Our 48 m² vacation apartment is located in a very quiet area on the outskirts of Steibis in an Alpine-style residential complex. The rooms feature real wood furniture and hardwood floors.
The living/dining room features a fully equipped built-in kitchen with a ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave; a cozy dining area; a sleeper sofa (sleeping surface 130 x 200), a flat-screen satellite TV, an internet radio with a CD player, and a well-stocked bookshelf. You’re welcome to take any books home to finish reading for free.
Our long south-facing balcony is also furnished with wooden furniture and offers an unobstructed view of the Hochgrat, Rindalphorn, and Imberg. It is accessible from both the living room and the bedroom.
The bedroom features a bed with a raised mattress across the entire width (1.80 m x 2.00 m sleeping area) and a spacious closet with plenty of storage space.
The apartment has a spacious entryway with a large closet for coats and backpacks.
The modern bathroom, newly renovated in 2021, is equipped with a walk-in shower, a large sink, and a toilet.
Upon request, we can provide a TrippTrapp high chair and/or a travel crib (0.60 m x 1.20 m).
You have direct access to the house from your underground parking space.
We use hydroelectric power generated locally.
Both the Imbergbahn and the popular Steibing Golf Course are located approximately 500 m to 800 m from the vacation rental and can be easily reached on foot, by car, or by bus.
To get to the Hochgratbahn valley station or to Oberstaufen, use the free bus service (stops are about 100 m away).
Beautiful hiking trails start right in front of the house. A car-free vacation is possible! A folder with suggestions for hikes and bike tours, as well as a hiking map, are provided in the apartment.
Tourist tax and bed linens/towels are not included in the price.
You’re welcome to book a linens package (bed linens, various towels, bath mat, kitchen towels) through us for €12.00 per person.
The tourist tax and, if desired, the linens package will be billed separately by us.
Within a radius of about 250 meters, you’ll find restaurants, a pizzeria, a small newsstand and stationery shop, a village store with fresh bakery items and a good selection of groceries, as well as the famous Steibinger Bergkäserei, which offers cheese, eggs, honey and jams, smoked sausages, wines, and schnapps.
Next to the cheese dairy, you can shop for traditional Alpine folk costumes at Trachten-Fink.
The Imberg area features an Alpine adventure trail with 47 stations. This trail is particularly well-suited for children. Both the vacation rental and the tourist office (a 4-minute walk away) have plenty of brochures with additional current offers.
You can play golf in Steibis at one of the most beautifully situated golf courses in the Allgäu region, which is within walking distance (15 min) of the apartment or accessible by bus (free of charge).
With a total length of more than 80 kilometers, there are twelve cross-country ski trails of three different difficulty levels available within a radius of about 10 kilometers. We enjoy skiing on the trails in the Weissach Valley (about a 3-kilometer drive) or take the trail from the “Hündle” valley station to Alpsee.
The 8-person gondola takes you quickly and comfortably to the Imberg skiing and hiking paradise. For skiing, you’ll find 12 lifts, including a heated 6-person comfort chairlift, and nearly 20 km of ski runs with blue, red, and black runs. The ski area is quite diverse and is very well suited as a family ski resort.

Wir waren von der ersten Sekunde an total begeistert von der Wohnung. Die Ausstattung ist wirklich hervorragend, es wurde an alles gedacht. Am meisten hat mich die Sauberkeit überzeugt. Ich fand nicht ein Staubkorn irgendwo, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlen konnte. Der Kontakt mit den Brehms war freundlich und sie haben sich sehr engagiert, weil wir noch Fragen bezüglich unseres Aufenthalts hatten. Steibis ist ein toller Ort um Urlaub zu machen. Die Wohnung liegt in der Ortsmitte, sodass alles bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Sollte man doch mal mit dem Auto unterwegs sein, bietet die Tiefgarage sowohl einen trockenen Ein- und Ausstieg, als auch eine sehr gute Unterbringung für das Auto.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!
