Located in Moorea-Maiao, this lovely house for $365 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. In a fenced property of more than 1,100 m2, you can let your children enjoy the garden without fear. Many fruit trees (lemon, Kava, papaya, coconut, chilli, wild basil, green onions, grapefruit, banana) will complement your meal freshly caught fish lagoon in the day. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, a kitchen with dining room, a nice covered patio for brunch, 3 bathrooms and 1 small bungalow suspended waterfront. At your disposal: crockery, pillows, sheets, a cot, a changing table, 3 kayaks to walk on the turquoise blue lagoon. The island of Moorea is famous for being one of the most beautiful account of French Polynesia. Featuring beautiful fish lagoons and beautiful white sand beaches over which proudly enthroned lush mountains, it is the postcard image that are most people when mentioning the name of Tahiti. Besides the fact that the island of Moorea is the closest to Tahiti (30 minutes by boat and 10 minutes by plane) and is served a dozen times a day, it also offers many tourist attractions. The tour of the island is 64 km. The points of interest are: an international golf course, numerous perspectives, including that of Moorea gazebo that overlooks the two bays, including the famous Cook's Bay. The Dolphinquest the Intercontinental Hotel, which also hosts the clinic of sea turtles. Land activities include hiking or horseback trips into 4x4 or quad in the middle of the pineapple fields or in the mountains and forests of Mape. This is the most amazing VRBO. We loved the rustic house. Everything is so charming. The location is amazing. The snorkeling out front is incredible. The front yard is perfect for hanging out with your family. We loved the huge picnic table on the lanai. It was perfect for family dinners and games. We also loved the privacy of the bungalow. Thank you Teva for the best family vacation ever!!

I am giving honest review so that you know what to expect as i wish i knew this to make decision whether to book based on pro and con.
PRO: The owner Teva is super nice from online booking to end of the trip. The house view is spectacular, lagoon is the backyard. The water was calm for kayaking every day. You can see fish from the kayak without the need to get off and snorkel. My 2 kids 11 and 15 enjoyed very much kayaking. We as family loved putting chairs by the shore, watching sunset and having dinner by the beach. There was clothes washing machine.
CON: Mosquitoes inside the house. House has no air condition nor ventilation. The only ventilation was the bathroom windows with open holes to outside but no screen covers so those were Mosquitoes and flies entry ways. All doors and windows had no screens so we couldn't leave them open to let ocean breeze in as afraid of gettjng more flies and Mosquitoes. There are fans in the house, but that were all we got. All of us got Mosquitoes bites all over our legs. The only protection we got at night during sleep were in the Mosquitoes nets over 2 king beds in the 2 bedrooms. My kids were so afraid of the Mosquitoes that they hid in the bed under the net the entire time when they are inside the house. We had to burn the Mosquitoes repellent coils day and night and breathe in the insense smoke to avoid Mosquitoes bites.
This house would have been a great experience for us had there were screen doors as there was no A/C.

We had a wonderful time at the Lagoon House. It was clean and well organized, with everything we needed. The kids loved playing on the beach, and we also kayaked and snorkeled in the lagoon. We should have spent more time in the bungalow, which was so relaxing. Our only concern was the grass sprouts which attracted tons of bees. We didn't have any real problems but were just a bit worried for the kids. Overall it was a great stay and we'd happily return!

We really liked the layout of the property with 3 bathrooms and open living space. Even though there was no A/C, the fans and the breezes kept us comfortable and mostly bug free. Having clotheslines was helpful. The deck by the bungalow was perfect for watching sunsets and star viewing. We had a very friendly kitty that adopted us and provided lots of entertainment and sweetness. The kayaks were great and easy to launch and put away. The snorkeling was wonderful right in front of the house. Being close to the Tiki Village added local ambiance with the drums. Saw rays and sharks right off the beach. Would definitely come back…could have used a few more towels and less restrictive internet. Needed more toilet paper and paper towels. Would have liked hand soap and a hair dryer. Overall, a great time!

We loved being right on the beach! You can snorkel or kayak at anytime. The water was often so clear that you could see fish and coral from above the water. The home is spacious and had many appliances. We appreciated the mosquito nets as two people in our family have bad reactions. Great activities and shops only a short drive away.

Beautiful location! Lock the doors when you go out in the water- we didn’t think about locking up when we went out on the water altogether and our Nintendo switch and 4 underwater flashlights were stolen. They obviously just grabbed what was left out and didn’t go through our stuff (there were more valuables in suitcases etc)
Anyway- the location is so great it was a blessing not to have the electronics!

Our family had a nice stay at this home. The location was easy to find and had nearby grocery stores and restaurants. The beach access is definitely a huge bonus and we enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board. The water was so clear and calm at times we could see the fish from the surface without the use of our snorkels. We also appreciated the 3 full bathrooms and plenty of beds. The sunsets were amazing and the beach was very clean.

We loved our stay at this property. It had everything we needed, was lovely and spacious and best of all was right on the beach. We spent our days kayaking, snorkelling and relaxing in the back yard. It is perfect for larger families. It has everything you need for self catering and isn't far from amenities like shops, restaurants etc. Ideally you would have your own form of transport.

Thank you for sharing your home with us. My wife and I loved staying here. We enjoyed the kayaks on the lagoon every day and made dinner every night in your kitchen. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The market down the street was an easy five minute walk and was very well stocked with groceries. I hope we can return here again soon. Thank you, Teva. We had a great time.

Enjoyed Our Stay
We really enjoyed and had an amazing vacation. The kids particularly loved kayaking and the beautiful yard. I also found the water filter/fountain a great help! It is just a few steps to Tiki Village. We were a family of 8, and I would gladly recommend this place.

The house worked really well for our family of nine. There is plenty of room, and the location on the water and in walking distance to a local market was great.

We were a group of 6 Canadians on a 5-day stay at Teva's villa, basically their family home away from home. Easy to find (we rented two cars) just as advertised, comfortable house, very clean, with large bedrooms, we used three bedrooms and three bathrooms, large convenient kitchen with all the pots you may need, , big enjoyable living room and large covered deck which came handy we we had a few tropical storms. We did not have time to use the canoes nor paddle boards but they were there. Right on the beach, the lagoon, so you have to get quite far for any depth of water, very nice and warm water. Lovely garden with lounge chairs to enjoy the view of the waves breaking over the reef in the distance. A neigbour's dog adopted us and kept us company, tho' not entering the house, very well trained. Very close (walking distance) to a nice small supermarket and restaurant with a friendly and chatty owner. All of us enjoyed the house enormously. Furthermore, dealing with the owner was easy and efficient, Teva was very responsive at all times and arranged for internet access for us at no charge. Great dealing with him, very friendly. We wish we were still there ☺ Within easy driving distance to all the "must-see" on the island, if you don't drive, bus stop neaby to go around the island..

I can't say enough about this place. Let me break it down into three categories: the place, the host, and our experience.
The Place
The place is absolutely incredible--better than the pictures. It's not only right on the water, but it has direct access to some of the most beautiful parts of the lagoon.
The location is absolutely perfect in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors but not too far from Haru point (2.5 miles?) where there's a few restaurants (which are good), some shops, one of the only ATM's, an awesome beachside bar/cafe at Les Tipaniers hotel (which also has a nice beach), and a couple different grocery stores.
The house itself was very nice and clean with plenty of space. And the backyard is incredible. The owner also has 3 kayaks (1 triple and 2 singles), which we used all the time. Now, here's the thing you need to know if you don't know much about Moorea: there's not a lot of access to the water apart from the 3-4 public beaches and a few other pull outs. The fact that you have direct access to the water--some of the most beautiful water on the island--AND a nice little beach, AND free kayaks is incredible! Oh, and the house comes with ice-cold filtered water, a nice big table outside under a covering so you can still eat and hang out outside while it rains, the kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of beds and sleeping and living space, the main beds have mosquito nets if you want them (we used them, though the mosquitos weren't too bad), and a perfect view of the incredible sunset.
I could go on and on, but this place is amazing!

Teva was fantastic. Extremely quick responses and if we had any question or a need, he responded right away and he even gave some some tips and advice for while we were staying. We had some scheduling issues (long story) and Teva worked very well with us and truly gave us a great experience. Speaking of which...

Moorea is absolutely stunning. You've probably already seen the pictures. A few recommendations:
- 1 week stay would be ideal. 2 days is not enough.
- Definitely do a whale tour (if it's the season) and 3 hour jet ski tour. Lagoonaorium is great too.
- A robber did come into our house at night and steal some cash because we left the back door unlocked. Be sure to always lock up (cars, house, etc.). But this goes for any traveling of course. There's virtually no violent crime on Moorea, so don't be scared, just wise.

Nous avons déjà séjourné dans cette propriété. Elle correspond tout à fait à l'idée de vacances familiales au bord de mer avec un super jardin ombragé. Et dans la maison, il y a tout ce qu'il faut !

Best Relaxing Vavation Ever!
Super beautiful, laid back house. Loved the rustic island feel. Epic snorkeling right out front. The kayaks were so fun. Tie your paddles to the kayak if you plan to jump in and swim. You can walk to a little store down the street to get fresh bread every morning. The sun set every evening was beautiful. Our family loved it that it had no wifi. It was great to tune out and reconnect with each other. Don't change a thing Teva. Your house is perfect.

La maison correspond tout à fait à notre attente, bien équipée,très grande ; elle peut accueillir au moins huit personnes.
Le jardin, bien planté et entretenu permet de profiter de l'ombre en ayant vue imprenable sur le lagon.
L'accès à la plage est immédiat et le bain est parfait pour les enfants.
J'ai adoré dormir dans le petit faré au bout du jardin : au matin, réveil avec vue directe sur la mer, le rêve ! Et pourtant nous vivons en Polynésie depuis 40 ans ...
C'est une maison que j'ai déjà recommandé à tous mes amis qui cherchent un point de chute pour les w-e et le vacances

Ma famille et moi avons été ravis de séjourner dans cette maison.
Elle est grande, conviviale et surtout bien équipée.
On s'attendait à un équipement standard, on a été agréablement surpris a ce niveau la.
Quant au jardin, il est beau et bien entretenu.
La plage quant est superbe.
On a pu admirer un magnifique coucher de soleil en fin de journée.
On a passé un week-end formidable.

Je recommande cette maison a tous ceux qui veulent profiter de bons moments de détente en famille ou entre amis.

Great vacation place on the island
The house made my vacation, it was located on a small lagoon and is accessed by the road next to the Tiki Village and was quiet with a lovely back yard to sit out and relax. Bring bug replant the mosquitos are serious!!! The rooms and bathrooms were clean and a good size and outside bungalow was perfect. The house is 10 mins driving for the ABC grocery store (closed on Sunday) and has just about everything you would need. The house is 40-45 mins driving from the Ferry or 35 mins from the airport, driving at 40 or 60 Kmh. Sunsets and star gazing on clear nights was great to do from the beach and the kayaks were perfect to take out and snorkel with.
