Situated in Cooke City-Silver Gate, this attractive house for $789 per night is a great option for your next break. Located four miles from Yellowstone National Park in Cooke City, this mountain-town retreat offers three levels of indoor and outdoor living, with stunning views of Mt Republic. You and your guests will enjoy the comfortable communal spaces as well as the ability to spread out in this spacious home with 2,200 square feet of living space. Both the main and lower levels have their own living room and dining areas. The lower level has an outdoor covered patio, and the main floor has a large deck in the front with mountain views. There is a full kitchen on the main level and a kitchenette downstairs. On the lower level, there are 2 Bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed, and the other has two twin beds. There is another queen bed in the living area of the lower level and two more pull-out twin beds in the ping-pong loft above the main level. The bedroom on main level has a king size bed and a rollaway bed Hiking and fishing opportunities surround Cooke City. Barronette Peak Cross Country Ski Trail inside Yellowstone Park is minutes away. The Lamar Valley is 15 miles away. Bring your binoculars or spotting scope to view a wide variety of wildlife. The base rate is for up to 5 people and extra $50 per person up to eight

This cabin is located 5 min from the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone and also in a great location to drive the Beartooth Highway. Cooke City is a very small town but has gas, dining and shopping for basic essentials. The cabin was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. It would easily accommodate 8 people. There is no cell phone service in Cooke City but the wifi worked well so we were able to email and make wifi calls and texts. The owner was quick to respond to any questions I had. We used the cabin as our home base for our week at Yellowstone and would definitely stay again.

We have rented many VRBO properties over many years, but this one is the very best. Excellent furnishings (much of it hand carved) and appointments. Every kitchen item you might need. Great point of departure for exploring Yellowstone Park. The host was also the best we have experienced.

We came for UTV riding. I've been here at least 5 times and this is the first time using VRBO. Great experience!
Kitchen is stocked really well! Seasonings, plastic wrap, ziplocs, dishes, dish soap, paper towels, etc! Laundry soap and dryer sheets with a nice set of washer/ dryer.
There's extra blankets in the bedrooms, beautiful windows that we had open daily (turned off the heat and just enjoyed the mountain air!).
Convenient place in town! We walked daily for breakfast and supper. And also for some shopping!

This property was perfect for multi family use. Well equipped with everything you could need. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Every time we asked a question he was back with us quickly with an answer. Would definitely stay again and recommend to other.

The property was AMAZING and just as described in listing. It was really more than we had expected. It was beautiful, spacious, clean, and the view was spectacular!! The location was perfect for our day trips in to Yellowstone and we fell in love with Cooke City!! We hope someday to be able to return to this area and stay at this property.

No one was able to take a hot shower it was warm for 2 to 3 minutes then would go cold

Great location for skiing or sledding or both in Cooke City. Walk to anything in town. Great trail access. Very clear check-in instructions and great communication with owner/manager. If you are staying with more than people, at least one bed will be in the common area, but otherwise perfect for a group week-end with everything you need to have a great time.

Had a wonderful time in Cooke city, my husband and family went snowmobiling! I stayed and enjoyed watching the wildlife! A family of foxes live close to the cabin and I enjoyed watching them everyday. Seen 8 moose in town and Buffalo. Amazing trip!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Cooke City. The house was well equipped, very clean and beautifully decorated. It was very convenient and easy to find. We met the owner who built the home with a friend. The craftsmanship and artistry were amazing. The home is very spacious with a game room upstairs, would be an ideal place for a large family. We loved the little town of Cooke City!

This home is amazing and very very clean. The views from every window are gorgeous! You can walk right up the street into town. Our group did a 2 day ATV trip and left right from the home. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone traveling in the area. You won’t be disappointed!!!!!!

The quality and craftsmanship of this home is amazing. Almost everything we needed was there. We felt so blessed to stay at this home. It provided comfort and space for visiting family. It is unlike any other rental home that we have experienced in this beautiful area. You can tell that time, love and talent were invested into this home. We would highly recommend this home and the stunning view from its windows to anyone!

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful stay even though the Yellowstone's Northern gate was closed due to flooding. The house was wonderfully comfortable. The people of Cooke City were very friendly. We hiked the Lower Lady of the Lake trail and enjoyed seeing the different animal tracks, melting snow and the views of outer Cooke City.

Lovely and Comfortable even with a power outage

Northeast side of Yellowstone
Wonderful place to stay with all the amenities of home. Lots of driving, but driving through Lamar Valley every day was a joy with all the wildlife activity.

We wanted to be closer to Lamar Valley. It was a short 20 minute drive from the property. The house was immaculate, had everything we needed and then some. Beds were so comfortable! Cooke City was an adorable mountain town that I want to explore more! Loved all of it! Cannot get over the special touches in this house!

This property was just at the edge of town on the main street. It was wonderful to walk to all of the nearby services. Cooke City has a lot of great history and I’m glad we spent an afternoon walking around here. The inside of the home was amazing and exactly as described and shown in the photos. We didn’t recognize the property right away as the exterior of the house was a bit unkept and could probably use a bit of yard work and exterior maintenance. The winter must be very harsh up here. The need for a little TLC outside is our only suggestion as the rest of the property was far beyond our expectations. This kitchen was probably the best equipped kitchen we have ever stayed at. The art and character inside the home shows the love and care that the owners had when it was originally built. Staying at the northeast corner of the park gave us great access to amazing fishing and wildlife viewing. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking at staying in Cooke City or Silver Gate.

We stayed in the master bedroom downstairs and when the younger people decide to stay up late playing cards and partying a bit…..we could not here a thing.
I do wish the twin bed would have been in a private room rather than out in the open.

My family of 12 was here for 5 days. The layout was perfect. Lots of room. The mix of queen-size beds and twins fit our group perfectly. The beds were comfortable. The space worked great for us. We rented the big house and the daisy loft. The multiple kitchens allowed out group to prep meals and also to take off for the Park or other adventures (horseback riding and fishing) at different times without disturbing others. The large kitchen and patio gave us great space to gather for dinner. My family was very pleased — said one of the top places we’ve stayed. Steve and Rebecca are super responsive lives the trip. Would highly recommend this property — and we’ve stayed at several.
