Great location overall, it was easy to get around and find good spots to eat. In the room, it was alright. The pool area looked interesting to explore, but was only open by reservation which did not work during my stay.
The bathroom was very cramped, the bed uncomfortable with the divider then the soap dispensers in the bathroom did not completely function and were hard to pump.
The staff was a mix of very kind and rude. Check in was easy and great, along with checkout. My friend and I had purchased wine cards and when going to use them, were questioned excessively by staff for where we had gotten the wine we purchased form the hotel. They then turned off the hotel music where we were at and made us feel unwelcomed.

Decent sized room, clean and comfortable
Marketing makes it appear way more high end than it is. The pool and spa have to be paid for and pre-booked ( 35 euros for 45 mins) and is too intimate if you book a slot and are in there with a couple. Too much focus is given to the pool in the marketing. Similarly, there’s a lot of marketing nonsense about this being a wine hotel - when we tried to experience this the desk staff claimed to know nothing about it. In reality, the basement breakfast room ( which you are actively discouraged by room service to use) has a few bottles of wine in it. No use if staff don’t know about this.
I also found the head of room service extremely rude. I was given a bottle of water and a glass when waiting for my husband to check out. She took this away from me and was very rude and unfriendly. Although she was required to apologise when I reported this to the manager, she still caused me a significant amount of upset and embarrassment. Definitely not what you would expect in a good hotel.
