Situated in Florida City, this charming house for $290 per night is a great choice for your next break. Cozy family townhouse in a great location in Homestead, FL. Close distance from the Everglades National Park, Florida Keys, Biscayne National Park, Homestead Bayfront Park, and Homestead/Miami Speedway. Basic amenities have been provided including fresh towels and bathroom supplies, such soap, shampoo/conditioner and toilet paper. You also have full access to our washer and dryer if you need to do laundry. You will need to bring your laundry detergent. Our kitchen is at your disposal. Feel free to use our cooking ware, utensils, and appliances as needed. We have plenty of storage space available for groceries. Please put your dishes in the dishwasher after use. Our home is a non-smoking environment. Do not smoke outside or in front of the house. We like to ensure the house smells fresh at all time. If you need to smoke, please do so outside away from property. Failing to follow this rule will result in loss security deposit and extra cleaning costs to remove smoke odors. We have a STRICT NO PETS POLICY. If you arrive with a pet, you will be required to leave w/o a refund and might incurred extra cleaning costs. If the owner had the same consideration for her guests as she does for the high standards of her rental, this experience would not have been a nightmare. Two of our group own multiple VRBO units on the West Coast and all of us are experienced and respectful renters. This particular rental was no exception: We signed the contract & paid in full in February for an April two-night rental. Several days ahead, I started monitoring my email & text messages for instructions on how to access the unit. No communications. On day the rental was to begin, I finally called her at 4:30 pm (check-in after 4 pm) and left a voice mail that we were on our way to the unit, please advise how to access it. Also left a text message. We wanted to stop and shop for dinner but decided against it as we weren't sure we even HAD a rental. We finally arrived an hour or so later, tired, hungry, anxious, and STILL had heard nothing from Silvia. I called again at 5:45 pm and said we were standing at the front door & to PLEASE ADVISE US IMMEDIATELY! It was only then that she instantly gave us the access code for the lock. She may have her reasons for guarding the code so closely, but there is absolutely no excuse for not telling us ahead of time that was her plan. There was no reason not to communicate clearly with us. Her voice mail greeting was in Spanish, which we don't speak, so we don't know if she had instructions there. Her behavior was totally unprofessional and what's worse - she never apologized or offered any kind of explanation for dragging us around like that. As for the unit itself, it was nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were ok. Living room was quite comfortable. Her rules were very strict & we observed them to the letter. But her disrespect for her guests and their right to clear instructions for a stress-free arrival (for all parties) ruined this experience for us. Would NOT RECOMMEND unless access issues are resolved PRIOR TO arrival.

The layout of the property is great and the interior is bright and cheery ! Silvia provides a friendly touch with local information packets & tour guide information. We appreciated the incidentals she provided as well including bottled water, toiletries and kitchen necessities. The backyard seating , patio area is a nice place too .

Our family of six stayed here and was able to visit places in Miami, the Everglades, Robert is Here, and locations along the upper and middle keys! We were able to walk over to the park with a great little playground and walking paths, too! Our host was kind, helpful, and there were so many helpful resources for area attractions in the home. We loved the beach-theming and the home was clean, a lovely neighbor, and the most adorable little ducks 🦆 who made us feel right at home! 🤣 We would definitely return! Thank you, Silvia, for a wonderful home-away-from-home! ♥️🌻

Great home in a quiet neighborhood!

This was a perfect base for our exploring the Everglades! We got to the property late at night and arrived to a welcome committee of Muscovy ducks on the lawn, settled in the evening. The neighborhood is as quiet as that would suggest, the ducks were good company in the front yard, and the propert is close to restaurants. The townhome was spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfy we slept like rocks. The property owner was responsive to all my questions too. We were super-happy with our stay at this lovely townhome!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house while we were visiting Everglades National Park! It was very close to the park entrance and was also close to numerous dining and shopping centers (Publix grocery store, Walmart, Walgreens, etc.). It is very clear that the owner cares about the rental and her guest’s experience there. She has a well stocked home and we had everything we needed for staying there six nights (we cooked our dinners there every night). It was a very comfortable stay. The furniture and bed was in very good condition and comfortable. The owner was always prompt in getting back to me through VRBO about any question or issue that came up. The only complaint that I have (and there is nothing the owner can do about this) is that there are several wild ducks that like to spend the night in the area and on a couple of mornings I found a couple of them standing on my car. They pooped on my car, but there is a hose in the front yard that was available to wash it off. There was no damage done to the car, but it was a small inconvenience. Again, the owner had nothing to do with this and it is just something that happens when you have a house so close to wildlife. I would definitely recommend this vacation house to anyone.

This was the first time we have done this as usually we stay at hotels, but they have priced themselves out so we most likely could not afford to do a vacation like this. I think in the future when we look to go to National Parks and such for multiple days we will look for this kind of setup. The property was outstanding in all aspects. Silvia was most responsive whenever I had a question. Overall an outstanding experience.

We enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable, the outdoor area was wonderful to relax in, the kitchen had most of the items you would need, the shower had good pressure (difficult to turn the knob on though). It was not as sparkling clean as other reviewers have stated. There was makeup and hair on the ledge of the window in the master bedroom and the filter of the air intake above the door when you walk in was full of dust. But overall, it was pretty clean. We would recommend staying here.

Rental property is just as pictured. Neighbors and neighborhood very quiet. Rarely heard anything outside. Nice park 2 blocks away with walking trials through the neighborhood. Never felt unsafe. Walmart, Aldi, restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes. Needed to contact the owner a couple of times and always got a quick response. Owner recommended several places to eat and activities to enjoy in the area. Easy access to Miami, Everglades, couple of hours to Key West. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the area.

I would recommend this property. Everything was as expected on our stay. Very quiet neighborhood. 45 minutes north of Key Largo if fishing is something your looking for.
