Great location and had everything we needed.
The shower was outdated.

The employees were so helpful and nice

This is not my first stay at the Evergreen and it appears to,have deteriorated a bit. By the way, I do not mean the desk folks, as they’re wonderful.
I took my son to have a light dinner and a couple of drinks. The establishment was fairly crowded and there was ONE person handling all the work of the wait staff. By naans her fault, but terrible management.
I went down to have a light continental breakfast ( very nice thing) and there was a dog sitting on prancing on one of the sofas. Please let me know if that is Evergreen policy.??

well it is very aged, smelly, and not one of the best hotels in vail. only thing it has is the closeness to the mountain, the hospital, and village.

We were meeting friends for several days of skiing and chose Evergreen lodge for the location to the free in town bus. My first impression of the lobby was that there was a septic tank, bleach smell. The morning coffee and fruit breakfast was served in this area and it was distraction. I travel with a service dog. Getting to room cleaned daily was kinda a chore. The Nepalese restaurant was fantastic! Overall, We enjoyed our stay and would stay again but the hotel really needs a refresh.

The nicest staff ever. Gabriel was particularly accomodating and kind.
Very comfy beds and pillows are wonderful, but the room was a been a bit run down since our last visit. Didn't care because we are there to ski. Will stay again for price + location, plust the wonderful staff. Rooms should have microwaves and staff should allow guests priority in the elevators. Coffee in the lobby should be better. Overall a great stay.

I was here for a 4 day ski trip. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good. The hotel was quiet at night. It was within walking distance of several attractions. The staff was friendly. The only thing that was inconvenient was that one day, the maid service did not give us enough towels, so we had to go to the exercise room to take some.

The person who checked us in was not friendly. The room was comfortable and large enough for our family of four. Lots of amenities in the hotel lobby, two restaurants, pool, hot tub. Location was nice. It is not ski in ski out but it is close enough. I would stay there again.

The location is great but it is quite an old property.

The location is perfect

Proximity to the Steadman Clinic was very convenient. There was a strong gas smell in the lobby area throughout our stay (5 nights) which made it impossible to stay and work at the "business center" located in the lobby.

Excellent location! Room was comfortable and spacious for four of us. Restaurants were great!

Great stay! Staff was helpful and the room was very comfortable. The sports bar had a great vibe!

Overly priced, old property, cold room, heater was barely blowing hot air, we had to call front desk and ask for an additional portable heater. Based on my personal experience I don't recommend.

The Evergreen Lodge was just what our family needed for the night while my son participates in a ski school program in Vail. It is conveniently located and its easy to walk to either Vail Village or Lionshead. It's an older property and is definitely a bit worn, but it is fairly clean and a better deal compared to most Vail hotel properties.

Couple things stood out in the negative: the breakfast offerings were pretty weak. And, I mean come on, you couldn't even give us more than a single bar of soap for three days? We had to snag soap from the sauna/hot tub bathrooms because even after we called the front desk (twice), and went down to the front desk hours later - you still couldn't get anyone to hand me a bar of soap or bring soap to the room. Third, there wasn't any concierge service, directions, shuttles, or assistance to get to the slopes. There was no guidance for restaurants, or really any kind of reasonably posh vacation treatment. I don't know, maybe I was expecting too much. I realize it wasn't the Four Seasons but it was Vail and it wasn't cheap. So, my review is this: you get what you get - bring your own soap.

I love this location. Walkable to lifts, shopping, bus stop. Rooms are cozy and have plenty of storage space. Staff are friendly and professional. Just love it.

This is a fairly old property but is okay for a skiing trip. The staff is friendly and was able to accommodate with a rollaway bed. We did not appreciate that they charged $114 “resort fee” which was not disclosed by Expedia. Parking was complimentary.

Very springy mattress, door was already open when we got to our room.
Bathroom was dirty. The entire building smelled like natural gas.
Restaurant staff was nice, but definite language barrier and service was slow with below average food.
Would not stay here again.

This is a great bang for your buck. If you’re active and don’t mind a liiiittle bit of an extra walk, you’re still in walking distance to everything in the village. There is a sports bar type place inside and the food was surprisingly really good, and you could tell a lot of the locals go here to drink at night if you like that kind of thing and we do! Loved Vail and would stay here again.

We had an early surgery appointment at the Steadman Clinic, this hotel allowed us to walk to the Hospital as it is next door.

The lobby area smelled of gas both the day we checked in and the next morning. We also only had lukewarm water in our shower and the pressure was low.

Beautiful lobby with a quick check in process.

Free onsite parking, close to town & the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Just beware this hotel has no AC which is fine for most Colorado months but if you get hot, don’t stay here. Everything else is great.

Location was perfect. The restaurants in the hotel were delicious and had a lot of great options.

Evergreen Lodge continues to be a high standard, affordable accommodation option in Vail. Plus, the bar is vibrant, Annapurna Restaurant serves delicious food, the beds are comfy, and there is morning coffee and pastries in the lobby.

Hotel has no air conditioning, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and noisy. Paid for a Mountain View room and we opened the curtain to look into the side of a hospital. So to cool the room we had to open the window and hear the sound of the hospital HVAC.

A delightful lodge with a great hot tub, pool, and restaurant. Easy walking distance to Gondola 1 and Lions Head. Rooms rather large with plenty of closet space. Just off the Vail exit. Easy outdoor parking. Have stayed here many times. I think it is one of the best locations and most reasonably priced lodge in Vail.

the room is nice and clean. however, the bed was not as expected. it feels like you are sleeping on an empty spring. I think it is time the bed and mattress should be changed.
