About this house rental
Here, you’ll enjoy the luxurious feeling of having Chiemsee all to yourself.
Chiemsee, separated from the garden only by a country road, offers spectacular views of the islands, the lake, and the mountains from every living room and bedroom. The house was extensively renovated in 2014–15 and welcomes guests with a cozy and elegant atmosphere in a luxury country house style. It is surrounded by a 500 m² garden. A separate garage with a radio-controlled remote is available for one vehicle. There is a cozy tiled stove providing central heating in every room. All windows are made of soundproof double- and triple-glazed glass, so neither the activity on the beach nor the noise from the country road can disturb the peace inside. The spacious living room with dining area spans the entire length of the house and offers over 40 m² of space with two patio doors. A fully equipped country-style kitchen provides an additional dining option. On the garden level, there is a solid-wood sauna and a laundry room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The amenities are rounded out by 2 large HD TVs and 1 smaller HD TV, a DVD player, a Hi-Fi system, Internet radio, and free Wi-Fi.
In the nearby town center of Chieming, all daily necessities can also be found within walking distance. In the immediate vicinity of the house (within a radius of approximately 200 m) there is a beach, boat rentals, bike rentals, mini-golf, and the Chiemsee steamboat that sails to Men’s and Women’s Islands, a café/snack bar on the beach, an Italian restaurant with a beer garden open late every day, Lake and a traditional Bavarian restaurant with a beer garden and sun deck. The house is also cleaned once a week during the rental period. The on-site manager is available to help with any problems or questions.

Wonderful house. Great Amenities and the Views are spectacular. Host was pleasant and responsive. Had a wonderful time in Chiemsee. Paddleboarded on the lake, Golfed at the the course and ate at and wonderful restaurant just up the street. Loved our time their. Great House and Host!

We spent a week in the property as a family. We couldn’t have asked for more, from the guy showing us around on arrival to the house itself. Clean, well equipped and with the most amazing views over the lake.
Would definitely return and recommend.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön am Hang mit Blick auf den See.
Die Lage zum Wasser, Minigolfplatz, Restaurants sowie Geschäften des täglichen Bedarfs ist sehr gut.
Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Die Übergabe durch den Verwalter angenehm und problemlos.
Die Hauptstraße am Grundstück ist natürlich (wie beschrieben) sehr laut, allerdings bei geschlossenen Fenstern kaum hörbar.
Die Bilder geben die Lage und den Zustand des Hauses sehr gut wieder.
Punktabzüge gibt es leider aufgrund der enttäuschenden Abnahme und Kommunikation am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes. Die äusserst penible Inspektion des Hauses bei unserer Abreise führte zu zahlreichen Nachfragen durch den Verwalter. Eine beschädigte Thermoskanne, die wir nicht genutzt hatten und wohl von Vormietern beschädigt wurde, wurde uns ohne Rückfrage in Rechnung gestellt. Nur nach mehrmaliger Versicherung, dass diese nicht von uns beschädigt wurde, wurde widerwillig nachgegeben.
Der angewandte Grundsatz, wonach der letzte Mieter für Schäden von Vormietern verantwortlich gemacht wird, ist aus unserer Sicht nicht akzeptabel.
