The hotel is conveniently located with tons of great restaurants nearby. Best part of the hotel is the staff. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming.

The bed was comfy and the blackout curtains were welcome.

Convenient location at The Wharf. We stayed on the 9th floor with a partial view of the waterfront. The room was spacious and comfortable for our week-long stay. The shower had a nice rainfall and handheld heads. In-room toiletries included body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and hand wash. Having a mini fridge was a plus. The king sized bed was comfortable with plush pillows. The duvet could have been thicker/heavier but the room temp was easy to adjust for cooler nights.
The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. During daily complimentary happy hours, they served wine/cocktails. The main dining option served a nice variety of light bites and drinks. The bartenders at Whiskey Charley make great cocktails and offered local sight seeing recommendations. Overall, our stay was wonderful!

I Wish parking wasn’t so expensive.. but you get what you pay for.

The location is amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly. I didn’t feel out of place for staying here with small children and there were so many places to walk to.

Staff was not warm and welcoming seemed standoffish

Great weekend stay at the wharf in DC. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the small lounge chair in the living room could only fit one person and no doors separating the living room space and bedroom. Would definitely stay again at the Canopy!

Nice decor. Staff were incredible

Valet or garage parking is very steep but may be typical for DC. Staff was great - polite, friendly and helpful. Very quick room service

The wharf is a great location for being away from the normal D.C. shuffle. The room had a few problems, such as a broken nespresso machine (they replaced it), bad USB port, burned out lights, and reverse labeling between Hot and Cold in the shower (really). Then, they were working on the elevators between 7am and 3pm and we couldn't get up to our room without climbing the stairs (to the 7th floor)! But overall the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was comfortable. The service was great. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. Quick Uber ride to Capitol and Whitehouse.

We really liked the view from our room. We did not like the stains on the furniture in our room. We were surprised there was no room service and when we tried to get brunch in the restaurant we were "in between" service times at 10 am. There should be some type of option to get food at 10 am. Great place but not really focused on what the guests need.

When i checked in there were no wash clothes in my room not one. I called down to the desk to request some stepped out for a few hours returned needing to shower and there were still no wash clothes. I was more aggressive when i called down to the desk the second time. Unacceptable for a hotel that was three hundred some odd dollars a night. There are no c type chargers only usb the parking garage is not included its an additional $60 per night. The good thing about this hotel is the location. Staff were not helpful but it was clean.

The staff was awesome! The room was nice and clean. The only negative was the low water pressure in the sink.

This was SUCH a pleasant experience!! I don’t stay in DC often but this hotel made me want to book an extra night!! Clean, updated, convenient location. Only thing it was missing was a pool. I will say this, however. Parking was HELL! It took me almost an hour to get to my room and settled from the time I pulled up. Granted, it was a busy Saturday night at the wharf. But they have gotttt to do some parking improvements. Also be prepared to spend at least $60 per night on parking

The DC Wharf is a great location. We attended a concert at the Anthem and it was just a short walk from the hotel.

My husband and I spent just 1 overnight while in town for a concert. Check-in was smooth and efficient; room was well appointed and spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Elevators can be a bit tricky if you're not used to them, but staff were accommodating and helpful. Location of this hotel is perfect for visiting The Wharf. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

The room had potential, but it was clear the property is poorly maintained.
The transition from bathroom tile to carpet was in very bad condition, I unfortunately found an exposed carpet tack/nail with my bare foot that drew a considerable amount of blood during my first day in the room.
I notified someone at the front desk immediately, I told them I was aware it wasn’t something that could be repaired on short notice but asked if they could send someone up with a hammer to at least smash the sharp point of the nail down.
No one ever showed, and the next person I spoke to at the front desk wasn’t aware of anyone they could call . I ended up placing a folded towel over the area and trying to avoid it for the remainder of our trip.
We also had no house keeping service during our 3 day stay, I was able to find someone from the cleaning staff in the hallway that had some supplies on a cart luckily, as our call to the front desk to request a toilet roll went unanswered.
Nice neighborhood otherwise, enjoyed the shops, restaurants, and free shuttle.
