Situated in Indiana, this lovely cabin for $205 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Spend your next getaway or family retreat in the 'Old Hickory Cabin', located just 1/2 mile west of the quaint village - Nashville, Indiana. Beautifully decorated and well appointed, you will find this cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It's close enough to all the activities, shops and restaurants you want, but just far enough away for you to have the privacy you desire. Old Hickory cabin sits on 4 wooded acres with a large deck in back that overlooks the woods (and hickory trees) and a small creek in the valley. You will feel like you're in a tree house with the views below. It's a great place to bird watch and spot the abundant wildlife. Just inside the front door, to the left, you'll find the living room is one step up. It features a 2 story Brown County stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings, wide plank pine flooring with hand cut nails. You will immediately notice the french doors that open onto the deck. While you're relaxing inside, you will enjoy amenities such as Wi-Fi, a 43' flat screen smart TV, Roku with Hulu and Disney Plus, CD stereo and a couch that opens into a queen bed. The entry, kitchen and bathroom are on the main level and have tiled floors. The entry has a large wonderful 'old hickory' style coat rack with a mirror. The custom cabinets are unique and have tin inserts in the upper doors. The kitchen is well furnished with cooking and eating utensils. The full bathroom contains a tub/shower unit, single sink, toilet and plenty of storage. The upstairs bedroom has great views too. A brand new (2022) memory foam mattress, 'old hickory' twig style headboard and handmade quilt add to the rustic charm of this cabin. You'll find the cabin is well thought out and the 1000 sq ft floor plan makes good use of the space. Old Hickory cabin is a wonderful relaxing place to get away from the real world, slow down and reconnect with yourself and loved ones. Be our guests! Located just outside of the main corridor on a main but quiet road. Cabin is very comfortable and quiet. Exactly as described. Would recommend bringing an air mattress instead of the sleeper sofa (personal choice) and the main bed is very firm. As a personal choice also, next time I will bring my own pillows for comfort. Loved our stay and will hopefully be back again!!

My wife and I love this little cabin. We rented this cabin in 2019 as our first getaway together. 4 years later, we’re married and have a little one now. This cabin holds a very special place in our hearts. Julie is super nice. The cabin is very clean with everything you need for a quiet getaway. We couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Pros: Location was nice, house and property was very cute, and the kitchen was well stocked. No cleaning fee. The owner was quite nice to work with when we made a couple of changes. Cons: The location may have been nice, but because it is on a main road, turning onto the road can be quite the experience. Although the house was cute, unfortunately my family has issues with allergies and it was obvious the house was quite dusty and could use a nice deep clean. The other thing is that the home was listed with a bedroom but it was only a loft, so if you want some type of privacy, there is none. All in all we enjoyed the place. A plus for us was that there was no cleaning fee - which a lot of places do have.

Old Hickory cabin was exactly what we expected. Close to town but you feel miles away. Cabin was clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and we had wifi which helps when you're still working some even while away. We will definitely stay again!

Four day stay, just the wife and I. What a beautiful cabin and Julie couldn’t have been a better hostess. If I had any concern it would be that at 76 the stairs got to me late in the day.

Location is beautiful and convenient to town. Fun layout of cabin. Beautiful back deck. Very private. ONLY Downside… we were able to get into the cabin, but we had to wait to meet up with the property manager on-site. She was nice and showed us around, but it really was inconvenient and unnecessary waiting 45 minutes and not a great use of our time or hers. Use VRBOs all of the time and have never had to meet property mgr. With this being said, we would recommend this place and would most likely stay again.

This is a cozy little cabin extremely close to downtown Nashville. It was comfortable, clean, and it worked out great for our 2-day getaway. Julie is very responsive and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Peaceful and quiet. Bed was great and we didn't get scared away when a 4 inch spider decided to visit us! Julie was very informative and even stopped by to help us with the TV programing. Overall I would highly recommend!

The cabin was very well kept and clean. Bed was comfortable, as most places we have stayed in the past were not! The area was very peaceful. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the cabin, as we were out exploring and hiking at the state park. Julie was easy to deal with and gave us information on a few places to try during our stay. Will definitely stay here again.
