The apartment was perfect for our group of parents and three adult children. Marco, the host, was very communicative and met us at the apartment to show us around. The property is within walking distance to most everything you will want to visit in Rome.

We had a wonderful time in this exceptional home and location. We had everything we needed and the owner Marco was very responsive.

Close to all Rome attractions but the local area was outstanding. Walked to dinner every night. Safe, clean and felt like a neighborhood. The apartment and host were outstanding. Note the pictures of the flat are dark and are not at all what you get. I would book here again without question.

Great apartment, spacious, perfect location. Excellent communication and check in.

Apt was as described, it was large and 2 bathrooms were a plus as was the lift. Great location!

We were in Rome for the Ryder Cup golf tournament. This apartment was perfect for our needs. Most of the major Roman sights were an easy mile walk, including the metro station. Many reasonable food options available, even late at night. Even though there was a lot of activity on the street below (two restaurants are right outside the door to the apartment) the noise was reasonable and no issues sleeping. It was quite hot the week we were there and A/C worked well. Rooms are large. Marco was a great host and was able to accommodate our early arrival, and when we had an issue with the toilet, he fixed it immediately. We would definitely stay here again.

Marco was very helpful at checkin. Great location for what we wanted to see in Rome.

Spacious apartment with all essentials including air conditioning. The area is lively & full of interesting sights & experiences. Also close to all main sights, just across the Tiber. Marco was an attentive host.

Great location and space. The beds were comfy and the air conditioning was a nice escape from the heat in the middle of the day. Easy communication with the host and if we needed anything they were willing to help. Would stay again.

The apartment is in the heart of Trastevere. So many fine restaurants to choose from. 20-30 minute walk to most attractions. The air conditioning was effective in 1 of the 3 rooms. The other 2 were not as cool at 34 C outside. Overall a great stay.

We just left this spacious apartment. There was enough room for my husband and me and our 3 grown daughters. The apartment was clean, the air conditioner kept us comfortable, and the location was perfect for our stay. There are so many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood and we didn’t need reservations for anything. It was nice to take the bus to our daytime destinations and then come back, refresh and go out for dinner and drinks later without having to worry about transportation. I highly recommend this apartment and location.

When we booked this place as Rome Rookies, we had no idea how good it was! It's a big apartment located in the perfect historical neighborhood. We weren't aware before, but the neighborhood is on guided tours lol. There are restaurants and shops everywhere and you can walk almost everywhere in Rome.
Supermarket is fairly close and being American, we had to find some iced coffee and we found that down the street too (We think it was called Bocco Bistro, down the main street south and across).
And Marco and his cousin Giorgio are amazing. So informative and great. Stay here if you are going to Rome! We LOVED IT! Five stars!

The check-in process was very easy and welcoming! Thank goodness for the elevator and the air conditioning. Total bonus in this heat wave! The host was very responsive to any concerns we had, and also recommendations for places to eat. The property was very clean and had a washing machine that was much needed with our family of five. Perfect place across the way to grab our coffee and some pastries! We highly recommend staying here!

We were very happy with our Trastevere rental and would definitely recommend staying there. The neighborhood is lively every night with restaurants on every corner. There's a convenient taxi stand nearby as well as a bus stop. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are extremely spacious (the third one is plenty big) and the air conditioning worked well. My husband and I stayed in the largest room which overlooks the busy courtyard that has 4 restaurants and we did not hear any noise at all with the windows shut. The elevator is very handy - some of us took stairs and some used elevator each time since it couldn't fit all 4 of us. We highly recommend the restaurant that is in the building - Ai Bozzi (go to your left as you step out the door) for a delicious higher-end meal. The service and food were both fantastic. I wouldn't recommend the other restaurant that is to your right (Ristorante Carlo Menta). The food was disappointing and service was not friendly.

Great location, everything you need, lots of room for a family of 4.

This apartment is perfectly located in Trastevere and within easy walking distance to the heart of Rome. We travelled with college and high school kids and they loved the neighborhood. The apartment was big enough to allow us all our own space and still had some common space to enjoy together. It was clean and easy to get to. Marco is a thoughtful and responsive host. Next time we’re in Rome we hope to be able to book here again!

Marco was responsive and there in five minutes when we let him know we had arrived. Apartment is within walking distance to so much, and a taxi and bus stop are right beside so it’s extremely convenient to get around. We would stay again. Recommend jt.

The apartment was just what we needed for our stay. Very well equipped. I was able to communicate with Marco via email and he was quick to reply. The Trastevere neighborhood was a revelation--loads of good restaurants and fun to walk about. The only problem was restaurants in the area dumping their bottles in the dumpster early in the morning. It got noisy sometimes. But I would stay here again if I get the chance.

Everything went perfectly. The owners helped whenever asked, the area,Trestevere is great, lots of restaurants and shops. Could not have asked for more.
3.0
It was spacious and we appreciated the elevator. If you're looking for a quiet place, this is not it. The beds had no top sheets and the comforters were too hot. The host would communicate only thru VRBO and this was inconvenient. There were no dish towels nor paper towels. The location was near to good restaurants.

This is a large apartment with three big bedrooms and two bathrooms. So nice
For some privacy and relaxing. Nearly in view of the Tiber and a short walk to the Roman forum and Pantheon across the bridge. Many lovely choices for meals and big grocery. Go farther into Trastevere for even more markets and coffee bars. We enjoyed this stay and the host was very nice.

Marco the owner was very helpful and could easily be reached. He let us check in a few hours early. Which was greatly appreciated.tThe apartment was perfect for us as everyone had their own bedroom and two bathrooms a plus. Located in a very lively square and we could walk into central Rome in about 20 minutes.
The restaurants in Trastevere were wonderful.

We spent 11 nights at Marco's apartment at the end of our five week vacation. The rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished and the building is well maintained. The kitchen and bathrooms are quite modern and clean. We cooked at least half a dozen meals during our time there, and the kitchen is comfortable and well equipped. You have to love the neighborhood of trastevere. It's very vibrant and always bustling with happy people having a good time. Because the apartment is on the third floor, the street noise didn't bother us at all. And the elevator made it easy even for older folks like us. We typically walked down the stairs and then came back up on the elevator just to save ourselves for all the walking we did around Rome. And just about everything is walking distance from this apartment. Marco was a great host, easy to communicate with and very responsive to our questions. One thing to note the only television is in the largest bedroom at the front of the apartment. We were two couples traveling together and it didn't bother us to share that room for the few times that we actually watched tv. The rest of the time we were either out of the apartment or would sit in the small living area and read and converse. My husband and I would gladly recommend this apartment.

The place was great with plenty of space for all of us. Three bedrooms worked great for the three of us. Marco was great, fast responses even helped arrange a ride to the airport on departure. I hope to go back to Rome again and would recommend this place to all.

Stop looking and book this place if available especially if you are a foodie. Centrally located to reach all of the major sights. The Vatican was the furthest away and was able to walk there in half an hour with a disabled person in an electric mobility scooter. Restaurants abound in this vibrant neighborhood with the best food we had while there downstairs at Ai Bozzi (Carlo Menta next door economical and good). Do try the caramel gelato at Ai Bozzi because it’s the best dessert I have ever had! The apartment is strictly a rental unit and is very basic with no homey touches. The pictures and information for this unit need to be updated. All 3 bedrooms now have queen size beds and the whole apartment is so much brighter and welcoming than the pictures posted. Only the bedrooms have AC but the units were powerful enough to cool things down and we were very comfortable. The second bathroom is small and between the five of us no one ever used the the shower in that one but it was nice to have an extra toilet and sink. The sun shower in the main bathroom was very nice. Cafes, wine bars, gelato places (Otaleg and Gelateria del Vial…couldn’t decide which one was best), ATM’s, grocery stores, pharmacies, buses, taxis etc. are all around you. For those who may be traveling with a disabled person be aware that the elevator is very small. We were able to fit, on separate occasions, a folded wheelchair plus a rented electric mobility scooter (seat and battery taken off with handle folded down standing upright) onto the elevator. A wheelchair with a person in it will not fit. Room for improvement… 1)Placement of TV in sitting area instead of master bedroom 2)Sufficient supply of toilet paper and dish detergent. We were there with varying numbers of people for 10days and barely had enough essentials for 7 days. Be sure to explore streets that are off the beaten path to discover hidden treasures and be sure to find Bar San Calisto to sit alongside the locals while having a 1 euro cup of cappuccino. Thanks Marco for the early check in it was greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay here again. Book it!

Marco’s place in Trastevere was perfectly located for our stay in Rome. My son and I stayed at his place for 6 nights during one of the hottest week in Rome, and we were very comfortable there..Marco’s place has 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one large and one small), a kitchen with a washer. The aircons are only located in the bedrooms, but we were comfortable throughout the entire house during our stay, which was in the mid 90 degrees Fahrenheit the entire time. We walked everywhere in Rome from his place, even to the Vatican , which was the farthest away. We ate most of our meals in Trastevere. Our favorite restaurant was the one downstairs on the right as you enter his apartment. Trastevere is a lively place and Marco’s apartment is located in a fun plaza with restaurants, shops, and merchants selling goods nearby. There is a taxi stand nearby where you can catch a taxi if you wish. Taxi fare costs 50 euro fixed price to and from airport, we paid about 8 euros to the train station in Termini and 7 or 8 euros to the Vatican. I highly recommend Marco’s place. Everything about his place was perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable and the windows blocked out all the noises like previous guests mentioned. The only thing I would add is for Marco to have more bowls and mugs in the kitchen and an iron board. Marco is a great host. Thank you Marco for sharing your lovely place with us.

The location is absolutely perfect. Great restaurants a stone throw from the apt. It’s within walking distance to all major attractions but nice being just across the river in a more relaxed and quaint area. The apartment is huge. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds and lots of room. Well equipped kitchen, good shower and everything was very clean. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice.

A great spot in Rome
Trastevere is a very charming neighborhood, ideal for a stay in Rome. It's away from the most crowded tourist sites, and feels more residential. There are many restaurants all over the neighborhood, several of which we enjoyed! People hang out at the tables in the square outside the apartment until late, but the windows are well-insulated, so if they are closed you don't hear the noise.
Rome is a big city, but if you are up for walking, it's possible to walk to many of the major sites in Rome from the apartment. We walked (Rick Steve's heart of Rome Tour) to several sites on the way to the Pantheon, Trevi Foutain and the spanish Steps. But when were done, we got a taxi home. We took a taxi to the Vatican one morning. One afternoon, we walked home from the Collosseum, though the Jewish Ghetto (again, making a tour of it), Isle Tibera, and to Trastevere and it was very manageable, but we had not done an extreme amount of walking that day. On the days we had done a lot of walking already, we preferred to call a taxi to get us back to the apartment. Taxis were easy to summon with ITTaxi app.
The aparment is generous in size and very cool! There is a small sitting area in the entry, a very large bedroom, a medium bedroom and a smaller bedroom. My 2 sons were happy to each have their own room and queen sized bed. The bathroom was a highlight; I loved the showerhead, sprayer, and large window. I heard churchbells through the window every day. The beds were comfortable. So glad there was a/c in the bedrooms because there was a major heatwave during our visit. The kitchen had most of what we needed. A colder fridge, would be a good improvement. It would have also been helpful to have hot pads in the kitchen for picking up hot pots.
Marco was helpful before and during our visit to give us advice about taxis and trains. Overall, I am glad I chose this apartment and would stay there again. The location was ideal, and the generous space was great for resting and spreading out after a long day of touring.

Amazing
What an amazing experience. The property was very clean and its location is perfect. We were in walking distance from all the tourists places. There are so many restaurants in the neighborhood. Marco, the apartment owner, was so tentative and welcoming. I highly recommend tis property. Actually, I am planning on going to Rome again and staying there.

Great space in a great location
Plenty of space, fun location. Lots of street noise at night but the windows are good so it didn't keep us up. Marco was very helpful. He allowed us to store our luggage there before it was ready for check-in and also arranged our ride to the airport for us.

The location is perfect, right where all the best restaurants are. The apartment has everything we needed. AC in the bedrooms and even though it’s in a busy square it’s very quiet when the windows are closed. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Fantastic Roman Adventure
My friend and I loved everything about this apartment and Trastevere. This apartment was comfortable and clean. Marco was very helpful throughout our 3-night stay. We enjoyed two lovely dinners at the restaurant just below the apartment. We would love to return someday soon!
