Superb location, and lovely bright comfortable rooms. I wished we could have stayed longer. Restaurant was also some of the best food we found in Iceland.

Nice showers and family room. Loved the kitchen area where we could make meals!

We had the largest room with a magnificent view on the sea. The kitchen is well equipped.
The house, being old, is a bit noisy (in particular the parquet)

The location was great!
The double bed was two single bed platforms and mattresses pushed together, which is usually fine, but they were so lightweight the two parts migrated apart during the night, leaving a big crack for someone to fall into. Also, there was no way to get water out of the tap that was not dangerously scalding hot.

Nice location and a private bathroom was nice. The restaurant below was great (although reservations are recommended).
There were no blackout curtains, which was an issue for summer. There were also no breakfast options available.

Spacious room with own bathroom.
Shower cabin is broken and needs to be replaced

Cute place and close to a few restaurants so you don’t have to eat at theirs. The heater works really well. Flexible check in was good too.
On arrival the staff I talked with was rude to me (f) but kind to my boyfriend (m). On the description we were told we were getting a room with a private entrance and a hot tub, if you call a classic hotel room a private entrance I guess they’re right. But still no hot tub. The staff didn’t seem to really care about the homestay guests just the restaurant guests, breakfast was too expensive for us but that’s because we’re travelling on a budget. Also water smells of Sulfur.

Great location. It is right on the water and a short walk from the Settlement Center Museum. Krauma spa, the Cave, and many waterfalls are a short drive from the property. Full kitchen. Friendly and responsive hosts.

It was quiet and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were a bonus. The location was good, very close to the beach.
It was a shame that the restaurant was closed

Great location. The houses are very nice and the rooms were tastefully decorated.
I would have liked more electrical outlets. I had to unplug the lamp on the bed table to plug in my phone charger. I also wish there were more cloth hangers.

nothing. just a terrible experience
we arrived and the manager told us the toilet at our floor was broken, and we had to use the other one.
we entered the room and it was FREEZING. the heater were not working, and he didn’t manage the situation at all. we had to find another hotel at 9 pm, leave and loose our money .
Don’t go there, is miserable

I LOVEDDDD that my two friends and I could stay in the same room. AND THIS PLACE WAS WATERFRONT!! We saw the lights!!!!! Had the sweetest walk that night and in the morning before we left. The cafe nextdoor is like Santa's workshop. Incredible little stopover in such a cute town :)
I was super duper sad that restaurant was closed for the season. I guess it was par for the winter course but I wish I would've known :/

Great place, great people. I spent the whole Christmas here and it was a magical time. I had a fantastic room and felt right at home. I will definitely come back here.

Amazing place, our room was sooo big and beautiful. It was spotless clean and we were lucky enough to not share the place with too many people, which was perfect to use the bathroom. It's super close to the centre and easy to find. We loved the place
The only small issue was that the restaurant at the facility was closed due to renovations. It would have been great to know that beforehand

Check in was a bit bumpy because there wasn't anybody there. Also we got locked inside the room because of the lock, and the owners send someone to let us out.
