Situated in La Matanza de Acentejo, this charming house for $104 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This charming and spatially cozy holiday home, which is located in the nature reserve of El Caleton, is equipped with a combined living room / bedroom (double bed 1.80 x 2.00 m), leather couch, dining area and. Garden exit, integrated kitchen (2 hobs), microwave, toaster, refrigerator, SatTV (German channels), baby bed / high chair equipped on request. Extra bed for 1 child up to 12 years / baby possible, additional costs 10 euros per day. Baby cot / extra bed are to be paid in cash on site (Tenerife). Please note with the extra bed that only a large combined living room and bedroom is available. No extra bedroom !! Barrier-free access. Parking directly on the property. Wonderful part of the garden with lush planting for sole use u. direct access to the well-kept pool (45sqm). The wonderful pool was completely renovated in September 2019! 2 sun beds, table, 6 chairs, parasol. Due to the many requests: The pool is a private pool and belongs to our main house (2 people), as well as your vacation home. We do not use the pool itself during your vacation, you can at any time go swimming alone. The house is at approx. 75m altitude before the cliffs. In addition to the great all-round view, the sound of the waves is your pleasant holiday companion. Hiking opportunities are at your feet right in front of the entrance with an incomparable panoramic view over the Atlantic Ocean and a view of the natural, endemically overgrown rock-lava region in the nature reserve of El Caleton. Simply a breathtaking place to relax! Access / exit via serpentine road approx. 2 km, then after approx. 2 km you will reach the motorway quickly and easily with all destinations. Distance from Puerto de la Cruz 14 km, Santa Crutz 30 km, La Laguna 20 km, Anaga Mountains 30 km, Orotava Valley 15 km, Humbold View 16 km, various beaches from 15 km, Loro Park 18 km, the nearest airport 18 km. They only share their holiday domicile with the adjacent owner's house (married couple + dog). Here you will simply find a wonderful spot to linger and come back.

We came to Tenerife for a week to relax and this place was incredible. The view over the ocean and the volcano is exceptional and allows you to clear your mind 😌. The pool is really refreshing and Martina and Peter are wonderful people, very welcoming and always available for any questions or just to chat. I highly recommend this place 100% 👍😁
The studio is just the right size and has everything you need. Thank you again for these wonderful new memories and I hope to have the opportunity to come back another time. ❤️

Brilliant base from which to explore the forested North of Tenerife, just a short hop from picturesque Puerto de la Cruz and loads of good walks nearby. Good access to the main road by car, after the long switchback, but it was too much/long for a stroll to nearby La Matanza de Acentejo in the heat. Hosts Peter and Martina were friendly, but discreet and I couldn't speak more highly of their helpfulness. We had a fab one week stay.

We had a lovely holiday here. Peter and Martina answered our queries beforehand promptly and were perfect hosts. The garden and pool area is gorgeous, with views along the coast and of Teide, and the property itself had everything we needed. Very convenient for the motorway with easy access from there around the island. We were in Tenerife mainly for a walking holiday and the highlights were the walks from the visitor centres at Teide, simply breathtaking. It was so nice to have sole use of the pool, which was used every morning.

Stimmungsvolle Ferien an schöner und aussergewöhnlichen Lage
Das Objekt entsprach der Beschreibung. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr nett. Sie verhielten sich bei Anwesenheit sehr diskret, was trotz der direkten Nachbarschaft eine ungestörte Privatsphäre möglich war.

Wir kommen gerne wieder
Wir hatten eine wundervolle und erholsame Urlaubswoche im Mai 2022 hier verbracht. Besonders gefallen hat uns der tolle Gartenbereich mit Pool, die tolle Aussicht auf den Ozean und auf den Vulkan Teide, sowie die Ruhe. Allabendlich genossen wir den Sonnenuntergang. Wir haben jeden Tag im Garten gefrühstückt, zu Abend gegessen und ein paar Bahnen im Pool geschwommen. Im Häuschen war alles ausreichend für Selbstversorger vorhanden, sogar auch Pooltücher. Die Straße zum Haus ist zwar kurvig, aber mit etwas Vorsicht, gut zu fahren. Man hat immer eine tolle Sicht aufs Meer und man ist in ca. 8 min. auf der Autobahn. Und man kann schnell in jede Richtung der Insel kommen. Hier gibt es keine Promenade mit Restaurants, Bars, Shops und Ähnlichem, dafür kann man den Sonnenuntergang gemütlich mit einer Flasche Wein in Ruhe im Garten genießen.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut fair. Das Vermieterehepaar Martina und Peter sind sehr freundliche, offene und hilfsbereite Menschen. Sie wollen, dass sich ihre Gäste wohlfühlen. Bei uns hat es geklappt :-)

Abenteuerliche Anfahrt
Steile und ungesicherte 3km Serpentinen-Straße. Wohnung und Lage sehr schön wenn die schwierige Anfahrt nicht wäre,daher erfolgte unsere Abreise bereits 4tage früher was dann zu erheblichen Mehrkosten führte.

Traumhafte Lage, wunderbare Gastgeber !
Die Lage der Wohnung ist fantastisch. Der Garten mit eigenen Pool und einer schönen Rasenfläche bietet einen Blick auf das Meer und den Teide. Die Gastgeber wohnen nebenan, sind sehr rücksichtsvoll. Wenn man keinen Kontakt möchte, bleibt man für sich. Wenn Fragen sind, stehen die beiden gern zur Verfügung. Ein Mietwagen ist unverzichtbar. Und die Serpentinenstrasse ist breit genug und sollte auch für Durchschnittsfahrer kein Problem sein. Fazit: wunderbare 3 Wochen (auch wenn das Wetter nicht so toll war) !!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mit afrikanischen Kunstwerken.Es stimmt Alles mit dem Prospekt überein.Ein eigener Garten mit grünem Rasen und Palmen für die Gäste.Ebenso der Pool mit sauberem Wasser.Die Aussicht ist rundherum fantastisch.Das Highlight ist der freie Blick auf den Teide.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick
Unser Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft war sehr schön! Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr nett, die Kommunikation war einwandfrei und sie haben uns auch gute Tipps gegeben. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei Gelegenheit kommen wir gerne wieder!

Superbe semaine
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce petit gîte au calme, surplombant la mer et idéal pour 2 personnes. Il est bien équipé et muni d'un magnifique jardin avec piscine et vue sur le Teide. Idéalement situé à 15 km de l'aéroport de Ténérife Nord, il est permet de rayonner sur toute l'île sans problème. Par contre, voiture obligatoire pour y accéder : 2,5 km pentus sur une petite route comprenant 12 virages en épingle à cheveux !

Liebe Familie Hochhäuser, es war eine super tolle, erholsame Urlaubswoche auf Teneriffa. Alles hat hervorragend gepasst, alles super sauber, alles vorhanden. Den sehr gepflegte Pool haben wir täglich genutzt und den traumhaften Ausblick genossen. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Vermieter! Wir kommen gern wieder🤗

Ein wunderschönes Objekt mit atemberaubendem Panoramablick.
Das Appartement gleicht den Bildern und war sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Auch Martina und Peter sind herzliche Vermieter, die jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle waren, wenn man sie brauchte.
Das Anwesen ist total einfach zu erreichen, an die besonderen Straßenverhältnisse gewöhnt man sich recht schnell. Ein Mietwagen ist hier auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!!
Der Pool war super gepflegt und jederzeit begehbar. Wir hatten den Pool ganz für uns allein, ab und an einen felligen Begleiter, der eine sehr treue Seele und ganz lieb ist.
Wir können dieses Appartement nur weiterempfehlen!!

Toller Urlaub in wunderschöner Umgebung
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub auf Teneriffa. Die schöne Wohnung hat eine super Lage um Ausflüge/Wanderungen in den verschiedenen Teilen Teneriffas zu unternehmen. Abends kann man dann im Garten entspannen und dem Meer lauschen. Das Ehepaar Hochheuser war sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Magnifique endroit au calme avec une vue extraordinaire, idéalement situé pour visiter la côte nord
Nous avons passé un séjour particulièrement agréable. Le logement possède tout le confort nécessaire, avec un jardin équipé de table, parasol, lits de jardin et accès à la piscine. De partout la vue sur l'océan et le volcan est à couper le souffle. L'endroit est d'un calme reposant. Les propriétaires sont charmants, attentifs aux besoins des locataires, tout en restant discrets. On est très bien situé pour visiter la côte nord de l'île via l'autopista que l'on rejoint à quelques kms de la maison. Le seul bémol dans nos vacances est que nous n'avons pu monter au Teide par le téléphérique car toutes les places étaient déjà réservées par internet 5 jours à l'avance. En période d'été il est donc conseillé de prévoir cette excursion à temps et de réserver on-line.

Lovely house en Tenerife
Se trata de un apartamento anexo al chalet principal de los propietarios. Dentro puedes encontrar todo el menaje necesario, cocina completa, baño muy correcto, 2 camas cómodas y una terraza impresionante con una piscina preciosa (compartida con los propietarios).
Si tuviera que buscar algún defecto: el acceso a la casa es a través de una carretera con bastantes curvas y la falta de aire acondicionado (aunque la temperatura en Tenerife suele ser moderada, por la noche hacía bastante calor).
Los propietarios son muy amables e hicieron todo el proceso muy sencillo.

Tolle Lage, gute Ausstattung & sehr angenehme Gastgeber
Wohnung und Garten entsprechen der Objektbeschreibung. Die Gastgeber sind unkompliziert und angenehm unaufdringlich, aber jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr um ihre Gäste bemüht. Der Blick vom Garten auf den Teide und die Sonnenuntergänge sind großartig, das Schwimmbad, das man praktisch für sich allein hat, bietet angenehme Abkühlungen. Wir haben die ruhigen Abende genossen.
Der kleine Ort El Caleton ist auch zu Fuß über die Serpentinenstraße in ein paar Minuten abwärts erreichbar. Er hat einen sehr urwüchsigen Charme und bietet diverse Bademöglichkeiten (Bucht in Ortsmitte mit Beton-Liegebereich; verschiedene Meerzugänge für Unerschrockene über Leitern direkt ins wilde Wasser an den Ortsflanken). Hier gibt es auch ein höchst einfaches Gasthaus mit Terrasse direkt über dem Meer, das man allerdings erst mal finden muss (kein Schild, keine Karte, den Fisch zur Auswahl bekommt man am Kühlschrank gezeigt).
Für die Serpentinenstraße aufwärts braucht man ein Auto. Durch die Nähe zur Autobahn hat man aber eine sehr günstige Ausgangslage für Erkundungstouren ins nahe Orotavatal, von wo man in direkter Weiterfahrt den Teide erreicht oder in entgegengesetzter Richtung zum eindrucksvollen Anaga-Gebirge gelangt.
Zum Baden schön gefallen, hat uns der "Bollullo-Beach", der mit dem Auto ebenfalls recht schnell zu erreichen ist.
Wir danken dem Ehepaar Hochheuser für den sehr schönen und abwechslungsreichen Urlaub, den wir bei ihnen verbringen durften!

Schöner Meerblick mit Pool und Sonnenuntergang
Das Ferienhaus liegt, gefühlt, so ca. 100 m über dem Meer, und von der Hauptstraße fährt man so ca. 10 Min. steil über Serpentinen runter bzw. rauf. Am Tage kein Problem, bei Dunkelheit wegen fehlender Straßenbeleuchtung und Markierungen doch etwas haarig. Insgesamt liegt das Haus, obwohl eher einsam, aber auch sehr verkehrsgünstig. Neben dem Ferienhaus wohnen die Vermieter, Martina und Peter Hochhäuser, beide sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich nie beobachtet, hat aber das gute Gefühl, dass Hilfe da wäre, wenn notwendig. Die Ausstattung ist praktisch und vollständig: z.B.3 verschiedene Schlafkissen, Teekanne, Kaffemaschine, Toaster usw. - alles was das (deutsche) Urlauberherz begehrt. Das einzige, was Mann vielleicht noch einpacken sollte (das gilt aber für jedes Ferienhaus): ein wirklich scharfes Messer (z.B. Opinel Carbon). Ansonsten aber könnte ich noch von der Umgebung, dem Sternehimmel usw. schwärmen, will aber nur noch den täglich variierenden Sonnenuntergang überm Meer erwähnen und mich abschließend nochmals bei Martina und Peter für den schönen Aufenthalt - wahrscheinlich wird es nicht der letzte sein - bedanken!

We loved our stay here. Wished we’d stayed longer. Great location with stunning views of the volcano and sea. Owners were lovely. There if we needed them. We had sole use of the garden area which was lovely to sit in and relax. We explored the north and some of the south and will definitely be back. Stunning drive down to the property. Thank you 😊

We had a fantastic time it is very quite and peaceful, you do need transport as there are no shops in walking distance, its 25 mins from peuto de la cruz, which is a very nice place, very good restaurants and bars

Martina and her husband were very kind and lovely hosts.
The villa was not just clean but superbly clean and had a new feel though out. Their was plenty of linen and towels.
Other people had talked about a smelly toilet and drain this was not a problem and has been fixed completely the garden is full of plants and flowers. The views just superb eye candy. Their is plenty to do walking and relaxing Porta-del-a-cruse is 1/2 an hour north and santa cruse 1/2 an hour south. The summit is an hour easy drive by car.
We stoped in May and had a Wonderfull holiday.

Beautiful view, relaxed and clean place
Enough room in the combined living/bedroom + bathroom and plenty of space in the garden. All needed tools and lots of towels are available. Parking lot. Beautiful view. Very kind and helpful owners living next door. Car is needed. Heaps of restaurants in 7-15 mins.
