Location was very close to two metro stations, grocery store, and other food markets. Host met us in person to help locate the apartment and showed us around. Only downside was the apartment needed some cleaning attention as we found some dirty dishes in the cabinet and trash under the beds. We attempted to send a message about check out and never heard back.

A great area with a lot of shops, restaurants and traffic infrastructure. The philharmony is in walking distance - try to get a last minute ticket! (We succeeded). If you like to cycle: bring your helmet and log into the fantastic Vélib' system to explore the city. Absolutely great is the route next to the canal.
The apartment is absolutely clean and very comfy. Good mattresses, spacious interior and a lot of equipment in the kitchen. The landlord is great: very helpful and reliable. We will definitely come back!!!

Nice, quiet apartment, close to metro station and good shopping. Happy to stay there for my next getaway.

Lovely apartment that is bigger than the photos suggest. Great location near the metro and host was very accommodating.

The 4 of us had a wonderful stay in Paris with Ninh. The apartment was just perfect for us. It's 5 stops on the metro from Gare du Nord (Eurostar), half way between Ourcq and Laumiere stops on line 5.
We stayed in August and the heat was a bit tough to deal with for a few days, but that's common for lots of accommodation in Paris. Ninh was very kind and generous with us. With young kids, the apartment was great. Thank you Ninh.

Thanks Ninh for your great apartment. The 19th arrondissement is less touristy and a more authentic Paris experience. We found the locals and shopkeepers to be very friendly, access to the metro is easy and plenty of shops and food options around.
Highly recommended.

This was our first stop on our month long European adventure. Ninh Vu is an excellent host. Very responsive and easy to communicate with. The apartment had everything it said and everything we needed. The Monoprix across the street is a big plus. I went three times one morning because I kept forgetting things.

Ninh has been very helpful and made the process easier from start to finish. Place is clean and has great access to metro stations. Plenty of great food and boulangeries near by. Overall a great experience.

Mr. Vu is an excellent host. He explained the apartment and surrounding area well. He was very patient with my very marginal French language skills. The apartment was a nice size for myself and my two teens. Close to Lumiere Metro station. @ 30 minutes from the major Parisian tourist attractions. The Metro trains run every 2-3 minutes on average; RER trains also run frequently. There is a very good bakery about two blocks away on Rue de Meaux, and a good creperie is nearby as well.
If you think you're going to use the washing machine, make sure to ask for a tutorial as French washing machines are VERY different than those in the United States and there's a definite learning curve.
Regarding the 19th arrondissement, one might see some reviews of the 19th as 'bad' or 'unsafe'. I never felt unsafe in this neighborhood in the 19th arr. Can't speak to other neighborhoods in the 19th. It strikes me as being an eclectic mix of young people and immigrants. Definitely not as touristy as other areas, and to us, that was a good thing. There's much more to Paris than the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.
I recommend this apartment and this host.

The apartment was very clean, and the owner was very friendly. Even though it was quite hot while we were in Paris, the apartment stayed comfortably cool. It is a quick metro ride to Gare du Nord from which you can get almost anywhere in the city. Would recommend this affordable apartment!

The place was good for just two days. A little longer with four adults would be too much as it is a little small. Ninh was great as we arrived really late at night and left early in the morning location is right by a grocery store and the metro.

We stayed here for 3 nights in June with our 2 small children. The apartment is well located close to lots of shops, restaurants and the Metro line. There is also the canal nearby with lots of restaurants, activities and the science museum.
The host was so helpful and gave my husband a ride to the hospital when we asked him. Communication was great.
The apartment was clean and spacious with everything we needed for our stay.
We would definitely recommend this property for a Paris break!

The bathroom had such a strong mildew and sewer smell. There was mildew in the shower and on the walls. The towels were the size of hand towels, were extremely rough and smelled awful! The property had thick dust on the pictures and in the corners of the floor. There were cobwebs in the kitchen and hallway. The fridge was filthy. There was chocolate sauce on the fridge door handle, crumbs and mildew inside and a lovely pubic hair in the door shelf. Gross. The washer didn’t work properly and ruined a pair of pants. It was infested with ants.
I’ve stayed at many VRBO’s and this is by far the worst place. I understand wear and tear of an old building but this was unacceptable. The host wasn’t responsive to our concerns about the ants. Stay away!!!

Well-equipped apartment; grocery store, pharmacy, cafes nearby. Not necessarily suitable for someone my age as it’s 3 floors up (called second floor in France). Would be great for younger people and families.

This apartment was a wonderful home for my husband and I during our week in Paris. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and in a fascinating neighbourhood with reasonably priced restaurants and close to the metro. Our host was gracious and kind. I
Would stay there again.

We enjoyed staying at this apartment. As a family of four, our girls liked having their own space and bunk beds. The apartment is on a busy street but is relatively quiet for sleeping. The owner was very kind and allowed us to drop off our luggage early. There is a large Monoprix across the street where we purchased most of our groceries. Getting into “touristy” Paris was very easy using the Laumiere metro stop. We had a great week and although we were concerned about the protests and strikes we had no issues whatsoever. Thank you again!

We had a nice stay at this VRBO. Communication with Ninh was quick and easy. There are two metro stops within a ~5 minute walk. It does take about 30 minutes to get into the heart of Paris, so on long days exploring Paris, it would have been nicer to be a bit closer. It was also nicer to spread out a bit more than if the location was closer to downtown Paris for our family of 4. One of the best parts of the stay was having one of the best bakeries (visited about a half dozen) that I visited within walking distance, La Flûte De Meaux. I got croissants and varies pasties everyday and wish I could have tried all of them as they were all delicious. Pastries are so inexpensive in Paris compared to the US. There were lines usually in the morning and evening for their breads. The one thing that Ninh could improve upon is having a bit more coordinating sets of towels/linens, but that is very minor. Lastly, it was nice not having a page of instructions that you have to do before checking out like in the US. Overall, would recommend this VRBO.

Stayed with family of 4 (kids aged 10 and 8). The host was very helpful. The location was around half an hour Metro ride from the Eiffel tower. There is a Metro station on the same street as the appartment only 2 minutes walk away. We arranged parking with the host as we had driven from the UK. The parking was across the road from the apartment, a short walk away. This was pre arranged and at an additional cost. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was fantastically located with plenty of places to get dinner and a grocery shop just across the road. The metro line is just a short walk. Ninh was so lovely and welcoming. He helped us get our heavy bags up to the apartment and then again down and into a taxi when we were leaving. We had to call him as water was coming out of a light during our stay and he rushed over to get it fixed and even brought our kids a little gift each. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this apartment for four nights during November 2022. Ninh met us upon arrival and provided us with all the required information - even assisted us with our luggage. The apartment was exactly as pictured. The neighborhood is all in all good considering the security to get inside. There were some “sketchy” individuals outside the Laumiere metro stop, but no one bothered us. We loved the convenience of having a Monoprix Supermarket right across the street (with some English speaking personnel) and ate twice at Santa Monica Italian Restaurant just a couple of blocks passed the Ourcq metro stop. The food was very good and the prices are reasonable. But, the icing on the cake was when Ninh offered to take us to the airport for a reasonable fee since on the day we were returning to the states there was a transportation strike. We would had missed our flight if Ninh wouldn’t had offered.
The only two things Ninh needs to change are to put soap in the bathroom (we had to go to Monoprix on the evening we arrived to get some), and to add fabric softener to the towels. Otherwise, I highly recommend this apartment and it’s owner, Ninh!!!
