute walk saved alot of money on hotel price. The back entrance was right on the Riverwalk. It was about a 10 minute walk to the main Riverwalk location. It was also a safe walk.
The room was very spacious and clean. We also had maid service every day which was very nice! The breakfast that was offered was also better than most free breakfasts. If I visit San Antonio again I’ll stay here again!

Hotel had contruction work during our stay. Water was cut without notice. Parking is more expensive than parking lots just around the corner, even if you are a guest at the hotel.

It has a great location, directly on the river, close to downtown, and a very short walk to restaurants. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in full renovation mode, with workers starting early & staying late. I wish there were a way to be notified. A big plus is that they allow pets. With the riverwalk behind the hotel, it was great for our dog walk. I would return.

Updating the interior during our stay
The breakfast area is way too small

Clean quiet and convenient to everything. We will stay here again

The hotel is under construction. We were placed in a room next a room that had been gutted, constant drilling, hammering etc.

They were in the middle of a extensive remodel and it is hardly fair to judge them at this time. They were making the best of a situation of which they had no control over. Good for them!!

Private parking and easy access

It's a beautiful location on the Riverwalk and would have been wonderful if it wasn't in the middle of remodeling. The room we were assigned, smelled like sheetrock and across the hall they were drilling loudly. Their lobby is closed and you check-in in a small hallway in the back. There are workmen everywhere.
However, the staff was great when we complained. They moved us upstairs further away from the construction to a wonderful room with a view of the river. If, as they expect, the construction is finished by April, I'd stay here again. Just wish I had been warned.

Great rooms despite the construction

Our stay was nice, breakfast was ok it was basic, but the hotel is still being remodeled, no phone in the room, no microwave in the room no closet rod to hang up clothes, low water pressure for shower then it took a long time for hot water to build up....was difficult to adjust temperature for a comfortable shower..bathroom lights were sensor...had to keep bathroom door closed.to shut off lights..room needs a dresser for storage and mirror. Even though our room was remodeled the bathroom shower pan had gaps between it and the shower walls, missing caulking, bathroom door knob loose, only one working elevator

Property under renovation and over priced for week day stay...should not have to pay for overnight parking when paying rate of $155 per night

Crummy old hotel definitely not worth $400 a night the beds were supposed to be queen size and they were full size
We have stayed in the same brand of hotel in Colorado and always had a good experience but this hotel is awful. Can’t believe we paid $400 a night for this.

In the rooms where nice and clean- the facility is under construction. The doors didn’t open properly to the facility, key cards didn’t open the parking gate after registration. Smelled like paint and we never saw when booking the facility was undergoing construction. Saw a contractor smoking and urinating in the parking lot next to his vehicle.

Property under major construction, very noisy, and when I mentioned this to the front desk, I was made to feel that my concerns were not theirs

The hotel was perfect. It was right by the Riverwalk, spacious, quiet, and just what we needed. They were doing some remodeling, but it was still quiet. I will definitely stay again.

The property was very clean and tidy. Room was very clean and tidy. Service was great. However, they were doing reservations, but it wasn’t an inconvenience for our weekend stay. Had a few issues with the hot water in the shower and sink of the water in the shower. Nothing major. Bed wasn’t real comfortable.

Property undergoing significant repairs and difficult entry, no front desk, and lack of any real common area made for unpleasant stay. Not worth what is being charged.

Had to walk around to the back to get into property. no lighting, dark! walked in and 2 ladies sitting on a small table with plastic around them. very rude. looking at other peoples rooms seeing what they got. we booked for double bed with pull out bed and she said I dont have that i have a king, which was fine but she was SO rude when i asked if they had anything else because we did have 6 people she said I already said I dont have anything else, do you want it or not? JUST RUDE!!!! and it was over $300 a night, we walked in room that was dirty, microwave was going and there were stain on the couch. We will NEVER EVER go back there!!!!

The property was being renovated so all services (and check in) we not smoothly functional. But I think the staff did a remarkable job in helping things go as smoothly as possible. Would like to stay there again when renovations are complete. M

Breakfast has the same thin scrambled eggs every day. Have had much better selection. Under construction so no place. To relax except in your room. Decor is very brown but spacious. Housekeeping was great. The pool location is never in the sun. Location good for walking places.

I liked the convenience and parking facility. I didn’t like ongoing remodeling effort that caused us to go via back door and use only one elevator

Hotel is under construction, something we were not aware of when we booked this stay. There is no lobby at this current moment in time. They do still have the breakfast in the morning, which actually was pretty good, however, it was limited as well. Only one elevator works in the building, that she will likely need to take the stairs. If you don’t wanna wait forever to get an empty elevator. For suites, the rooms are kind of small. However, the beds were fairly comfortable. I can see why they’re doing the renovations as this place is quite old. However, the location is still good and you were only a 10-15 minute walk from anything relevant on the Riverwalk/Alamo Plaza.

Good stay, under construction so meh

We had ants in our room on the 3rd floor. The hotel was "under renovations" during our stay, which was not mentioned on the website. So the restaurant, coffee shop/cafe, and bar were all closed. There were no open coffe areas throughout the main areas like stated on the website, and the "main lobby" was set up in a tiny hallway where people accumulated and you had to squeeze by. I get that they were trying to improve their property, but they should also stop advertising the amenities that they are not offering at this time. I was very disappointed that we couldnt even find a pot of coffee in a main area of the hotel so we could sit and visit. The breakfast menu was good, but we had to eat in a room that was thrown together every morning that had not near enough seating for guests. Like I said, a warning before arrival or a statement on their website letting cuatomers know what will not be available should be fair. And possibly some discounted rates.

We arrived to find the property was undergoing construction/renovation. We wanted a relaxing few days away, but hard to relax with noise from construction.
The staff were pleasant and helpful.
I would give this Hyatt location another try.
