About this condo rental
Nestled in Carolina, this lovely condo for $295 per night is a great choice for your next trip. A Ocean Front apartment with a great view from the front balcony and now also from our new deck. For longer stays we are offering a very generous monthly discount. So extend your stay! This 2nd story 2 Bedroom and 2 Bath unit is a nice, tranquil, breezy apartment on a quiet little street in a gated neighborhood. It is within steps of the western end of the Isla Verde Beach and a sheltered cove. Also walking distance to wide, sandy beaches, shops, restaurants and a supermarket. The apartment is fully equipped and furnished. It has two bedrooms, including a large Master bedroom with a king size bed and two full bathrooms. Room A/C mini-split units in both bedrooms and also in the kitchen / living room area. In the cooler winter season (Nov - April), the apartment is great for just opening up the double doors in the living room and enjoying the ocean breeze and view. Also, a very big plus for our apt. is that it has solar powered battery back up so we keep going even if the grid should happen to go down. Other amenities include WiFi internet, and washer/dryer in the apt.. It is a non-smoking apartment. Relax on the balcony or in the living room enjoying the beautiful ocean views or sit in the shady patio garden or on our large deck. A short 2 minute walk to a sheltered cove, an excellent place for small children to play in the sand and shallow, calm waters. To get further down the beach where there are wider, sandy stretches, remember to bring good beach shoes to comfortably walk over some rocks along the way. (If you would like a bigger 3 bedroom/ 2 bath apt. see our property # 938186). A great location for food lovers. Within a short walk of the apartment you have a wide variety of eating options including a small food truck park, some casual dining (Pollo Tropical and Paco's Diner), excellent bakeries ( Panaderia Espana), a very good breakfast /brunch place (Bistro Cafe) and excellent coffee (787 Coffee), great local food, including 'mofongo' (La Casita,), pizzerias, and other fine international restaurants including Argentinian steak houses, Peruvian ceviche, and Italian. And if you feel like cooking your own meal, a supermarket is just down the road (Supermax).

John was a fantastic host. Three were 2 boogie boards on the property, but John saw that we had 3 kids so he found another one for us even though we did not request it.
The property was great and the location was perfect. it was only a few minutes walk to a quite section of the beach with some nice waves. I would definitely recommend John and this property.

We really enjoyed our time at this property. It was very spacious and comfortable. Great amenities, including washer/dryer in the apartment, boogie boards, beach chairs and sand toys. John was an excellent host and very helpful at both check-in and check-out. Location next to the swimming cove was perfect and our kids took full advantage. A couple of great dining places a short walk away - including Bistro Cafe and The New Ceviche. Grocery store close by as well. Would definitely return.

Our host was so accommodating meeting us to let us in, walking us through the property and being available anytime we had questions. The unit had a beautiful view of Isla Verde beach and was an ideal location for our visit! We could not have been more pleased with this property! Highly recommend!

John is a great host and the listing is pretty accurate! You are so close to the beach. Enjoyed it every day. There are delicious restaurants and cafes around within walking distance or take a super short Uber ride to Old San Juan. I definitely recommend his place!

The property is in a great location all kinds of restaurants, drinks, 24 hour super market, beach with very calm waters for kids, trees near the water for shade. Also, John, the host is great. My family loved him and everything was very organized from check in to a written manual inside the villa with information on things to do and places to eat. The villa was spacious for 4 people, had beach supplies, toys, games, books, etc. We will definitely stay here again.

First of all, John is a wonderful host! He was very helpful and accommodating to anything we needed during our stay. The location is right on the beach with beautiful views. The cove is perfect for swimming! Bed was very comfortable and we slept well the whole week. I would give this 6 stars if I could!

The house is directly on the water, and the beach with no seawall is just steps away. When not on the beach the AC works wells in each bedroom and the main room. John the owner was helpful and super nice. It was a great vacation! Several restaurants, grocery stores and food trucks are all walkable from the property. Does have secure parking as well if you rent a car.

This rental was the cherry on top of our time in PR. Nothing beats the location - right on the ocean and close to everything, including the airport and San Juan. John was very pleasant and thoughtful with the beach toys he provided for our kids. There are 3 A/C units in the home - The ones in the bedrooms worked fine, but the one in the main living room didn’t work for the entirety of our 7 day stay. John noticed it right before our stay and attempted to reset the machine promptly, called the technician, and offered another apartment at his location. The convenience of the washer and dryer and well-stocked kitchen were additional perks. We would highly recommend this home, but if A/C is important to you, just confirm that the units are functioning well before you book.

My husband and I went to Puerto Rico to celebrate our 25th anniversary. John, the owner and property manager, was friendly and easy to work with. The location was a great central location to travel to places on the island. The view of the ocean was beautiful. You have to walk to a nearby beach and/or cove since there is no immediate access to get into the water . The island is beautiful, and most people were very friendly. Our only complaint is that the master bed mattress wasn’t the most comfortable. All in all though, we give our stay 5 stars and would visit again!

Perfect for vacation!
John was wonderful! He was very friendly and helpful. The property was clean and had everything that we needed. Great location in San Juan! Walkable to coffee shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Easy driving to Old San Juan and downtown. There were enough beach towels, 4 beach chairs and extra sunscreen too! We even bought and left a beach umbrella to add to the stash. We stayed there for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect! We cannot wait to stay again!

Stay in Punta Las Marias
This is our second time staying in this property. The first time for 4 weeks last year, and this time for 2 weeks.
The location has been very good for our needs. A car rental is useful in PR, and the property has a designated parking space. John is a gracious and attentive host, and the upper level apartment we stayed in has all the amenities we needed with ample space for my family of 4 adults.

We loved our stay at Puntas Las Marias! I couldn’t say enough good things about it. The rooms were immaculate. The apartment had everything you need for days at the beach, including towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. John was a great host and was very prompt. The location is phenomenal with just a few minute walk to Isla Verde beach, or a 10-20 min drive to downtown. You get a very quiet, secluded feel while being close to everything. Again, we loved our stay here and cannot recommend it enough :)

We loved our stay at Puntas Las Marias! I couldn’t say enough good things about it. The rooms were immaculate. Everything about this unit was perfect: the spacious rooms, pet-friendliness, proximity to the ocean, security, great location with lots of restaurants within walking distance and airport just ten minutes. The place was full of little touches to make us feel welcome. The best part was the owner/ manager, John Lombardo, who greeted us upon arrival and was a great resource thoughout our stay. My hubby, sister-in-law and I spent a week here and it was absolute perfection. The ocean view is fantastic, and we would swim in the beach cove after long days of exploring the island. We spent an evening in the lush courtyard, and the apartment had plenty of space and all of the amenities we needed. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, as well as a store in case you wanted to pick up a bottle of Don Q and fresh parcha/passion fruit juice. John was a great host and we’ll definitely stay here again next time we visit.
