We visited Estes Park for our 25th wedding anniversary and boy were we thrilled!
Alex is such an amazing host! The cabin was spot on clean, comfortable and homey! It's about a mile from the center of town and a very short and beautiful drive to RMNP.
One afternoon we took a short drive the opposite direction toward Ward and actually saw 2 moose!
On our excursions to and from RMNP we saw tons of Mule Deer and, on our last evening there, we were blessed to take in a very close up view of a whole herd of Elk!
We spent most of our time hiking and enjoying the breathtaking scenery that surrounds Estes Park and the cabin was so cozy and welcoming to come "home" to each night!
We would absolutely recommend Alex and his cabins to anyone!

The cabin was a perfect pick because not only was it the best bang for your buck but also is in the perfect location where you are just outside of town while it is still easily accessible.

We loved the cabin. There are several cabins grouped together with their own access to the river. It was perfect. My sister was able to book the cabin right down from ours. It is a very short drive to the entrance of Rocky Mountain State Park. Would definitely stay at this cabin again!

This is a delightful cabin. It is close to downtown without being too noisy and it is conveniently located on the way to RMNP and near to some of our favorite places to eat in Estes.
The cabin was clean and the remodeling was really nice. It had pretty much everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
The picnic area by the river was wonderful to have access to and dedicated parking spaces are a relief - no wondering if you parked in the wrong place.
The rooms were good sized to fit the pack n play for our little one. The internet speeds were plenty fast for casual browsing and ordering food online.
Overall we loved our stay and would highly recommend this cabin!

This cabin was perfect for my wife, almost 2 year old, and myself to have a nice weekend away in Estes Park. It's pretty close to downtown and pretty close to the RMNP entrance, and is only a few hundred feet from the Big Thompson River. We'll definitely think about coming back here next time we plan a trip to Estes Park!

Close access to Estes, not as private as you might think. Great to have a fireplace inside as the river was a bit of a walk and has community access, not just for VRBO guests. The beds did have significant divots in each bed and made for a stiff morning. Very convienent when going into town so proxmity was huge win. Lastly we did feel a bit watched as I received a txt 30mins in asking about my "animal" and assumed I had snuck them in. I do have a service animal and felt the messege was quite abrubt and could have been handled a bit different. All-in-all if you are in town for a quick stay it does the job.

My sister and I have been going to Estes Park, every year, for over 20 years. This is the first time that we stayed here at Deer Cozy Cabin and it was a wonderful experience. The cabin was very adorable, clean and close to town. We had elk come right up to our cabin and just hang around. They put on quite the show. The beds were VERY comfortable and having a washer/dryer was a great plus! The manager Alex, was very kind. He came up the first day and introduced himself and was very helpful and got us whatever we needed. You won't be sorry if you stay here.

This was a cozy perfectly sized cabin with an over the top awesome shower! My hubby is 6’2” and the shower head was still high enough for someone even taller! The water pressure and temperature control topped it off for the best shower I’ve ever had away from home!! Lol. Also the windows opened nicely for a breeze!! And deer walked right by our window! We would definitely stay again!!

Nicely updated cabin in a great location for exploring Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park. Near restaurants, shops, and short drive to the main attractions locally.

The property was clean, cabin was clean and it’s easily 5-10 mins from park entrance which was wonderful. I was a little disappointed with the listing pictures as it makes it seem like you are in a wider open region. It’s a very congested area as Estes park is, but this listing made it seem like you had more privacy for yourself but you are able to hear a lot of the cabin next door. And they are right on top of eachother. Not a huge deal since you aren’t there to spend time at the cabin but would be nice to have more privacy. Alex was good host.

We so enjoyed our (too short) stay here. It was a cozy and peaceful haven at the end of busy days. The cabin was perfect, and mornings sitting by the river with coffee….the best!! Would definitely recommend this place to others! Thank you for a great stay!

We have been to Estes five times. This cabin was our favorite. It was just off the road enough it was very quiet. The cabin can sleep up to 5 so we had plenty of room. Our view of the mountains was very relaxing. We have already talked w the owner about coming back again.

Was a very nice cabin. Had thought the chairs by stream were like in backyard but across parking lot & down always. Not bad & beautiful

We loved everything about our stay here! Clean and the location is amazing as it’s just down the road from the RMNP entrance! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice little cabin, not far from downtown Estes. Only downside is that parking is only one spot and is a little tight, but other than that a great place to stay.

Location is great! Minutes from the park. Clean and cozy! Great amenities.

Enjoyed our stay. Cabin was clean, good size for our family and had great amenities for our family. Great location near lots of activities. Had elk wander through the front yard; kids loved it! Property manager had great communication.

Perfect location near a major road but no traffic noise at all. With around 730 square feet, rooms do not feel small at all. We were there with four adults and had plenty of space. It has all the amenities one needs. It really feels like home. We would love to come again any time. Alex was a kind and caring host. Everything was very professional. We can very highly recommend this cabin.

Perfect little cabin to enjoy all of Estes Park and RMNP. Very conveniently located. We were able to walk to the great BBQ place just a block away. House was spotless and had everything you could need. Cool elk doe walked down the drive every morning and evening. Too many positives about the place to list! Only negative (which I consider minor flaws more than negatives) would be that the master bed was super hard mattress and the yard is shared and not private to the creek. I would rent again easily.

The photos don’t do this place justice. The cabin is really nice and updated. We loved how convenient it was for getting into RMNP. We didn’t ever walk from the cabin to the main area of Estes Park bc of distance and busy street but there are places nearby enough… just not the main area of Estes Park. Coffee shop down the street with duck pond was walkable and so fun for our family.

The cabin had all the amenities you could think of (including a washer and dryer!) which made our stay extra enjoyable. The cabin is by a river that elk frequent (awesome to have a drink on the porch!) and has a view of the mountains.
The cabin is super clean, is well organized, and had directions for everything you could think of. (ie how to work the fireplace). The cabin had plenty of blankets, towels, and toilet paper. Alex even provided towels to wash your make-up off!
He was always quick to respond pre- and during trip via e-mail and text to respond to any questions.
Probably our best VRBO stay we’ve ever had!!

This is the perfect place to stay for visiting RMNP. It’s right there! Cabin was clean and comfortable. So many little things are thought of and made available. Should I be fortunate enough to return to the area, I would look nowhere else.

Cozy cabin right next to Bug Thompson River and view of mountains. Lots of elk and deer.

the cabin was great! everything was nice and clean. if i had to say one bad thing, the bed in the master room is HARD! we didn’t sleep great, but it wouldn’t keep us from booking again.

The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and everyone in the group was impressed by how clean the cabin was! Great location close to town and saw so much wildlife right from the porch. Already looking forward to our next stay.

Such a great property! The views were amazing and so close to everything. It had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here. I know when we come back, we will definitely be booking with Alex again!

The cabin was great. Very clean and in a great location, literally minutes away from the entrance to RMNP. Lots of deer walking by the cabin every day. The only issue was the cleaning service showing up 2 hours before our check out time and then again 30 minutes before and waiting while we packed the car.

Good amenities and price. Close to shopping fishing and RMNP
