Just 168 miles from the valley and you are surrounded by the largest stand of Ponderosa Pines in the world. Conveniently located less than 1/4 mile from Woodland Lake. Incredible mountain get away nestled in the rocks with amazing views of Adler Lake. This property has very unique landscaping and large fenced area for your dogs. THE PROPERTY DOES NOT HAVE AC--YOU MUST HAVE 4 WHEEL DRIVE IN THE WINTER Cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.The master bedroom is downstairs with a king size bed and private deck. Main bath is across the hall.The 2nd bedroom upstairs features 2 large queen size beds and also has its own private deck. The 3rd sleeping area is a large loft with a full bed. It comfortably sleeps 7. The cabin has a large beautiful deck with spectacular views of the lake. There is cozy patio furniture, bbq grill, and a large table for outdoor entertainment. Large family room with big screen TV that is open to the fully stocked kitchen and large dining area. The cabin also has a front sitting room with windows from floor to ceiling to kick back and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and again fantastic view of the lake. Perfect location in the heart of Pinetop-Lakeside within minutes of Woodland Lake, Scott Reservoir and Showlow Lake. Plenty of hiking and outdoor activities. Come escape from the hectic city/work life... slow down and enjoy the clean mountain air and friendly small town atmosphere. Outdoor enthusiasts will be amazed with the over 40 lakes and streams that offer up abundant fishing including bass, trout, pike, walleye, catfish, and crappie. Great property for a family with a dog, especially if you like to take your dog on walks in different terrain. Elder Lake is just down the street but there's also the larger Woodland Lake a short hike away. The home was well-stocked and clean.

We were attending a wedding at the nearby venue The Greenhouse, so my girlfriend and I, her mother, and her niece (and 3 toddlers) stayed at the cabin. It was a busy weekend, so we didn't get to relax and enjoy the amenities as much as we would have liked, but it's a great place. GREAT internet, which is rare in places like this. The kitchen was used extensively, and generally had everything we needed.
We also brought our dog along, and he enjoyed the stay as well. Plenty of room for him to do his business. Lots of great walking routes too.
This is listed in the description, but for further info for those that want to stay - the residence is situated on the crest of a hilly area. This means both routes to the house have considerable steep inclines to reach it. Our vehicles (VW SUV and 2WD Tacoma truck) were able to do this no problem with good weather. In winter I would not doubt the warning - bring a capable vehicle and probably chains.
Overall we really liked the place and will likely try to stay again.

Fantastic cabin, super clean, beautiful and equipped with everything you need to just have a good time with your loved ones. It is also very well located, with a gorgeous view to the lake. It is now on my favorite list. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin. So pretty and nicely decorated. Loved the huge “mud room” that connects the main living area to the outside deck. Very clean. Loved the close proximity to Elder Lake as well as the short hiking trail to Woodland Lake. Very nicely maintained property. We were sad not to be able to have nightly fires at the fire pit as the fire pit area looked so fun to gather around, but that was due to the fire restrictions in the area. Beautiful deck to relax on. Overall a great stay and we would rent again when coming to this area.

Very clean, comfortable cabin with incredible deck to hang out on and view the wild life from deer to coyotes and water fowl. Close to town and very quiet.

We were all thrilled with this cabin! It is beautifully decorated and every square inch of this place from top to bottom, inside and out, was immaculately clean!
The furniture from couches to beds were super comfy and having the extra sheets for our pets was so nice! We felt right at home here!
The ktchen was well stocked, had everthing we needed and more! Basic spices to get you started, some ziplocks and foil etc...the appliances are new, clean and efficient! And the entire kitchen is beautiful!
The deck and view amazing, quiet, safe neighborhood.. we didnt catch any fish here, but not for lack of trying! Its was really fun to walk right down your driveway to the lake!
The outdoor gated area for the dogs was perfect and just what we needed! Allowed them to be safe and secure when doing their thing! We did bring a fold up card table to block off the stairs so they could hang out with us on the deck!
I am so glad we rented this vrbo and we WILL be back! Dont hesitate to rent this place its awsome!

Beautiful neighborhood, great yard with rocks and decorations. Lovely patios! We didn’t know there was a cabin directly below the front deck with a large noisy family and a terrifying booming barking Rottweiler or whatever breed. We would not have booked the cabin if we knew the proximity of the deck to the house below. because that is where we spend most of our time.

We had such a great time at your cabin home. The back deck was such a wonderful space and we enjoyed walking to the lake and in the neighborhood. The home was so clean and my questions were immediately responded to when they came up. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Very easy check-in/out. Lots of games to keep entertained and a nice patio to relax and hangout. The lake was a short walk away and could be seen from the patio. Would stay again.

This property was great. The location was amazing and close to multiple lakes for fishing. We brought a small dog and the house was perfect for the pup. We had 4 adults and had plenty of space for all of us.

We went to celebrate my daughters birthday. We were worried as it had been raining the whole time getting there. The road to get up to the property is dirt and steap. We had no issues one of us in a clutch and the other an SUV. The property was amazing. Very clean and fit the four of us nicely. We loved the fireplace and the quite. We would love to come back to the property in the summer.

Really beautiful spot on Elder Lake. Quiet neighborhood. Saw deer grazing and playing in the yard/nearby. There's another amazing lake within walking distance and it has a great walking paved path, tennis courts, hiking trails and playground for kids. So much fun. If you are going in a rainy or wet season, you definitely need 4 wheel drive to get up road to the property. Would definitely consider renting again! We had a great time.

This place was a wonderful place to stay. Clean, fully stocked with everything you need, great location, pet friendly, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would recommend for others is bring a flashlight for the enclosed dog area, there is no lighting if you need to take your dogs out after dark.

My family had an amazing trip to Pinetop and we were lucky enough to stay in this cabin. Two lakes were a walk away. Great dining and shopping are close by. A large patio to eat and relax on. It was a much-needed getaway!

The cabin was clean and very comfortable. The large patio was so nice and the lake view at sunset was incredible. We would visit again.

The home was convenient with everything. Kayaks had holes, my kids were disappointed. Lake was quiet and private, that was awesome. As soon as I walked into the house my allergies went crazy, my family had a hard time breathing as the house was covered in cat hair. I’m not exaggerating. I do well with pets, I have one. This is why I chose this place! My daughter ended up sleeping with me while we had to alter the sleeping arrangements because of many spiders found in upstairs bedroom. I get that, comes with a cabin in the woods. WiFi didn’t work.

This is a lovely property in a great location. We spent three days with two kids and two dogs and had a wonderful time. The cabin is very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the deck and being so close to the lake. Easy access to hiking trails made it so we never had to leave; although, it's close enough to town that it's convenient to run to the store to pick up anything you might have forgotten to bring. The only thing to note is that, while there is a fenced yard, it is not accessible from the house. You have to walk outside and around, and a small dog (30lbs or less) can escape through the gate pretty easily. Just something to keep in mind if you are travelling with your dogs. Otherwise, the property is very pet-friendly. Prompt communication from the property manager along with the amenities (bikes, kayaks, fishing poles) makes this place worth visiting and returning to!

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint little getaway. Nicely decorated and they had everything we needed. The view on the deck was amazing. We hope to stay again real soon :)

Best Cabin with lake view!
This house was a perfect vacation experience and Lisa was quick to respond to our questions.
The large balcony overlooking Lake Edler was our favorite part of this amazing house. We enjoyed the cool air and daily afternoon rain, which was a nice break from our Phoenix heat! We brought our own dog gate to block off the exit from the balcony so our dog could enjoy the balcony without us worrying about him running off.
Another favorite experience was the short hike to Woodland Lake. Our dog loved hiking on the trail and the nice paved walkway around Woodland Lake. Edler Lake was beautiful with large weeping willow trees, grass and had a family of geese.
The house was immaculate and well furnished. The master bed was comfortable with a foam topper. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare any meal.
There was plenty of “dog sheets” to put on the furniture for our pet, and the gated yard was convenient and there was a pooper scooper available to pick up after our dog.
We plan to return to this house for future getaways. Thank you Lisa for providing us with a beautiful, relaxing vacation!
