About this house rental
A vacation rental with a kitchen for your stay in the heart of the Ski Amadè ski region in Salzburg! With a single ski pass, you can access numerous lifts, such as those in the Flachau-Wagrain-St. Johann ski areas. The property is a former farmhouse, built primarily of wood, and was lovingly renovated in 2008. Very cozy and comfortable for romantic family vacations or get-togethers with friends: the ideal place to relax in the Salzburg Sportwelt Amade. You’ll find your home away from home in St. Johann im Pongau—a place with many different attractions: Pongau Cathedral, Lichtenstein Gorge, Salzburger Sportwelt Amade, various alpine hiking trails, a giant ice wall, a bike path along the Salzach River, restaurants.....
This farmhouse is 400 years old and has a total of 5 bedrooms:
First floor: kitchen with dining area and wood-burning oven, passageway to the living room with seating area and satellite TV.
Kitchen: wood-burning oven (which provides cozy warmth in the kitchen—firewood is provided free of charge), electric stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils.
Indoor sauna, shower, toilet. 1 double room, ski storage.
First floor: 2 double rooms, 1 triple room, 1 quadruple room, 1 bathroom/toilet. Electric heating. The house features large rooms and is therefore suitable for up to 14 people. In front of the house is a large garden with a seating area, a barbecue, and plenty of space to relax—ideal for leisurely get-togethers, whether with family or friends.

Enjoyed our stay and host was wonderful. Fire was lit in stove for us before we arrived and so kitchen was warm. Was not aware of additional charge for electricity as I did not see it in the listing and had never heard of being charged for electricity. Otherwise I highly recommend this house!

We had a wonderful week in the well maintained old chalet. Our host was very friendly and easy to reach for questions.
The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty to do from crazy golf to walking in the mountains. It was also easy to jump on the train to Salzburg for the day.
Our only suggestion is that the addition of a washing machine would have made the week easier
