Ok for a night or two

The situation - Walking distance to Austin center - Free Parking available -Check-in was easy and staff really friendly -

Breakfast - Coffee machine was not working but morning staff did not care - The hotel badly needs renovation - Outside is dirty - Pool was closed -

the beds were decently comfy. and the price point was great for what i was there for.

the room was a little run down. couple broken pieces of the floor boards and such.

I was satisfied and will stay there again when I come back to Austin.

The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. For the price, the location was great. On Fridays and Saturdays after 9:00 p.m., the "action" in downtown Austin is centered around 6th Street and is walkable from the motel. It's maybe a ten-minute walk at a reasonable pace. Breakfast was available at the motel and I was surprised at its completeness--the best I've seen since covid came through. On the downside, it IS on I-35 and I-35 is a busy road. It can get noisy, but overall, it isn't bad.

It could use a brighter light for reading. And I couldn't get onto the internet (which may have been the fault of my computer).

Location was pretty good, although if I went back to Austin I’d stay on the west side of the freeway.

Super friendly front staff helped check me in. Room was clean and spacious. Not very much noise, we both slept through the night. Amazing location. Super easy walk to 6th street but they also had scooters there. And free parking !!

Beds were a little firm. My partner enjoyed that but I love a soft bed

Simple & clean

Great location Great amentities Overall the place needs some TLC, but the beds were super comfy, everything was clean and the wifi worked great for working. They have all the amenities, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, iron hairdryer - ideal for a business event on the go. The pool was VERY clean and overall felt very safe and secure in the location. Breakfast was basic, but still variety in waffles with syrup, oats, cereals, yogurts, fruit, toast etc.

The reception staff were a bit unhelpful is basic questions - they weren't even able to show me where we were on the map :( Given the hotel structure, the curtains and windows are closed most of the time and can get stuffy - i recommend airing out the rooms at least once a day. No gluten-free options at breakfast.

genuinely dirty. hairs in the shower. not cleaned properly. staff were not friendly. felt dangerous when returning to the hotel at night

Exceptional

Honestly if I looked at the pics I would not have stayed. However once in the room or was great. Comfortable spacious and brilliant value for money

Really hard to beat this place's location.

Location, location, location. Hard to beat this place's location without spending a lot more money. I felt my room was clean and the bed comfortable-although I must admit I was quite tired when my head hit the pillow-speaking of pillows, there was a nice selection of them on each bed, from soft to firm.

I tried to tell them the coffee at breakfast was weak and not very hot-I couldn't see any steam coming up from the cup. I think they took care of the temperature but not the taste. I tried two little cups of whitener and two sugars, but that didn't help. I have had coffee at other motels, and I've never tasted anything as bad as theirs.

Left a $50 dollar deposit CASH did not get it back because we checked out at 11:45 and the system kept the deposit even though it WAS CASH.

Breakfast was OK. Waljing distance from capitol..not really

Room decor is worn and ugly. Bathroom was filthy and the toilet leaked so floor always wet.

Great

The location is great. We wanted something close to the 6th, and you can get there by walking (15 min).

The bathroom was so old. The shower had holes everywhere and the WC was not working really good.

Great location - you can reach downtown by foot

The location was awesome! We could see the Capitol from our window and walked over there, which was very nice! We didn't need to use our car or public transportation at all in Austin.

Pleasant

Everything was fine. Just expected much more for 150$ per night. I have stayed in Houston in twice better hotel for twice lower price.

I don't like the smell in the old hotels
