Chalet Brunner 6 Penthouse is a luxury 3 bedroom 3rd-floor penthouse holiday apartment with a spacious balcony in a high-end chalet. A sought-after ski-in / ski-out location, it's just a short downhill walk or ski to the centre of the family-friendly car-free village of Wengen.
This apartment sleeps up to 6 people:
Bedroom 1 - 1 king-size bed
Bedroom 2 - 1 queen-size bed
Bedroom 3 - 1 king-size bed
All beds are European sizes.
Bathroom 1 - bathtub with shower overhead and WC (en-suite)
Bathroom 2 - shower and WC
Bathroom 3 - shower and WC
Apartment location - Just 9 minutes (650m) walk downhill to the train station, 600m to the nearest supermarket and with the ski piste right outside, access to mountain hiking and ski areas is literally on your doorstep!
Everything about this top-floor apartment is distinctive – from its chic décor and top-quality finishes and furnishings to its stunning views from almost any angle. Every detail has been considered to create a feeling of luxury! The vaulted ceilings and ample windows create a light and airy space and frame the spectacular views, while an open fireplace and central heating keep things cosy. The spacious open-concept living/dining/kitchen area is the perfect gathering place, making it easy to cook, eat, entertain and relax all in one space!
The large south and west-facing balconies bring the mountains even closer, creating a perfect setting for outdoor relaxing and dining! The modern kitchen is well equipped for cooking and entertaining, and comes complete with a raclette machine and fondue set to make those traditional Swiss favourites!
There are three bright and airy bedrooms that boast impressive views – what a luxurious spot to linger over morning coffee! And three modern and light bathrooms add to the privacy for each guest, creating the feeling of a secluded retreat. The Penthouse apartment at Chalet Brunner is perfect for discerning guests who want superb quality and style in a beautiful and convenient Alpine setting!
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer inside the apartment and a ski room in the chalet basement.

What you should know...
Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station, which is recommended when you arrive with luggage.
Note that all the beds are doubles (EU king-size).
As part of your booking, a mandatory non-refundable damage waiver of CHF 35 is required. This waiver offers you protection against accidental damage during your stay, ensuring peace of mind without the need for a traditional refundable security deposit.

Everything was exactly as described and as in the pictures. The view of the mountains is just stunning and honestly you could spend half a day just staring at them. Comfortable seating provided which was a plus! House is well appointed and we didn’t have any issues at all. I mean I am trying to nitpick but it truly is hard to do that. Things to know1. It is possible to drag your suitcases to the house from the station. But it is a bit exhausting if you just landed. If you only have backpacks - it is an ascent of maybe 100m and is doable. You should pay the local taxi chf 25 if in doubt 2. Checking out and pulling your suitcases behind you is all downhill and easy3. Food in Wengen is ok. Pasta and More is the only one that gets an honorable mention. 4. All stores close at 6. Restaurants are open late Other than that - highly recommended stay!!Ps: We were there in July during the heat dome and the room table fans were very helpful. Very thoughtful of them Also - Do read the info packet once checked in.
