About this house rental
Beautiful 3 bedroom home on the clean Hudson River that flows directly from the Sacandaga River. You are 15-20 minutes away from Lake George village and Downtown Saratoga/Saratoga Race Track. Less then ten minutes away from West Mountain, 45 minutes to Gore mountain and close to many snowmobile trails and hiking paths. Great for a family get together, or a group of friends. A peaceful setting with amazing water view. Bring your boats, jet skis, or any other water toys. Private dock on the river and public boat launch right down the street. Very peaceful during the summer, fall, and winter months, with beautiful views during all year round...even watching the snowfall is beautiful!

The house was clean and the property was exactly like the pictures! Overall we were very happy with our stay. I was with fitness for a bachelorette party. We are all over 40 so we were looking for a place on the water, that was close to lake George, but that we were able to chill. It was perfect. The only down falls were that they need to invest in some new twin mattresses, we did not have extra towels, and there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms.

Serene and tranquil location right on the water. Spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, big great room with fireplace. Lovely quiet neighborhood.

This was a third time staying at this house and we always have a great time. Can’t beat the location. Fishing and kayaking right from your backyard is priceless.
Communication with the owner when needed is great.

I was excited to return to this location, as my first stay in 2018 was so enjoyable. The property’s location is truly fabulous for getting to Lake George, Saratoga Springs, and Queensbury. The peaceful waterfront setting is wonderful, and the neighborhood is very quiet. Communication with the host was good.However, I was a bit disappointed this time around as the house seems to be in need of some attention. The overall cleanliness was okay, but we found cookies and a sock in the pullout couch and there were no sheets for it. Several other small issues stood-out, such as a moldy washer, broken bedroom closed doors, either missing our burnt-out light bulbs and a broken side screen door. The grill was also dirty and small, and it took us about an hour to clean it before we could use it. Given the number of needed updates and repairs, the price felt too high for the value provided.
