Situated in Austin, this attractive house for $236 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Eleven Oaks Suite is located in a downtown Austin home that has both city and state historical designation. Your hosts, who live on the premises, are homeowners Ted Siff and Janelle Buchanan. The original part of the house was built in 1858 by Edward Clark, who was Texas’ lieutenant governor under Sam Houston and, briefly, governor. Your suite has a private entrance and a designated parking space in the rear of the property. Entrance is through a locked gate into the back yard. Your suite is comprised of a bedroom with a queen sized bed, television, writing desk, closet with plenty of hanging space, full-length mirror and small chest of drawers; a bathroom with shower; and a kitchen with a table and two chairs, dishes, glasses and utensils, a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and Keurig single-serve coffee maker. A small patio is outside your kitchen door, with a table and chairs. Clothing hangers, a hair dryer, coffee, tea and a variety of sweeteners are provided. It is small but very cute and quaint. We appreciated and enjoyed the artistic decor of the suite. We felt that we were staying in a mini museum. Great communication and thoughtfulness from the hosts.

This place was a perfect spot for weekend getaway in Austin. I traveled solo and the house was a good fit as I didn't need an entire kitchen. The location is perfect for heading out the door and walking Austin. The backyard has beautiful trees to gaze at while sipping on coffee on the patio. The historic home and neighborhood are beautiful. I felt very safe. I’ll be back .

The suite is so lovely, you feel at home immediately. It's exactly as it's represented in the pics. Beautiful and quiet neighbourhood, yet so conveniently located to the city's entertainment. Ted and Janelle communicate exceptionally well, and are a delight to deal with.

Loved the location. We walked everywhere. Really got to see Austin on foot. The hosts were very accommodating, and communicated promptly. I highly recommend this lovely little place.

Quaint and cozy property. Perfect for a little couples getaway. Only complaint is there was cat hair on the bed, but we’re cat owners so it wasn’t too big of a deal. We’d be happy to stay here again!

We enjoyed the Texas decor & downtown location. Very quiet though. Uber to 6th street is easy & cheap. Was surprised no AC thermostat but we were always comfortable in spite of heat wave. Lots of books! Loved that too. The oaks overhead & birds were a treat.

My wife and I stayed at 11 Oaks and it was wonderful. The location is ideal if you want to walk and explore the city. Most things are in walking distance. We enjoyed the historic aspect of the home and the coziness of it. The place was clean and very accommodating. We will definitely book it again. Hosts were very kind. Courtyard was beautiful too!!!

We loved our stay here! It was in a great location..walking distances to some places or just a short Uber right around $5 to popular spots. It was clean and comfortable. We loved the little outside area. Check-in was seamless and great communication when needed. Would stay again!!

We enjoyed this lovely little suite that allowed us the ability to walk to enjoy the area. The suite was comfortable, well equipped and met all of our needs. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space.

If you have 2 people looking for a perfect spot to stay while in Austin, this is it! The property is located in a secure spot surrounded by beautiful trees and a courtyard. You wouldn’t even realize that you are in the city. Owners were great to communicate with leading up to my stay. Everything is in walking distance. Can’t wait to come back to this gem.

It was clean and had a great patio space in front. A little further from downtown than I would have liked but we just used uber. There are 2 sets of stairs (only 2 steps each) but I’m a tripper so keep that in mind.

We liked the property and it was nicely located for our needs. We walked and used the excellent Austin bus service. We felt safe. My only regret is that the lighting inside the unit could be a bit brighter. Otherwise it was an almost 5 star experience.

Everything was as advertised! The room had all the basics and necessities. I had a long flight in and was not thinking clearly, so it took me a minute to figure out we needed to enter from the back alley - no entry from 11th street. One thing I didn't see noted in other reviews is that you can smell whatever anyone is cooking in the main house. Not a dealbreaker but something to be aware of if anyone browsing is sensitive to food smells. I'm glad we found this place for our short stay.

This was the perfect little place for my hubby and me during our stay in Austin. Ted was immediately responsive when we needed something fixed. The courtyard is lovely and relaxing. Short walk to 6th street, short walk to a Phoebe’s diner for great breakfast. A guide to some great Austin places was provided by the hosts. I would definitely stay here again. I really loved it and can’t recommend it enough!

As we visited Austin during a record breaking heat wave, it was always relaxing (and cool) to come back to Eleven Oaks Suite after a visit out and about. We didn't have the pleasure to meet Ted, although he was extremely quick to respond to any questions and /or requests. We were very fortunate to meet and chat with Janellle - she was very attentive to any requests, friendly and non intrusive. Thanks for adding to our great Austin experience Janelle! This location provides easy access whether by foot or car to all places visitors to Austin would like to see. Because we didn't know at first whether we'd need a rental car, it was the best decision for us as the 40 degree temperature would have perhaps bit challenging. There is an excellent suggestion book in the suite. Overall, a beautiful suite to stay in when in Austin. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to return if ever back in Austin. Pauline & Todd PS_If your'e wondering if Franklin's is worth the wait, we lined up at 7am and yes, it was totally worthwhile in our opinion - lives up to the hype! Go see the bats!

This property is perfect for a visit to Austin. It was exactly as depicted and even more spacious than I expected. The onsite parking was a huge benefit as the property is very close to the UT-Austin campus and the state capitol building. The shade trees and beautiful courtyard were delightful. The check-in and check-out systems were easy to understand and worked flawlessly. I highly recommend this property for a single occupant or a couple. Hope to return soon!

This apartment was ideal for the 2 of us and perfectly located to lots of exciting things to see and do. The apartment was super clean and the bed was really comfy and the location was the best. Phoebe's diner was just 2 blocks away so perfect for walking to breakfast in the morning. Loved our stay here and Ted our host was great. Thanks Ted !
