Nestled in Varick, this attractive house for $440 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Summary: Newly renovated Waters Edge is great for families, friends and couples! Fill your days with kayaking, wine touring, grilling and swimming! Spend your nights cooking delicious meals, going out to eat in one of Genevas amazing restaurants, sipping Finger Lakes wines and brews by either fire pit, or star gazing. This newly renovated home still has it original cottage feel and is the perfect place to spend the day together, and return back to your own private accommodations at night! The Space: Water's Edge, located right on Seneca lake, is a beautiful unique Duplex with two separate living areas. Ideal for families and friends who want to spend the days together, and retreat to separate sleeping quarters at night. Water's Edge offers breathtaking lake views throughout the house. You will see some of the most beautiful sunrises while enjoying coffee on the balcony, or just staying cozy in bed. Our home offers 2 separate private living spaces. The first-floor unit is adorned with floor to ceiling glass doors, that give you a relaxed feeling and a beautiful view of the lake as soon as you enter. This space has an open floor plan, the kitchen is adjacent to the plush living room with a smart TV. Off to the right is a small bathroom, with a shower and all the amenities you will need after a long day on the lake. There is a queen sized bed in the bedroom area, and a bunk bed in a closed alcove for those extra loved ones sharing your lake experience. The second private living area is accessed through a separate entrance on the second floor. This area offers spectacular views, with a balcony where you can enjoy the calmness of the lake. The kitchen area opens up to a living area that hosts a smart TV, a pull-out couch, and an electric fireplace for cold evenings! There is a queen size bed located in a private bedroom. The bathroom in this second unit is also a shower only bathroom. Both units offer an awesome beach, dock, grill (propane provided), fire pit, and 2 kayaks with life jackets for your enjoyment. *If this property isn't right for you, please feel free to check out our other properties!* Please note, this house is only listed on vacation websites and anywhere else might be a scam, amenities are subject to change, guests are required to sign Get RED-y Vacations guest rental agreement prior to check in, cleaning and processing fees apply, and there is a camera at the entrance of the property. Guest Access: The duplex is rented as an entire property. The Neighborhood: We are in the middle of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, 10 minutes outside of downtown Geneva, and within 10 minutes of Hobart William Smith Colleges. Waters Edge is just a few minutes from Roy's Marina or Port's fine dining, and just a short drive from Watkins Glen State Park for some incredible hiking. Getting Around: Driving is the easiest way to get around. We have Uber, many wine touring options and local taxis. Other Things to Note: Please note: Neighbors live here all year long, please be respectful of them. The town has an ordinance of quiet hours, between 10pm -7am, it is enforced. The town ordinance, only allows 2 cars to be parked in the driveway. An additional car can be parked in the grass before the Railroad Our Train/RR crossing: we love our trains & barely notice/hear them. They pass infrequently (~1-2/24 hours), are short (

The property is in a great location - between Watkins Glen and Geneva. We visited both without driving a lot. We enjoyed our vacation even though it rained most of the time. The property has beautiful lake views and is in a quiet neighborhood. Too bad we couldn't enjoy the dock and beach firepit more.

Some Friends and I were coming up for race weekend. We decided to go with a VRBO, instead of the busy hotels downtown. The best move we ever made! The process was seamless. Once we arrived, you could immediately tell the place was recently renovated and looked better than the photos. It had all the amenities home and was extremely clean. Amazing views and very peaceful. I will definitely book again and for a longer period of time.

Wow what a beautiful, clean and modern property. You can tell there is a great deal of homeowner pride in this house. We loved it so much that we looked for real estate on the lake while visiting. The location is superb- on the wine trail, down the street from a delicious restaurant -Port Cafe- but the real star of the show was the lake front living back at the house. We fell asleep listening to the sound of the water each day and woke up to glorious views of sunrise. We can’t wait to come back to this property and bring family or friends to enjoy it with. We had the best time and will be back! Thank you Red-y vacations for a spectacular and memorable stay.

The multi unit was clean, nicely decorated, conveniently located and both units had incredible panoramic views of the lake. Property management responded to all our questions and were easy to work with. We would love to visit again in the future.

Great Finger Lakes getaway
The house was gorgeous and perfect for our low key Bachelorette weekend. The duplex was great so everyone could have their own space and not be piled on top of each other. The lake front access was amazing. We brought tubes and rope to float in the water, which was so fun. Close to lots of wineries and breweries. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed touring Hobart And William Smith Colleges and eating at wonderful local food restaurants while staying here. Kayaks and dock were lovely and the porches were great. A lovely place to relax and enjoy the Finger Lakes.

This house couldn’t have been more perfect for my group! The house is beautiful. The view is picturesque. The owner is very responsive. The dock is beyond ideal. The fire setup is well equipped. The area has great wineries in close proximity.
My group spent the weekend there for a girls trip where we just wanted to relax, swim, hang by the fire, visit some wineries and spend quality time together. This house offered all of that and more.
When planning for the group I had many questions prior for the owner and his response time was incredible. Also while at the house we had a few questions that needed some real time answers - I received those within an hour.
I would 100% stay at this property again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place in the area.

Wonderful girls weekend!
We had the cottage (both units) for a girls getaway weekend (7 girls). The units are well kept and the water location is terrific. Everyone was comfortable. The dock was a fantastic spot to sit. Wineries close by and Geneva a very short trip. Would highly recommend.

Return visitor
This is our third year at this property - we absolutely love it! You can't beat the view - especially waking up and seeing the sunrise before even getting out of bed. It's so peaceful to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee overlooking the lake as the sun comes up or out on the dock with a cheese plate and a glass of wine as it goes down. We love that the house offers both kayaks and a fire pit (something we've not had at previous houses in the area). The location is fantastic - so many great wineries and breweries within just minutes. The house is well maintained, and Chris is always very prompt to answer messages and has been great to work with. We'll absolutely continue to come back!

It really is a slice of Heaven!!!
We enjoyed our stay immensely. We used both of the units and they both exceeded our expectations. We happened to stay during a heat wave and boy did the ac come in handy. The use of the kayaks was a wonderful perk! The units are clean and very nicely decorated with a beach cottage theme(my favorite). I highly recommend either or both of these units.

We had such a great time during our stay! The house was just perfect, and had everything we needed. We loved that it was right on the lake with a dock, and was in a great location. Chris was wonderful leading up to our trip, and provided us with some great recommendations!

Waters Edge was amazing!
We loved staying here! The location was awsome and the views were breathtaking! The house is two separate units, which worked out great for us. We spent the day with out friends and then at night we were able to retreat to separate quarters. The house was take decorated very tastefully, it made us feel right at home. Our host was wonderful, she helped us plan our wine tour and gave us great recommendations for dinner and brunch. We can’t wait to come back and would recommend staying here to anyone!

The house was the perfect amount of space and so cute for our girls weekend getaway! It was conveniently located by so many wineries that we didn't have to spend too much time in the limo during our tasting. The house had everything we needed and we were lucky to have great weather and spend time in the water!

Great Home with a Lovely View!
We enjoyed our stay at your home! House was in a great location and is decorated beautifully. Perfect place for two families or several friends. The pier is great and we love the chairs at the end to sit and look over the lake. Great place for an early morning with a cup of coffee! Was able to use the fire pit and make s'mores one night.

Really nice place, Clean, Loved there was a upstairs and Down, View was good. Train Tracks very close sounded like coming into the house when it went by, but a good place for a getaway weekend. Lots to do in area, great view of lake. Would stay again..

Beautiful lakeside property
We stayed 4 nights late August and used the property as a base to explore the Finger Lakes area and beyond (Niagara Falls!). Simple & tasteful decoration, perfect place to chill. The kids used the kayaks for some boating on the lake. The view over the lake is stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Tranquility on the lake.
Wonderful weekend on the lake with family. The house was adorable and clean. Just be careful getting over those railroad tracks to get to the house. We bottomed out every time. Neighbors were not so friendly but all and all the serenity of the water and the views were breathtaking. Really enjoyed the fire pit at night. The house was well equipped with everything you need. So close to wineries and Watkins Glen State Park. The lake was extremely quiet for Labor Day weekend. But I loved the peacefulness, especially having the lake to ourselves.

My husband and I spent a long weekend at Waters Edge with another couple during our first visit to the finger lakes. The house description and photos represented it well and it was really clean (which is a big deal for us!). The sheer drapes made it quite bright in the morning, but otherwise it was perfectly suited for our needs. We used the boats and fire pit and spent many mornings drinking coffee on the dock, and nights at the same place but with wine! The house is a great location to get to lots of wineries/ breweries and restaurants (Ports Cafe was our favorite) and a short drive to Watkins Glen and Geneva. The owners were so helpful with advice for us finger lake newbies and always quick to respond. If this seems like the place youre looking for--it is!! :)

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Water's edge; the cottage is well organized with quaint decoration and personal touches. Some of the appliances need some upgrading, per the night rental cost/value, as the fridge in the downstairs unit broke and had to be unplugged (pretty inconvenient during a family reunion/ graduation weekend, with meals and entertaining to coordinate). The setting and outdoor spaces are perfect however: the deck, and bbq area, the fire pit, the boat dock, and amenities...just ideal for outdoor entertaining and recreation options.
