Lovely well equipped villa. The pool is large and clean. Within walking distance of lovely restaurant and bars. Having the car is an added bonus which allowed us to explore and easily get to water parks and sights. Louise the owner could not be more helpful. All in all a great holiday.

Easy walk to the beach and local supermarket. Close enough yet also far enough away from main coral bay strip of bars and resteraunts. So much to do here and peyia and beyond. You ll love your stay here. Also i believe great for kids

From start to finish, Louise the owner could not have done any more. She had booked a taxi to pick us up from the Airport but due to strike action we were diverted to Larnaca and kept in touch with us until we made it to the villa. Directions to the villa were spot on. Only downside was the fridge which was not cooling food down but quickly sorted by Louise’s maintenance team. Lovely grounds and villa is exactly as described and the free use of Louise’s car was a bonus. Would definitely recommend Chilbury Mortimer and thanks Louise for everything.

We had a fabulous time at the villa
Louise is a wonderful host & always responsive to all inquiries. We loved the location, close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and our favorite English pub “The Frog & Toad.
The car was a great bonus and the welcome groceries were much appreciated.

Lovely property, loads of space and seating, big patio garden. Owner really helpful, and really easy having the car provided.
Only downside was that the pool was in shade from late morning on, so didn't get very much heat from sunshine, water was OK midday but chilly by mid afternoon.

Beautiful Coral Bay Villa
We had a lovely relaxing stay, everything was provided for our stay and a welcome pack of essentials after a late flight. Pool was fantastic,. Louise was very helpful and a great host. We were able to contact her with any queries and dealt with promptly.The use of the free vehicle was great and we were able to explore the area. Great restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Chilbury was very chilled
The property was not only spacious but was very well layed out. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils to accommodate our needs with a very handy dishwasher to do all the hardwork. The pool was large enough for a large family to enjoy and although it was not heated, it was very refreshing after a hot day. The bonus with this villa, it comes with a car for your private use, very helpful when shopping for a large family, together with visits to local attractions. I would not hesitate to book this villa when visiting Cyprus again.

Lived up to expectations!
Booked this villa based on previous reviews and can say it is a lovely villa, lived up to expectations and previous reviews. It is more than fully equipped with everything you would need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Louise is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible and is always available should you need her. The use of Louise's car is a definite bonus.

Truly excellent!
The villa is exactly as advertised and positioned towards the western end of Coral Bay
A car really is necessary - even thought there are a number of shops close by - and the use of the owners car is an absolute godsend!
Very well equipped with everything you would need to enjoy your visit ... and for those who might feel a chill at night (we visited in January!) - the owner even includes snuggle blankets so you can sit outside and enjoy the stars!
The owner herself went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay and her personal touch was much appreciated

Wonderfully relaxing villa
Chilbury Mortimer is one of those rare holiday places where the reality is actually better than the photos that you see on the internet. It is well laid out, with a variety of different spaces such that a larger group does not all need to be in the same place at the same time. Louise is a wonderful host and the welcome pack in the fridge was excellent after a long day of travelling to get there.
Whilst we were there principally to enjoy the weather and a couple of weeks of relaxation (rather than do any sightseeing) it was very useful to have the use of the car at the villa, not just to go to the supermarket, but also because whilst it would be possible to walk from the villa into the main strip in Coral Bay it would be a good 25 minute walk.
Cannot praise the villa highly enough - we liked it so much we are coming back in July 22 for another stay.

A proper home away from home
Fantastic property and host. The property has everything you would need if you lived there permanently, it was a proper home away from home with everything taken care of.
The welcome pack and other touches from the host were more generous than anywhere else we have stayed.
We didn’t use the car that much other than trips to the shops, but it was much appreciated. My wife and I wanted a week of total rest and relaxation which this rental delivered in abundance.
We cannot wait to book again.

Great place & location. Pool a highlight.
We’d read all the other reviews and all had said that Louise was quick to respond and really helpful. And she is. She was also kind enough to let us stay on at the villa and tidy up around us as we waited for our evening flight. The villa is great - clean, tidy, good location and with a fantastic pool (10mX3m) where we spent a lot of time. There are plenty of good beaches within a 15 minute drive (the closest is 5 mins away), and similarly a lot of good restaurants the same distance away. The local supermarket - Phillipos - is a 5 minute drive too - and it’s good (butcher/fishmonger/bakery etc). So the free car comes in really handy. Particular highlights - hiring a dune buggy for the day and going to the Akamas Peninsular, and the Sea You Beach Bar at Kissonerga Beach and Oniro’s. Sunsets beautiful all along the coast - from Yialos Taverna/Sea Caves/Agios Giorgios. Great stay all round.

Cyprus is lovely, even in the rain
We stayed over Christmas and although the weather was not great, we had a few days of sunshine. Louise very kindly provided a Christmas tree (which pleased the kids!). The house has an open fire which warmed the lounge nicely and the TV had a great selection of Chrismas movies. The villa is within walking distance of the beach and a restaurant converted from a carob storehouse. Phillipos is a great supermarket, a short car ride away. Having the use of Louise's car was great. It made things so much easier. Overall, a good location, a lovely house, highly recommended.

AMAZING !

Fantastic holiday
I would recommend this villa its fantastic and for the lady louise she is 100 percent fantastic for
everything and all the way though if you needed anything she was straight there to help or give assistance the car was so handy to us and the villa perfect and all so for the taxi driver he was so helpful and gave you plenty of time no rush with him what so ever. The supermarket near buy is fantastic and perfect for all needs you felt like you are at home you got everything there to your needs x

Lovely villa and very helpful host.
Louise was an excellent host. Communication was prompt and clear. She provided helpful information about the Villa and it's location, and arranged taxi collection from the airport. The villa was lovely, well-equipped and comfortably furnished. The pool was a good size and depth for swimming and relaxing. Great location to walk to nearby beaches. A very welcome selection of essential provisions was much appreciated before we could get to the local supermarket. Use of a car was also a great bonus. The weather was constantly warm/hot and sunny enabling us to spend every day at the beach/pool. The local restaurant Porto Antico is a short walk from the villa, overlooks the bay and serves wonderful food. We also enjoyed using the barbecue at the villa for evening meals on the terrace. All in all we had a great holiday!

Without trying to repeat many of the previous reviews, this was a fantastic villa in a quiet area yet not too far a reasonable walk or a short drive to some great restaurants and wonderful beaches.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and we hope to return soon.

Lovely villa in Coral Bay
We loved our stay here, the villa is beautiful, spacious and also clean. The pool is a good size and the kids loved it. The villa is close enough to walk to the beach and some nearby restaurants. It was great to have use of the car as well for further journeys and trips to the supermarket so we didn’t have to carry the bags in the heat.
Louise was a great host and made us feel very welcome, she was always on hand if we needed anything. We would recommend this villa to anyone.

Holiday at chilbury Mortimer
We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this villa. We had a lovely holiday and made full use of the villa especially the outdoor seating areas which were excellent. The car was brilliant and we made full use of this and it allowed us to explore the local area and we regularly went out into coral bay and Paphos for meals. We used the barbecue on a couple of occasions which was great and the fact that we had use of a washing machine was brilliant. The pool was cleaned twice weekly which the children were never out of and we walked to the local beach most days. There was a welcome pack at the villa which was good as it meant that we had enough in to tide us over until we went to the supermarket. The bedding and towels are changed weekly but we washed the towels most days in the villa washing machine anyway. We had amazing weather and the villa was located in a quiet area so we were never disturbed. We will choose a villa holiday again over a hotel and we would definitely have a car again as in Cyprus they drive on the same side of the road and it gave us so much freedom.

Lovely villa
We thoroughy enjoyed our 2 week stay. The villa is comfortable and well furnished inside and out. It is very well maintained and very clean. The welcome pack was excellent and appreciated as we arrived late at night. The pool is lovely and a good size. Louise was very helpful during our stay. Would definitely return.

Stone Villa review by Steve Jeffries
We stayed at the villa in January 2018. We found it to be located in a quiet area, but within a short walk of the sea and Coral Bay shops & restaurants.
The villa was well equipped, neat and had good sized rooms.
The owner was helpful and friendly.
The pool was clean and large, and the patio / seating areas were of a great size and well designed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks here, and hope to return again soon.

The perfect place for some winter sun!
Spent three weeks in this lovely villa during November/ December.
This was our first time spending a holiday in a villa. Usually do hotel or apartment accommodation. We could not have chosen a better place.
The villa is in a quiet residential area. It had everything we needed to ensure a very comfortable home from home, but in the sun!! Stylish, spacious rooms with lots of storage space, well equipped kitchen and a lovely pool area. Everything was spotless.
Corallia beach was a few minutes walk away and we managed to swim in the sea a few times.
Louise, the owner, is a remarkable young lady. We felt we were very valued guests in her home. Nothing was too much bother. We had sole use of her car while there which was very much appreciated. Short trips sightseeing were made easier as were the shopping trips to stock up the fridge!!
We are regular visitors to Paphos and I can think of no better place to stay on these visits than at Chilbury Mortimer.

Fantastic family holiday and great accommodation
We had a fantastic family holiday away for my mums birthday. We have stayed in many villas before and this visit didn’t disappoint. Louise was in regular contact with us before our stay and whilst we were on holiday checking that everything was fine. The villa was very modern and very well equipped meaning that we had everything we needed during our stay.
The use of the car was great as it meant that we could get out and about around the island.
We would definitely consider visiting again and using this accommodation.

Excellent villa very well thought out and comfortable
We arrived in much need of rest and relaxation. The Villa is very easy to locate and next time I would recommend taking up the collection and car hire service provided by the owner. The villa was clean, with plenty of towels for pool and bathrooms. And the welcome package very thoughtful. The layout was perfect and gave enough space for everyone to enjoy some peace and quiet. The sun shines on the patio and pool all day and then later on you can move upstairs to the spacious balcony. It was a short walk to an amazing beach, where my daughter's spent all day in the sea. The sea is warm and you can see fish near the rock pools. You can hire 2 sun loungers and umbrella for 7.50 euros all day!! The barbecue and dining area is super and you can get lots of fresh local produce to bbq. It is a 20 minute stroll to town, but you can stop at a bar en-route for a cool drink!! We preferred being slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the town, although we still went out for dinner most nights!! I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting an escape to the sunshine, whether young or old. Everyone is soo very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your villa.

Great Place to Stay
Fantastic place to stay. Louise even arranged transfers to and from the airport. Pool was fantastic and serviced every 2/3 days so always sparkling. The double bed on the patio next to the pool was great, but watch you don't fall asleep without plenty of sunscreen. The use of the car was also good and it is a six seater so if the villa is full everyone got to ride. The villa was very well presented and no issues were evident. The nearest beach is 5-10 min walk also the same for the supermarket. All in all a great holiday.

Wonderful Villa
This was our first visit to Cyprus.
The villa far exceeded our expectation with the added bonus of the use of a 6 seater car which allowed us to explore the surrounding countryside.

Throughly Enjoyed by all.
Our stay at Chilbury Mortimer exceeded our expectations. Having the use of the car was a definite bonus as we like to explore but the villa is ideally situated if you were to choose not to drive. ONiros is definitely worth a visit for a meal and a cold drink at the end of the day to watch the sun go down. A huge thanks to Louise. A villa I will recommend to friends.

Lovely Villa, very well equipped & in a great location
My family, wife and 2 daughters (12 & 18) stayed at Chilbury Mortimer for 6 days during the May/June term break. The villa has everything required to have a relaxing stay and entertain/cater for effectively 2 teenage girls e.g. reliable internet and plenty of bathrooms! The layout of the villa was perfect and the fixtures and fittings are of a high standard.
The outdoor space is perfect and the loungers and double mattress made it very comfortable lazing around the pool. The hammock was a very nice bonus and offered a doze zone in the shade. The pool is very large compared to other villas we have stayed in and we only holiday in villas so have a good sample to compare from.
Louise the owner was very helpful throughout the purchase and stay process providing all of the information you require. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Not having to rush down the shops for essentials when you arrive helps the settling in process.
The location is perfect for 2 local sandy beaches (2 & 5 mins in the car respectively) and in a quiet spot, far enough away from the busy crowd but close to the local amenities.
This was our first visit to Cyprus and would definitely recommend the Island, the location and last but not least the villa. We are looking forward to our second visit and further exploring this lovely country.
