Pool was closed. Gym was closed for renovation. Inhouse menu is limited.
Restaurant closed. This is a very different hotel post covid.

Bom espaço, boas camas e muitos espelhos.
Limpeza não era eficiente como outros hotéis 5 estrelas.
Cobravam Wi-Fi, carissimo, um valor descabido para um serviço que nunca vi cobrar a parte em nenhum lugar do mundo, estamos em 2023… até na rua tem Wi-Fi grátis.
Nas imagens do quanto que comprei e na descrição tinha banheira e na acomodação não tinha.

Funcionários fez uma paralisação e gritavam e batiam panelas Oq não me deixou dormir. Gerente abateu 100 dólares do nosso consumo pelo incômodo. Mas não pude dormir.

The location of the property and very good, possibly one in one of the best areas in LA and the rooms were nicely decorated.
I booked this hotel for my self and my 2 teenage children. The room had to have 2 double beds, however after they checked-in the 3 of us, they gave us the key card for a room that had just 2 single beds. I called the reception and they told me that the hotel room can only accomdate 2 guests. When I explained we booked for 3 and paid for 3, she just said that the management will call us. The manager, James, come to the room and went full defensive and told us that it was our fault as we should have booked direct and not through booking.com, and that booking.com made a mistake in the listing and we should take it out with booking.com. We then showed him the listing and incredibly, he stated that they have no control on what booking.com advertises, which is a big fat lie. He then changed version and said that the room is correct as a double bed in America is the size of a single bed and it was my responsibility as a guest to verify the size of a double bed in America. So in America it seems that everything is big and oversized, except a double bed, as a double bed is in fact a single bed. After a lot of hassle, they changed us the room to one with a yard but same beds and gave us some friut to apologize but for me there is no sense of care and hospitality in this hotel. I ending sleeping on the floor because they would not give us an extra bed as they said it was a fire hazard, so it is okay to sleep on the floor but not on a foldable bed. Blaming the guest because he booked through booking.com and telling the guest that as a hotel, they have no control on the listing is unacceptable. We travelled all around America, this year, and hospitality in this country was top everywhere we went, however in this hotel, hospitality and the sense of care and respect for the guest was inexistent, at least for us.

Saw charges on cc that I didn’t make, very difficult close to impossible to reach the hotel staff on the phone. Very odd.

La limpieza terrible , el lugar es bastante viejo y descuidado, los baños realizaban una limpieza superficial. Todo el pasillo que lleva a las habitaciones es oscuro viejo con un olor a moho y lleno de manchas , lo mismo en las alfombras de las habitaciones. Las sábanas parece que no las cambian de huesped a huesped me llego con una mancha que espero sea de café , y la misma sábana no la cambiaron durante dos dias de una estancia de 4. Terrible lugar , lo que se ve en las fotos parece sacado de otro lugar por qué eso no representa a este hotel.

I only liked dinner at roof
Personel was not so friendly. I also purchased this stay with a certain price including all taxes and charges but hotel collected another charges. Either booking.com didn't give right information or hotel collected more money.

The decor
Mostly everything, but the worse was when taking a shower water would flood the floor and we told the hotel they didn’t fix it but still charged full price

Check in took ridiculously long they couldn’t locate my booking
I attempted to have lunch on the roof before I checked out. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and was served a raw chicken sandwich completely not cooked.

I feel totally duped by the pool pictures, the pool is actually the size of a kiddy pool, the music was blasting and there was no shade! I was charged for items I didn’t even order at the pool !

Everything! From the interior details of the property to the the softness of the sheets and attitude of the staff. Loved it.

From the moment we arrived early in the morning to the time we left having to change plans due to the imminent arrival of Hurricane Hilary, the staff were accomodating and exceptional. Every single staff member we dealt with from reception, car service, valet and concierge were the best we have encountered. After we left the SLS, We travelled to another hotel in your group and have been disappointed at every touch point - from the cleanliness of the rooms to every interaction with staff members. I would highly recommend SLS purely on your staff. Thank you.
Shower over bath is annoying - I had requested a walk in shower as we always find the showers over baths flood. Didn’t want to cause a fuss since staff had been so kind to let us in to our room early due to our arrive after a long haul flight from Australia.

Beautiful room, great size, awesome bathroom and nice decor. All the staff were very friendly.
The bathmats were all frayed - not what you expect of such a property. There was a union strike outside whilst we were there. Certainly not the hotel‘s fault but their contingency plan was so la la as our room was not cleaned very well and bed not made well either.

A very complete hotel....the beds are extremely comfortable...good food, it is a very complete hotel!

Staff was friendly and the front desk was always helpful especially Daisy.
The room service was extremely overpriced for what was offered food wise.
The spa would not refund my friends reservation or even allow us to use the 400 dollars he spent for another service for another time. He essentially lost 400 dollars and I was told they wouldn’t allow me to do anything to reallocate the money for another service. It was simply just gone. My 90 minute massage was also cut 15 minutes short which I thought was a bit unprofessional.
