We've stayed here several times and always enjoyed it.

We very much enjoyed the house for a 3-day weekend. Our group included teens, couples, singles, and grandparents. Plenty of room to spread out, nice common spaces when we wanted to be together, but enough bedrooms and places to be when we wanted privacy. Great kitchen, very well supplied!

Stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed every moment of it. House was as described. 7 bedrooms. 4 bathrooms. Linens and plenty of towels included. Kitchen with adequate cooking utensils. Plenty of open space for everyone to enjoy. Lots of space to sit and eat. Great deck space at the house. Perfect firepit for evening relaxation. The dock area was perfect and stocked with plenty of equipment for kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely use this home again.

This property is so spacious and had the most amazing views of the lake! With such good April weather, a favorite past time was just staring at the lake from the large picture windows. The home is well stocked and has space for the whole family; we enjoyed that we could all eat dinner at the same table, which is especially rare in rental homes. It was a pleasant surprise to find so many games, books, and toys for everyone in our party (ages 5 and up). Our hosts were responsive and helpful, and the welcome book in the home gave great information on the local area. We loved walking in the neighborhood and to the park and had great experiences with all the neighbors. We would absolutely stay again!

This house is amazing! As soon as we walked through the door we could see the lake out of the huge windows. House was so spacious and had literally everything we needed. Kids loved the kayaks and the paddle boat. The pool table was a big hit! We will be back for sure!

From the booking process to the time we left everything was wonderful. Kermit was so helpful when booking because we were looking for a place large enough and close enough to DC to hold a small class of high school seniors and their chaperones. This place was perfect. The bunk room had enough room for the girls to stay in and the other rooms housed 2 sets of parents, teacher and the young men in the class. The view is absolutely beautiful of the lake. The home was furnished with more than enough kitchen equipment to make dinner and breakfast. The linens that were furnished were great. The beds were very comfortable. I wish that we had been able to spend more time at the home itself and not on the road doing activities. It was a great central location to DC though. I would love to use the property again if we are in the area.

I don't feel that the pictures listed truly give justice to how wonderfully this house is. Lots of space, well stocked and ample room for all. We're already talking about coming back next year.

Have rented this property multiple times. It is a great spot for spending a weekend with friends. Awesome kitchen, plenty of table space, and tons of seating.

We were a group of 13 coming together for a family Christmas. We came from different parts of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this property so much room to spread out. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen space more than accommodated our group. The owner was available and was very nice to let us check in early because of weather, we are looking to come back either in the summer time or maybe another Christmas!

Since our families have grown and added their new families we now have a tradition to meet and celebrate before Christmas . For ten years we have met at Lake Anna. Lots of different houses. Everyone agreed this was the best The home was.bright, clean, well stocked kitchen and open space for the 17 of us !! Owner was terrific to work with . Quick responses ! And very considerate. Hope to go next year.!

First, the host was wonderful with quick, thorough and very friendly responses. The house itself is in a great location, and is in very good condition with comfortable furnishings. There is lots of space to spread out but also for everyone to come together. Highly recommend this house!

Our family stayed here for a long weekend and it was simply amazing. The location, location, location could not be beat. The water was incredibly warm, and we loved all the amenities of the boathouse. Everyone loved kayaking and paddleboarding and the kids were delighted with the sand box. We cooked all our meals in and the kitchen was exteremely well equipped. Don't hesitate -- book it!

Fantastic views, well stocked kitchen, plenty of room for our group to spread out. We loved the location and being on a quieter end of the lake. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. Perfect house for our annual Labor Day weekend!

It is a lovely house with nice views of the lake, a superb dock offering sun, shaded, and enclosed areas, water sports equipment (kayaks, paddle boards, etc.), and the option to bring pets. The kitchen was well stocked - important to us as we cook all our dinners. It was the first kitchen I've seen with three microwaves. We had a problem with the air conditioning on the upper floor, but a repair person was there the morning after we called and fixed it. The owner/manager was very responsive to our questions.

Our extended family came together for a wonderful family time! It was great having everyone eating together with plenty of room, lots of games, and a fabulous dock/screened-in boathouse for all to enjoy! The kayaks and paddle boards were used every day and we all enjoyed a relaxing, fun time! It is a spacious home with plenty of amenities! Great place!

This is a great property for large family groups. There's plenty of bedrooms. There are lots of things to do even if the weather is bad. The kids and grandkids enjoyed playing pool, ping pong, and foosball. It was a fun weekend.

The house was just the right size for our family and we had more than enough room. We had a lot of fun and so appreciate being able to stay there. The only thing that was a disappointment to us was the house in the downstairs was not clean. The mattress pads had dog hair on them and we have two grandchildren that have severe allergies and we could not let them sleep in the bunk bed room. There was mold in the bathroom and lots of bugs that were dead. We just wanted someone to know about these items, so when someone else stays there, those items can be addressed. We really did have a great time and hopefully will be renting the house again for our Christmas time together.

This was the second time in as many years that we have stayed here. Once again, the house was amazing. As before, there was plenty of space for all 12 of us and the kitchen was well stocked. And we loved hanging out by the fire pit. Unfortunately, the cold weather didn't allow us to enjoy the dock and kayaks like we did last year. The owner, Kermit, is very responsive to any texts/emails you send. This is definitely a home we would love to rent again.

Everything went smoothly, it was a nice calm place to be. We had a lot of fun. We didn't get to use the lake much, it was a little to chilly but still had a lovely time enjoying the view. And the fire pit was on the back patio was toasty. The only issue we had it didn't look like the floors were cleaned before our arrival and none of the bathrooms had toilet paper and there were only two spare rolls in the pantry. There were also only two trash bags. Fortunately there's a store close by we were able to stock up.

This house was absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views of the lake. They had everything there we could’ve wanted including kayaks, a paddle boat, paddle boards, pool table, and more! This house is so accommodating for large groups. My entire family of 16 people were able to sit at the table together for dinner and spend a lot of quality time together. I would 1000% recommend booking this property. Truly breathtaking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was in a lovely neighborhood and had so many amenities for all ages. The view was amazing. We enjoyed sitting out on the dock in the morning and watch the sunrise. We will definitely be coming back. Kermit was most accommodating!

15 of us stayed here for a week in the summer and it was perfect. We really enjoyed the dock and boathouse which had plenty of rafts , paddle board, paddle boat, kayaks, etc. The house was plenty large with great bedrooms and bathrooms and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and pantry. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

The property is beautifully situated on the private side of Lake Anna, with a well-stocked boathouse. My kids enjoyed using the provided kayaks and paddleboards, as well as the life jackets. The house itself accommodated four couples and kids with seven bedrooms and four bathrooms. Sharing a bathroom was not a huge deal. The kitchen was well stocked with all cutlery, utensils, and cookware that we needed. The only gripe was the knives were very dull and we were unable to find a knife sharpener. The other minor hassles were the beds were not made with fresh linens when we arrived, however, the linens were placed on the beds for us to make. This may have been entirely due to the Covid situation, so I definitely understand. However, I would advise guests to bring their own pillows, as the pillows available were quite hard. One other inconvenience was we had to clear all the trash and drive it over to the trash facility about a mile away. Not something I'm used to doing when renting at VRBOs. Typically, the trash is just put in the big blue trash bins for trash day collection. Again, these are just minor things for guests to be aware of when renting this lovely place. Our families had a great time and enjoyed the use of this lovely home.

This is the first time my family did a Lake vacation and it was GREAT. The house was clean and had everything we needed inside the house and out. Amazing back yard and dock. Loved the firepit. We all really enjoyed it.
