We were charmed by this beautiful ,spacious ,authentic Inn. Barb and Ken have saved a gem for those who enjoy old world architecture, this Inn is a marvel.
For some, there may be things that are unconventional in the accommodations . We were happy with everything, and at the price, the Ragged Edge Inn made our vacation special and reasonable.

We loved this bed and breakfast, the house and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay our room was comfortable and our hostess Barb was great. She made sure we had everything we needed and answered all our questions. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and filling. We had yogurt with fruit, coffee cake a giant slice of quiche. They have a special blend of a coffee just for their home, which we couldn't get enough of. It was a wonderful stay, but much too short. We hope to return again to stay in this beautiful home and visit with our new friend Barb.

This is an amazing historic 70,000 sq ft home that has been beautifully restored. Our room was spacious and up to modern standards. Our breakfast included a delicious cheese quiche. Very friendly owner who provided details of the history.

We had a crazy issue that could have interfered with our travel plans. We contacted the Inn owners and they came up with an alternative plan that was perfect. Fortunately everything worked out OK on our end and we arrived to such a warm welcome from our host. There was heron in the brook last night, and three deer on the back lawn this morning. (see my photo.) Now I'm having a lovely morning in the elegant sitting room, drinking my tea, listening to the birds sing and grandfather clock chime. In a word idyllic. (Extra shout out to Montezuma Mexican Restaurant in town. Some of the most flavorful Mexican food I've ever had.)

Architecture of the house was amazing. Woodwork was beautiful!! Exactly what we were looking for. A couple of days of relaxation. Breakfasts were great and the hosts were friendly and pleasant to talk to! We also liked the separate TV room/kitchenette separate from the bedroom. Wrap around porch was nice to look at the stream. Plenty of parking.
Advertisement explained about the train bridge/concrete pool "still existed." So, when we went to look for the bridge they were not there. They have either been torn down or on property that has been sold. Need to clarify on marketing web page.
We had the room with two queen beds. One bed had a dip or my wife and I rolled to the middle. The other bed was fine.

Beautiful, historic Inn with all the modern comforts. The Home itself is an architectural gem, and Ken and Barb keep everything in pristine condition, true to its original beauty and elegant charm. As a bonus, Barb could not have been more pleasant and personable and welcoming. This is a great place to stay and be comfortable while exploring the history of this gorgeous home/Inn
