In a fantastic location and in the middle of the mountains of the Maramures, this holiday paradise with a living / dining room, a bathroom (shower & toilet) and bedroom in the converted roof with another small bathroom with toilet offers all the comfort you would expect from a vacation in the Bergen can only wish for. The view over the wine valley to the mountains of the Rodna Mountains is unforgettable, which you can enjoy from the spacious terrace. If you relax by a beautiful campfire in the evening and watch the stars, you won't want to leave ... The house is lovingly furnished with many traditional furnishings. In this secluded location, you enjoy all the comfort associated with electricity. Cell phone reception is also not a problem. In the immediate vicinity you will find mushrooms, berries and herbs and will come across mineral water sources during extended hikes. The wine valley is famous for the good quality of the springs. The quiet location in the middle of a centuries-old cultural landscape with flower-rich hay meadows will enable you to observe and eavesdrop on the intact wildlife that surrounds you on long evenings that are mild on the terrace. A stay in this refuge will inspire and remain unforgettable. The holiday home offers enough space for a family with one or two children. Three adults can spend their holidays very comfortably in this house. Please note that the way to the house can only be driven by a four-wheel drive vehicle. However, we offer our guests arriving by normal car a transfer of luggage and a secure parking space for the vehicle about 10 minutes from the cloud house.

The house itself is a dream: modern comfort in a traditional building. With a view to die for. Wir waren für zehn Tage im Wolkenhaus und waren mittendrin: sanfte Hügel mit wilder Natur, das Vorbeiziehen von Schafherden, der Wind, die Ruhe. Es war ein traumhaft schöner Sommerurlaub in einer liebevoll eingerichteten Unterkunft. Das Wolkenhaus ist ein Idyll! Die Kommunikation mit Gastgeber Björn war ausgezeichnet und absolut zuverlässig. Das Haus entsprach genau unseren Wünschen und ist für alle sehr zu empfehlen, die absolute Ruhe und Natur genießen wollen. Der Vermieter ist ein Profi und weiß, was Gäste sich wünschen und wie man den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht.

Wunderschönes Häuschen mit genialer Aussicht.

Traumhafte Lage, fast am Ende der Welt 😉, mit hohem Entspannungsfaktor. Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit allem was man braucht. Perfekte Veranda zum Verweilen und um die schöne Aussicht zu genießen. Wanderungen auf die umliegenden Berge möglich aber meist mit einem kleinen Abenteuer verbunden, da es keinerlei Wegzeichen und manchmal auch keinen Weg mehr gibt. Also genau das richtige für uns Pfadfinder. Auch die Betreuung durch den Vermieter war hervorragend. Einzig die Zufahrtsstraße ist etwas herausfordernd. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt aber sehr genossen und konnten super entspannen können. Gerne würden wir wieder einmal im Wolkenhaus Urlaub machen.

We loved our stay at the Cloud House. The location is unbeatable - the views from the house are beautiful - and the house is extremely comfortable with all the facilities you could need. The only minor down side is that the house it at least 2km up an unpaved road which was a bit difficult with our hire car.

Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist einfach aber ausreichend eingerichtet. Ist bei längerem Aufenthalt nur für 2 Personen zu empfehlen. Ein kleiner Hinweis, das Haus ist nur mit einem hochbeinigen Offroadfahrzeug zu erreichen. Der Vermieter hilft jedoch beim Gepäcktransport, wenn man das Auto bei ihm im Tal abstellt. Von dort sind es ca. 3km.

Wir haben uns superwohl gefühlt, mitten in der Natur zwischen Hirten, Schafen, Holzhäusern, Kühen...

Das Wolkenhaus war für uns ein traumhafter Ort, ein Rückzugsort mit Blick in die Weite. Wandern der Nase nach ohne Wanderwege, Lesen auf der Veranda und auf der Wiese drumherum. Was will man mehr! Das Häuschen und seine Ausstattung sind perfekt, alles da, was der westeuropäische Mensch so für sein Wohlbefinden braucht. Die Gemütlichkeit im Haus haben wir dank des sommerlichen Wetters kaum ausgenutzt. Die Abgeschiedenheit und die etwas abenteuerliche Straße dort hin verlangen gute Organisation was das Einkaufen betrifft. Das macht ein bißchen Abenteuergefühl, was es Dank des perfekten Hauses eigentlich gar nicht ist. Mangels Regen waren die Wasserspeicher nicht ganz gefüllt, aber Björn hat verlässlich dafür gesorgt, daß sie nicht zur Neige gingen. Wir haben uns superwohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank Björn und Florentina!

Ganz großartige Erholung in einer Natur, wie wir sie in Österreich vor 200 Jahren auch noch hatten

Großartiger Ort. Erholung, Erholung, Erholung. Wunderschönes Panorama. Schafherden, Schäfer. Im Haus alles bereit für vollkommen entspannende Tage. Wunderbar großes Bett, in dem man gerne auch tagsüber schläft. Ganz freundlicher Gastgeber, der da ist wenn man ihn braucht, obwohl man ihn selten braucht, da ohnehin alles da ist. Die Straße ist schlecht, das Langsamfahren gehört zur Erholung dazu. Man kann von dort ist jeden Tag eine andere Route in ein anderes Seitental wählen. Wir wurden 7 Tage lang IMMER WIEDER neu von der großartigen Natur überrascht, die Menschen mit bescheidenen Mitteln für sich nutzen. Wer ein bisschen Italienisch kann, wird auch mit Menschen von dort spreche können. Wir fanden ausschließlich sehr nette Personen ! Großartiger Ort, um sich zu erholen. Wir taten es !

Ein guter Ort um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Ich war hier mit drei Kindern (19,16,15) und mein mittlerer Sohn kam nach Hause mit der Erkenntnis, dass er zu viel Zeit am Computer verbringt. Ideal für Lesen, Spielen, Wandern. Wahrscheinlich nicht für jeden.
