lukewarm showers, hard beds, parking fees not disclosed,500 pm check in, high deposit for key fobs, should have stay at casino hotels.

Bathroom and towels were dirty. Parking is on street, IF available, or you park at Circus Circus parking garage. Condo was VERY far from parking, with groceries and luggage. Mattresses were hard, pillows were small and sheet sets didn’t fit mattress properly. Hospitality Manager was absolutely far from hospitable, even though I sent photos of the dirty and unkept bathroom. We left in less than our supposed stay and they did NOT want to reimburse for the other half of the stay saying Expedia doesn’t allow refunds and they honor that. This was anything but a relaxing of a stay. Would not recommend or return!

Property was very nice, unfortunately the tenants/visitors are quite messy. The lobby was very clean on the day we arrived and beyond messy the next. The carpets on the hallways were dirty and somewhat smelly. The unit itself was very clean and the property manager was very responsive. It would’ve been nice for the parking fee to be included in the rental fee. We arrived very late and we could not find parking. Other than this, I highly recommend this rental.

The mattresses are extremely hard and the supplies are absolute minimal, too small towels per bathroom and an extremely hard mattress. Two pillows for bedroom. No extras anywhere. The worst part was how cheap the mattress was because you could easily invest a little bit more to get a mattress that you can actually sleep on and it won't hurt your side when you turn to the side. The property was clean although it was huge and there was only one door in and one door out so you had to walk really far to get to your unit. The apartment is definitely set up for renting, however, they should really try to invest a little bit more so that it's not painful to sleep on the mattresses.

Power was out for 24 hours and doors were unlocked because of the power I didn’t feel like my things were safe with no lock on door.
Under the sheets there was hair ties and used tissue.
I feel like I re used the same sheets because they were dirty.

We had a great stay. The rooms were clean & very spacious. Everyone was super helpful with the check in process & check out was super simple. Overall I think it’s a great place especially for larger families. The location is great too with it being a few minutes walk away from downtown Reno. Street parking was easy to find. Overall we my family had a good time here & we would definitely book again!

Nice 2 bedroom/2 bathroom mini apartment that had everything a hotel room has to offer plus a full kitchen including cookware & flatware if you decide to cook/eat in. This location is definitely an off-campus student living building, but it was mostly quiet with the exception of street noise since it is near Reno's gambling strip. The mattresses in both bedrooms are like what you would expect with a futon, but not too uncomfortable. Overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay. There is no guest parking (only for residents in underground garage since it is an off-campus student living building across I-80 from UNR), so you will need to find street parking which was free around the area. We would stay here again as it is a nice alternative to having a hotel room for about the same price as a mid-range hotel room.

I had an amazing stay with barsala at canyon flats. The apartment was huge and very easy to navigate. Great location and very good communication to make sure I was happy and comfortable. Will be back whenever I come to Reno!

It's a college dorm that rents out rooms. Which is fine, but just know that it is, first a foremost, a dorm. The room itself was fine. Much more spacious than a traditional hotel and bathrooms in every bedroom. No room issues (thin walls, but whatever). The hallway had vomit on the floor that was not cleaned up in the time during our stay, as did the hallway by the fitness center. But again, college dorm so not exactly surprising. Close walk to casinos and close to the freeway so the location is very convenient. We may stay again as, all things considered, the stay was fine and having the extra space when you travel with kids is worth some hallway vomit.

After we got in and settled, the actual room was very clean and quiet, though the amenities were what you’d expect in a dorm type of room. Two things - there should be onsite parking and that wasn’t offered. We did not know this in advance. It was quite a hassle for older adults to get luggage situated, parking on the very busy street to unload/load and having to park a block or more away. Even more important - despite being a clearly noted non- smoking facility, the hallways reeked of marijuana use in other rented rooms every time we entered and exited the building. Very disappointed about that. Part of the reason we chose Canyon Flat was to get away from smoke smell that is prevalent in the big hotels. Despite these considerations, the rented unit was a very pleasant alternative to the hotels in the area.

My stay at Canyon Flats was great! The rooms were very nice. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable bed and linens, large smart TV with all of the TV subscriptions, hot shower with nice hair and body wash products. I got everything I was looking for and more, including a place to play pool and other fun games, and a place to finish up some work. I had absolutely no issues during my stay, and Canyon Flats is my #1 choice for my next stay in Downtown Reno.

You can’t beat the price. The space was HUGE and you have a full kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer, iron/board, smart tv, game room, full gym with racks… the list goes on

This property is a great price point, provided you are willing to accept a few conditions...
The good: price point, full kitchen, clean property, great gym and other amenities-perfect place to stay if you want to visit Reno, cook your own meals and stay out of the Row or other casinos
The bad: parking! There is a garage, but its limited parking and it may not be available for your stay. If it is available pay the markup fee and get a slot...your car will be much safer and you will avoid the headache of parallel parking. It is a college apartment complex soooo on the weekends be prepared for wild college kid shenanigans often at odd hours - live with it or get a room in one of the casinos.
I loved my stay here, it's right across the highway from the college campus - literally a 15 min walk to the Joe/Library. It is right by the Circus casino so there is a lot of traffic and you may see a few homeless people wandering around - as a male this is no problem, as a female maybe different-be aware.
