Located in a quiet area of Le Cannet, just 2 km from the beaches and the old port, the Palais des Festival and its Casino, 50 meters from a bus stop for Cannes, this large villa with a surface area of 300 M2 includes on the ground floor

Le Cannet is quite a built up area with lots of apartments about and this villa is an oasis in amongst it all. We chose this villa as it was so close to Cannes, we hired a car but you don’t need one unless wanting to explore further afield. Ubers are so cheap and easy to use and there is a supermarket 5 min walk away. The villa itself is huge 3 bedrooms upstairs of which the master is huge with an en-suite which has disability access, the fourth bedroom is off the lounge downstairs with views over the pool. Inside it has a rustic charm so don’t expect modern, but the villa has a well equipped kitchen utility room and comfy beds which is all we needed inside. Aircon in all the bedrooms. The outside area is special, lovely warm pool (I hate an unheated pool), a hot tub which we didn’t use as the weather was too hot, plenty of sun loungers and seating areas and the gardens are beautiful and completely enclosed with high hedges. Due to its abundance of greenery there are mosquitoes which are a bit of a menace so come prepared. There is a gas bbq but also a charcoal barbecue. It is in a busy area with a jet car wash one side and a crèche the next so if you want total peace and quiet this is not the villa for you. We had a fab stay and would recommend

The property owner and host was extremely courteous, helpful and welcoming. The property itself was rustic and charming albeit needing some refurbishment especially the kitchen and bathrooms. However, the outside gardens and pool were amazing. Unfortunately it seemed to be a haven for mosquitoes. All in all a lovely property requiring some updating.

I feel the host would prefer to rent to adults only!! Only the bedrooms had air conditioning.
