With exquisite gardens and only an 8 minute walk to Leura Mall, Maplewood is a Blue Mountains classic that’s located in one of Leura’s most exclusive and quiet streets. Originally built in 1908 and expanded in the early 2000s, Maplewood’s architect-owner recently renovated this elegantly furnished and luxurious home-away-from-home. An entertainer’s delight, Maplewood has a magnificent open-plan-kitchen-dining-area crowned by a signature, hand-crafted solid timber table that comfortably sits 12. The real jewel of the house is a spacious lounge room with a traditional, ornamental ceiling and a central fireplace that’s gorgeous and welcoming in any season. Maplewood’s established trees, sunlit north-facing veranda and mature gardens stretch to the reserve at the back of the property, giving guests no less than five secluded outdoor areas to dine, relax or socialise. Able to accommodate up to 10 guests, the house has five large bedrooms, a sunny TV room and a private studio. Enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival, along with our hotel quality Sheridan towels and linen, Metis skin products and Madison mattresses for a guaranteed good night’s sleep. Maplewood house was everything we expected. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need, plenty of firewood provided for the fireplaces, the beds were really comfy, even had electric blankets for those super cold nights. We would definitely stay there again.

Robert was very helpful and generous with great communication. We loved the place. The kids loved the cubby house and yard. Plenty of firewood and a great fireplace. A big house with great kitchen and equipment. The location was perfect for numerous bushwalking and it was close to town. Thanks Robert!

We had a great time at Maplewood House. Perfect location to leave the car and walk everywhere (shops, train station, museum, great lookout) or take the Blue Mountains bus.
