I enjoyed my stay. The hotel location was excellent. Very nice historical, walking neighborhood. The hotel was very clean. Nice lobby for relaxing. There was a lobby bar/restaurant and a Starbucks a block away. Very secure. Your key gives you access to only your floor, so if traveling with family or friends, request the same floor. (Or always meet in the lobby.) A/C didn’t work for the first 24-30 hours, but was fixed before we turned in for the night on day 2.

Great hotel right in the historic center of Philly. Easy to walk walk everywhere.
Our room has an issue with the thermostat and the fitted sheet was too small for the bed and kept riding up. Made some adjustments to make it work.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The location was near historic landmarks and it was easy to walk around to sightsee.

Great stay in historic district

HI - GREAT location. We were able to walk to almost everything. Rooms need more electrical outlets. The outlets on the lamps did not work. The staff was very good - but more attention should be paid to cleaning the tubs and corners of the bathrooms . Also the bathroom faucet made a mess of the counter every time - no matter how diligent - it didn't seem to go far enough out into the bowl.

Arrived and told the room was not ready to come back at 4 o’clock. We left our luggage and returned a little past four when we got into the room it was filthy rugs floor not even sure the sheets were changed stains on the side of the mattresses, not supplied with anything, I did complain and we had to change the room the next day The hotel itself is very old and not maintained well in disrepair everywhere you look

The hotel was in a good location but in terrible condition. It seemed clean but looked shabby and cheaply appointed.

Nice clean place in great location.

The hotel was nice. But, for some reason the cleaning maids failed to make the bed for two of the nights. It was sorted, but as it was part of our reservation, make sure you understand what you reservation details when it comes to what you get as far as their cleaning service is concerned.

I stayed at Wyndham resort in Philadelphia for 5 nights. The lobby is clean and the people were friendly. That is where the good fortune stopped. Upon stepping into the hallways a stench of stale cigarette smoke greeted us. The room was falling apart - drawers that don’t open, bathroom doors that don’t lock, a clogged bathroom drain and a broken hook on the wall to start. The drawer, while trying to unpack snapped off the tracks completely and broke. I notified the front desk and was told if you don’t need it, put it to the side. I did. Even though I said I would like to unpack. I unpacked anyway, and continued about my vacation. I walked through an even stronger stench to return to my room- this time of smoke and marijuana. After returning to the room after a long day, took a shower in a tub that did not drain. I finally went to the front desk. I was sent an electrician to fix the issues. He could not. I made a comment about the smoke smells, as I am allergic and it was becoming increasingly worse. He said “many people smoke in the stairwells and it seeps through the halls”. I asked if we should move rooms and he said it “wouldn’t make a difference”. I contacted hotels.com which is where our reservation was and they insisted we move rooms. We did. This one was in better shape, physically and had only a faint smell of smoke. Only to wake up in the early morning (5am) to a swollen face, and eyes due to the smoke in the halls. It continued to be an issue for the duration.

The staff was AMAZING! Super friendly and caring. From the front desk, to concierge, to Tracy at the bar. We were always met with smiles and great attitudes. So although the Hotel was a little noisy, and some parts could use some tidying, our overall stay was great and would definitely stay again!

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. However, upon check-in I learned that they charge you at least $30 a day to park your vehicle. Also, they hold $50 a day for incidentals. I'm already pating $110 a night. All the extra charges were ridiculous.......

Not impressed by Security protokol, after a city tour my key did not work.
Reception staff said my room was on another flor, I disagree but godt a key, it turned out someone else was in that room.
Back in reception security escorted me to my room, but then they wanted me in a new room after some time got one, however this was also not empty, at this point I was not happy- 35 minutes later I got the fourth room! I can not in a lifetime recommend this hotel. Staff said if I would complain I should wait for the general manager which would be onsite in 2 hours

Check-in was amazing. The front desk clerk Ericka was AMAZING. Beautiful energy. The hotel was beautiful and the within walking distance of a lot. I found a grease stained washcloth. But that was my only issue.

Staff was wonderful. Site was just a bit dated. It was fine for the price and served its purpose but not a place that I’m excited to stay at again.

Before my arrival, I received numerous emails about dining services and parking. But no warning that there would be no water available between 11 PM and 5 AM because of repairs. I arrived at 11:30 PM. Was greeted by an employee desk clerk who did not inform me of the lack of water, and very rudely told me I wouldn’t be able to get water until 5 AM after I discovered the problem myself. I never stay at Windham Hotel again.

I really enjoyed my stay. The carpet is a bit outdated but they manage the property pretty well, for it to be in the historic district. Staff was very accommodating. The service in the restaurant was superior, Tracey made me feel welcome every day I dined. Parking was convenient in the garage attached to the hotel. Everything I needed was in walking distance. I felt safe in the area. I would return.

Unbelievable but there is no stable hot water for bath after 10pm. Waited for 10 minutes and had to take a shower with cold water. Almost got cold. Everything else is fine though

I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel, as some reviewers made it seem terribly outdated. The lobby looked like it had been completely remodeled and the room was in decent shape. My only complaint would have been that I thought bathroom cleanliness could have been a little better.
In terms of the staff, however, they were amazing. Cesca at the front desk is a rock star. It was one of the best check-in experiences I have ever had at a hotel and she had even remembered my name after my check-in when I stopped by the desk the next day with a question.
Same with restaurant staff. They were all very accommodating.
For this price, you simply can not go wrong.
