I booked this cabin at the last minute. The cabin had everything needed to make your stay enjoyable.
The property managers/owners were easy to get in touch with and responded quickly.

We loved the "dog" decor touches as well as the bowls, etc that were available for dogs. Property is beautiful and has a great view. We would stay again!

The house was perfect for our 2 night stay. Communication was clear and thorough leading up to our stay and then the day of check out. The driveway could use some help as we didn’t know if it was safe pulling up to the top when arriving late in the dark the first night. The king bed was missing a fitted sheet but we found spare sheets and made it work. Besides that the house was very clean and just what we needed.

Harleys Hideaway was a great set up for us. Wonderful morning panoramic views, spacious enough to accomodate 4 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby, stocked with all you need for a great weekend getaway with access to awesome hiking and barbecue. Super close to a moderate hike to a small gorge with waterfall. Had a great time!

We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to Hawksnest. Location is up on mountain in neighborhood so definitely want 4x4 during winter.

Very comfortable cabin. Comfortable beds and good hot water and water pressure. It was snowing when we arrived and 4x4 was required to get to the cabin. The driveway was snow and ice covered and even with 4x4 was impossible to ascend. We parked at the bottom of the drive way. Very responsive management. I could not get pilot light started on fireplace and a maintenance man was out to help us within 30 minutes. Lots of games in the cabinent, cd player/radio. Overall great place!

Loved the cabin and enjoyed seeing deer and even a black bear while there! The house was clean and welcoming and our dog, Stella, was thrilled to be able to join us too. Thanks again!

The place was clean but the light in the kitchen didn’t work forcing us to use a light from the bedroom. The driveway had too much snow and was impossible to park. Not to mention our car slid off the side into the tree. We had to drag all our luggage up the hill in the snow on the slippery driveway. The fireplace did not work as the pilot light would not come on. Both bathroom doors would lock but push right open. The location is great if you want snow but be prepared with an equipped vehicle.

Enjoyed the stay. House was nice. Loved the porch with the Amazing view. Overall a very comfortable well-maintained property. Two items to note: 1. When they say 4WD, they mean it. Driveway could be treacherous.
2. Gotta ding them on the "grill" or lack thereof. It's a tailgate model and all the gas bottles were empty. We were planning on steaks one night but had to make other plans.

Harley’s Hideaway is a charming cabin nestled into the mountain side, centrally located to Boone and Blowing Rock. The driveway is not for the faint of heart, or vehicles without four-wheel-drive! We fell in love with this charming home! While we really loved the house, it was not clean… It was filthy! And the throw rugs were nasty… We felt we could not take our shoes off, even after we had vacuumed, and at one point scrubbed the living room floor on the area leading to the bedrooms. Their cleaning service or property manager is doing them a great disservice. That was unfortunate because it really is a beautiful home… And the bonus is..: It’s dog friendly!

This was a great property with beautiful views. Being at nearly 5,000 feet led to a wonderful relief from the heat. The property’s proximity to Otter Falls Trail was a major bonus.
