Nestled in Miramar Beach, this charming house for $619 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Our beautiful home is completely updated with new floors, fresh paint, new lighting, and new comfortable furnishings. The home offers both front and back screened-in porches, with the back overlooking the water. A propane gas grill is included on the outside deck. The brand new beautiful pool is less than a 40 yard walk. Guests also have access to the Linkside Pool. This pool has a hot tub and is a short golf cart ride- about a mile from the house. Our one-story home is in the heart of the Sandestin Resort. We are in the center of everything- four golf courses, the tennis center, a marina with a restaurant, walking paths, fishing, shopping, and the beach- all within a 5 minute golf cart ride. Once you arrive you are close to everything Sandestin has to offer. Park your car and use the golf cart to get everywhere! The beach is also only a four minute golf cart ride. A very short three minute walk from our home you will find Jolee Island. There you can stroll with your dog, take the kids on a nature walk or even enjoy some fishing! At the marina you can rent boats, paddle boards, jet-skis, kayaks, or take a sunset dinner cruise. There is also a fabulous tennis center (0.4 miles away) featuring lighted clay courts, instruction, and a great pro shop. Baytown Village has tons of activities for the whole family including concerts, obstacle courses, zip line, playgrounds, shopping, bars and restaurants. Drive (3-4 min- designated golf cart tunnel that goes under HWY 98) Walk (~20 min) or Bike along a designated path to reach the pristine sands of the Gulf of Mexico. The resort features four award-winning golf courses, The Market Shops (10 restaurants, shopping, Publix Supermarket, Farmer’s Market (Summer months 9am-1 pm), IMAX movie theatre, and fitness center (located in Grand Blvd). Drive a bit further for a day of ultimate deep-sea fishing, outlet mall shopping, and more! The large screened-in porch is perfect for relaxing and enjoying your morning coffee or a nightcap, overlooking the resort lake. The master bedroom features a king bed and an en-suite full bath with new marble shower and also a unique extra outdoor shower. The second bedroom features two queen beds with full hall bath (tub/shower). All bedrooms and baths feature new linens and towels. Beach towels and beach chairs also provided.

Beautifully decorated, newly updated/modern, and in an adorable neighborhood within the Sandestin resort. Location, location, location! We really enjoyed being a 5 min ride to the beach with the golf cart, having access to the whole resort, a quick drive to the main Miramar strip and Destin. The golf cart was so convenient and fun to use. Hosts provided all your basic needs and more. The sunroom was our favorite spot in the house! This was our first time visiting the Gulf but certainly won’t be our last.

I really loved this cottage. Beds were very comfortable. Convenient location especially with the golf cart. It made it fun to go to Publix, Grand Boulevard, Baytown Wharf and the beach. Jim was great to work with. Pictures dont do this place justice.

We absolutely loved our stay and hated to leave. The house is adorable, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The golf cart made everything super easy to get to. Jim was a great host and answered all questions promptly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 11 day stay. This was our 28th year staying on the resort, however first time using Vrbo. Mr. Newman the owner of the property was great. He is very responsive to calls, questions and addressing concerns to the best of his ability. Overall the unit was nice, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed having access to the golf cart. We would have given a 5 star rating however a couple of things prevented this. The ice maker on the refrigerator did not work properly, the dishwasher was not well secured, so when we loaded it, we were concerned it may tilt over or cause flooding. The beautiful picture window was very dirty and the most disappointing thing was the view to the small pond off the back screened-in porch. It was littered with debris, stagnate water and with an ugly skim over it. I believe this to be more of a resort issue than owner. We would love to rent again if these issues are addressed.

We had an absolutely amazing time! The pond just outside the screened in porch was so relaxing. What a comfy home. The golf cart was so much fun and the home is located in the perfect spot to easily access heated pool, beach, shopping, restaurants, and village/music. Perfect!

We were so impressed with this vacation home! It provided the feeling of being in the comfort of a home in the middle of nature, but also being minutes from the beach. Additional effort was made by the owners to ensure complete comfort......soft bedding, lots of oversized throws, starter kits for the kitchen and bathroom, games, books, you name it. Being able to bring our pups was icing on the cake. Well actually, the golf cart was even more icing! We 100% recommend this vacation home, and will be returning to it. Lastly, the property manager/owner was extremely responsive and friendly, overall fantastic property!

We had a great stay. The home is beautiful, well kept and clean. The kitchen has all you’d need and there are even beach chairs and towels. We enjoyed using the golf cart to get to Baytowne and to the beach. Very short walk to the heated pool, too.

Our family, including our pups, enjoyed your home for our spring break vacation! The golf cart made sunset chasing convenient and fun! We enjoyed tennis, pickle ball, stand up paddle boarding, the ocean and the wonderful screened in porches! Thank you for allowing us to travel with our pups!

We recently stayed here with our daughter for her golf tournament at Burnt Pines within the resort. We also were graciously able to also bring along our corgi for the stay. Our furbaby loved to sit out on the screened porch and have cuddles on the swing which is almost right on top of the lake watching and patrolling the activity on the main sidewalk far across the lake. Special memory made when we went out for a quick walk and a giant bird (pelican/heron sized) hopped out of a bush and ran across the street. Needless to say his new mission was to sniff around for his new feathered friend for all future walks. There is a handy path only a few houses away to a small bridge over the lake shortcutting to the main sidewalks where there were ample pet waste disposal bins for convenience. The property was everything as listed plus more with the fine attention to detail and tasteful decorations. The pictures are great, but it is absolutely gorgeous and must only be appreciated in person. Truly felt at home and was an oasis during our busy itinerary. Everything was clean and comfortable and our daughter now never wants to stay in a hotel or cookie cutter condo again. The kitchen is equipped with almost everything you need and didn't know you needed. Location was perfect and so many gorgeous short walks for the family and the pup. The golf cart was also very handy when there was a shortage of carts at the resort courses for the tournaments, and also super convenient to take a speedy trip to grab a bite to eat. Blankets to snuggle up and enjoy the property were plentiful and much appreciated during a few unseasonably chilly days. The beds and sheets were so so comfortable and we felt very pampered. Checkin and checkout were seamless. Only con is that we did not want to leave!

My husband and I rented this home for a long weekend in January. The house was clean, comfortable and great location within Sandestin. The golf cart was accessible but we did not use it (too cold). Furnishings and mattress was comfortable and there was everything there to make our stay enjoyable.

Our family enjoyed our vacation in this home. It is located close to the pool, lots of fishing spots, and main resort activities. It's also just a short golf cart ride away from the beach, dining, or shopping. One of our favorite spots in the house was the screened in back porch! It was very cozy and relaxing.

The owner was very quick to respond to communication and the house was one of the best places we've stayed in Destin! It was obvious they took time to think about everything that a family would need for a home away from home! The beds were comfortable, the screened patio was amazing, and the kitchen was stocked perfectly! There was even everything we needed for the beach (towels, chairs., sand toys, and a beach cart) We will definitely be renting from them again! Thank you so much for opening up this home to us!

House is fully stocked! They even had beach chairs, umbrella and sand castle kit (my kids loved it)!! Close to everything, beds were very comfy!! Beach and bath towels were perfect! Furniture is so soft, my kids loved to snuggle with all the blanket throws! Thank you for the starter shampoo and body lotion, saved us a trip to the store! Easy check-in and out as well! Thank you for making our family trip, one to remember!

We rented the property for a family vacation for four (two adults and two children). The house was beautiful and very well appointed with all of the comforts of home - the golf cart was such a nice added convenience. Jim was a pleasure to work with - very responsive and flexible. Our pet sitter fell through at the last minute and there was no issue with us bringing our pups - even they had an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and spacious - very nice! We really enjoyed the screened in porch and it is in a great neighborhood and area. Great walking/running space. Loved having access to the golf cart to check out the things around. The beach was not as close as I had thought but that may just be my misunderstanding - it was still close enough to get to on the golf cart. Enjoyed our stay very much!!

I will start by saying that I have stayed in Sandestin many times starting when I was a kid. Last year was the first time we brought our children (10 and 5 year olds) to the resort. We had the best time and couldn’t wait to return. Unfortunately, this was the first time we were disappointed. The cottage is adorable! It is in a great location! However, The floors were not mopped - we could feel sand under our feet as soon as we arrived. My son’s feet were black from walking barefoot indoors. I took it upon myself to sweep the floors and found quite a bit of dog hair. The dog hair was also found on the furniture and in the bedding. I have a high standard for cleanliness, especially on vacation when it’s the last thing you want to worry about. We reached out to the owner and he was very kind and accommodating. He sent out someone to mop the floors and asked what else we needed done. Since we had already unpacked and were at the beach we asked that they just mop the floors. We could see a difference when we returned, however we never felt at ease staying there. It just didn’t feel clean. We found stains on the linens. The closets were messy. The title of the listing states “golf cart” included. When we received the instructions for check-in it stated that the golf cart was not included, but we could use the golf cart if available. Fortunately the golf cart WAS available, but it was in really bad shape. When we would turn corners the trim would rub against the tires. It also didn’t have turning signals and the plexiglass was impossible to see out of at night. We did not feel comfortable driving it very far which was disappointing. I don’t like leaving a bad review because I do feel that the owner is very attentive and more than willing to help.

The house is near Baytown Wharf and the shops on Grand. It is also close to two golf courses. We were there in January so it was too cold for the beach and hope to return next Fall. Jim was very responsive to any issues that arose during our stay and is a great host.
