About this condo rental

Situated in Saint George, this charming condo for $120 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This apartment is modern and tastefully laid out to suit the solo traveler, groups or families to a maximum of four persons. It is located on the lower level of the building. Our place is centrally located in a culturally, vibrant neighbourhood where you have easy access by public transport, the beach, restaurants, bars and shopping. You get amazing views of the capital, the marina, the mountains and the sea. Night time views are equally lovely. There are two air-conditioned, en suite bedrooms. A queen sized bed in one and two single beds in the other. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. There is a full kitchen equipped with a full sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, gas cooker, toaster cutlery and crockery. Please not there is no dining table indoors. A decent sized wooden deck awaits you outside with an outdoor patio set so you can just lounge with friends or family, have your coffee, cocktails or dinner. Casa Calypso's central location allows the traveller to explore those areas that are close by, some by foot, if you so choose. These will include shopping, local and international eating places, rum shops, beach, to name a few. A rented vehicle is always a bonus, however a 5 minute walk to the Kirani James Boulevard will grant you access to public transport on the 'No.1' bus which plies the Grand Anse - St.George's route. Otherwise, taxi service can be pre-arranged. My neighbourhood has a local flair so it is not uncommon to have a buzz emanating from the area. There are a few local rum shops that might be playing music, you may sometimes hear the tooting horns of vehicles driving on the Boulevard or even the horn from the cruise ship signalling departure. No two ways about it, you can have a relaxing holiday here, but you will be entertained. Nearby places to visit include the Grenada Yacht Club, Port Louis Marina, the Grenada Golf Course and Hyde Park Tropical Garden. Quite a few social options available if you wish to experience the local rum shops and local cuisine, or if you prefer the international options. To get a real sense of Grenada, you can experience it here. You have all the comforts of home without feeling trapped in a sterile environment while on vacation. We offer the best of island living.

Wonderful and helpful welcome from Tony who oriented us to St. Georges and helped us settle in. Accommodations exactly as promised. A beautiful property with a spectacular view of harbour. Great central location and we were able to get to all things through the bus system. Restaurants and food stores nearby. A truly wonderful stay in Grenada.

Will tell my friends great place to stay. Close to both St.George and Gran Anse. We enjoyed the beach at the traffic light and shopping at Foodland. Found a bar and coconut vendor as we were leaving.

The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and is situated in a great central location - above Port Louis, which is between Grand Anse Beach and St. George’s town. The balcony was a fabulous place to hang out in the mornings and evenings after a day at the beach or sightseeing. Lindy and her husband are very nice and helpful.

The location was excellent - only a 15-20 minute walk to downtown St. George's and Grand Anse Beach, and close to the bus route which can get you to both very quickly. There was also a grocery store just down the street that was handy. The apartment was very clean and had absolutely everything you would need for a comfortable and lengthy stay, including a nice patio with a view of the harbour. The AC was definitely needed and appreciated! The hosts were very friendly and very accommodating and helpful in offering guidance and information about Grenada, things to do, and places to see. At no point did we feel unsafe. It was nice and quiet at night. We could sometimes hear local music in the distance over the sound of the tree frogs and crickets. Forget hotels, forget resorts. If you want to experience Grenada to its fullest and immerse yourself in the culture, we recommend staying here! We would not think twice about staying at Casa Calypso again! Great view of the harbor and close enough to stores that you don't need a car. The apartment is comfortable and the stone floors keep things cool. The bed rooms are air conditioned; which insures comfortable, quiet nights. The owners live upstairs. They couldn't be nicer. Tony has a wealth of information for almost anything that might come up; including where to get fresh coconut water. We didn't want to leave.

We loved our stay here. Excellent location with views over the harbour, and can walk to St George and to the marina. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed with a lovely deck that we basically lived on. The owners lived above us, and were so helpful, friendly and caring, and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. It had good car parking, and easy to get out and about every day. Supermarket was a mere 5 minutes walk away. We loved our stay at Casa Calypso and would highly recommend it.
