First time in Lisbon. Place is as advertised and more. Well stocked and clean. Location is good for the price an easy transit away from the busy main city center. Nice and quiet in the evening. Definitely recommend it for families or a friend getaway.

Clean, great location and great service. I would definitely stay here again either with friends or on family holiday.

Our property manager was very attentive to our needs. She promptly answered our questions and even arranged a van to the train station for us. The apartment was spacious for 5 adults and very clean. We were about a 20 minute walk from the waterfront with numerous outdoor cafes including a beer museum.

The apartment was immaculate and perfectly furnished. A nice selection of spices, oils and basic ingredients. The location was excellent for exploring interesting historical sites and parks. Across the street was a cafe with delicious croissants and other baked goods and delicious coffee.Two doors down was a great little grocery store with everything we needed, friendly owners, and the best oranges I’ve ever eaten. Loved this place and highly recommend it! Carolyn

Disclaimer: this review is being written from the perspective of a US citizen who lives in the suburbs. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the Martim Moniz metro station. This area is culturally very diverse. There are several grocery stores, mini marts and laundromats within walking distance (all about 1-10 min walk). Check-in was flawless. Susanna/Maria were very friendly and easy to work with. Our party of 4 adults found the apartment to be a little snug for our liking. There are two functioning toilets in the apartment which we found helpful. The listing says there are two showers but the second shower is incredibly narrow and very small. We deemed the second shower unusable. (However we found it useful to dry our clothes and hold our wet umbrellas). The full size bed in the main room and twin size beds in the second room appeared to be well worn IKEA beds. They squeaked loudly when turning over during sleep. From previous reviews we were prepared for the loud street noise at night. There is a hospital close to the apartment so it wasn’t uncommon or hear sirens at night. The kitchen has limited cooking utensils so if you’re hoping to cook a meal “at home” you may have to improvise. However there were plenty of plates/ glassware / silverware. I could recommend this apartment for a small group (4 or less people) who don’t mind sharing close quarters in the culturally diverse neighborhood of Martim Moniz.

The location of this property was great. The owner was very accommodating for us when we arrived in Lisbon very early.

We were a group of 4 so there was plenty of room inside. with comfy furnishings and all the amenities we could need, including dishwasher, washing machine, toaster and filter coffee maker. The outside balcony was sheltered really useful. You are located right next to the metro and major bus / tram routes so navigating the city is easy. Load of restaurtant and coffee shops in 5 mins walk. (try the oriental food centre when you want a change from Biffanas) There are a couple of supermarkets in 5 mins walk, I liked the Continente good selection of food and beer + excellent bakery products. The appartment is on a road thats a bit busier than expected, light sleepers might want to take ear plugs, though we have no problems. Appartement conforme aux photos , grand, très propre, très bien situé pour circuler à pieds tout au long du séjour. Le seul bémol à noter , les chambres sont situées côté rue il ne faut pas être sensible au bruit de la vie extérieur et de la circulation . Et la literie pourrait être meilleure. Merci encore pour cette jolie location .

Great communication with owner throughout including advice on getting to apartment and organising a late check in. Apartment was beautiful, spacious and very clean. It had everything you needed for your stay and we loved the outdoor space. It was in a quiet location with a great little local shop next door but only a short walk to Lisbon centre.

Susanna has a very spacious three floor walk up apartment with a modern kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. There is also a large eating table and sufficient living room space. A well stock Mercado food market was next door which came in handy. The apartment is within walking distance of a train station. My one suggestion is to provide a much needed book with directions for the TV and a list of local attractions. My cousin and I had a wonderful week at this apartment exploring the beauty and history of Lisboa. Nancy and Fran, USA

We were a party of 4 adults. The owner was quite helpful by arranging transport to and from the airport. The apt was clean and bright and the beds comfortable. The property was nice and roomy enough except we didn't care too much for the second bathroom was actually split in two with the sink and toilet in a very small space and the shower separate and was not big enough to actually shower in, we all had to use the one shower in the other bathroom. Only air conditioner was in the main area with the bedrooms at the other end of the hall so they got quite hot at night and with the windows open for a breeze there was a lot of traffic noise when trying to sleep so had to keep the window closed. The location is quite close to the tourist area to walk to but there were a lot of wholesale shops in the area of the apt and the restaurants close to the apt closed too early for us so we would eat before heading back each day. The little grocery store next to the property was a god send and the people running it are fantastic. They were so friendly and helpful, a real plus. If you do the hop on hop off bus pay the extra for the more expensive one, we took the cheaper one and were quite disappointed.

Nice apartment, ideal location, walked everywhere. Spotless. Good WiFi. Helpful hostess. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is minutes away from the metro, which makes travelling Lisbon very easy, whilst the surrounding area had plenty of things to do/see. The landlord was very responsive and helpful in everything asked of her, and was very kind to us during our stay. Would reccommend staying here for anyone looking for a stylish apartment to accommodate a medium sized group with good access to all areas of this fascinating capital city.

A business colleague and I enjoyed an excellent short stay. Apartment was well appointed and comfortable with decent sized bedrooms. Views were superb and it is located in a really charming part of Alfama with great access to bars, restaurants, shops etc. Would certainly visit again and thanks to the proprietors who were very accommodating at short notice.
