Apartment has been completely remodeled and features a large kitchen with granite countertops, custom shower, granite bathroom vanity, all brand new, full size, stainless steel appliances including a 5 burner stove, refrigerator, above the range microwave, and a washer/dryer all-in-one. There is a private entrance to the apartment with a good size mudroom. Living space is open concept with great natural light and beautiful views of Cook Inlet and Sleeping Lady. The studio is furnished with a brand new Serta Queen size bed, a love seat, and small dining table. The property was as described. The host was very prompt and friendly in answering any questions we had. There was a great view from the front windows. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and basics like tea and coffee were there for use. Host even offered us her covered parking when she was out of town. We loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at Amy's property. It was ideally located to explore both Anchorage and the surrounding area. Eagle River is a lovely little community and the view was spectacular. The unit was well-appointed with everything we needed for our 16-day stay.

This place is awesome and the owner is even more awesome. I loved this place outside of Anchorage so much I almost didn't leave a review for fear it will always be booked to be totally honest 😂. But then I wouldn't have left a review for the awesome owner of this place. My son jumped on the trampoline and played with the dog the whole time and it was great. Will be booking in the future!

We really enjoyed staying at this VRBO. Amy was very accommodating and she is a great communicator! It is very clean and had an updated kitchen. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay here! Amy was very welcoming, and had drinks with us on her expansive deck the evening that we checked in. She has a very sweet & gentle husky named Kilo who was also very welcoming! The accommodations were just one large room, with adjacent bathroom and laundry room, but it had everything we needed! We watched movies on Netflix in the evenings; the bed was very comfortable. The location is beautiful, with woods all around and mountains in the distance. We stayed in midsummer, but no problem dealing with the light at midnight because the blackout blinds were very effective. Wifi worked well. Would definitely recommend!

Check-in was easy. The location is awesome. Eagle River is an amazing little town. The neighborhood was quiet. The studio was just the right size and was stocked with everything we needed. Amy, her daughter Raegan and dog Kilo are super friendly and I felt right at home! We’ll definitely be back next year!

We had a nice stay at Amy’s studio. We had a nice arrival with Amy there and daughter who immediately was friends with my son and they played on the trampoline while we unloaded our car. The family dog was also welcoming. The space was nicely updated with a full kitchen. The curtains were helpful in keeping the light out when sleeping. A bit of noise from upstairs but we were not bothered that much by it. It was great having a washer that also dried clothes and a large closet space to hang clothes. Lots of extra touches that we appreciated. The refrigerator and cupboards were stocked with condiments, coffee, tea, etc. The couch was a fold out bed, large one at that! Space heater was there if needed. Our only issue was the shower as it had the hot/cold mixed up so that if you wanted water pressure, you would only have cold water, so in order to have a warm shower one would have very little water pressure. Overall a really nice place to stay!

Amy’s place was the perfect location for our stay in Eagle River. Amy provided clear and easy instructions for entering the property and was in communication with us throughout our stay. She accommodated us by allowing us to check out later than expected, which we really appreciated. It’s a small apartment, but has all the comforts you need, beautiful views, and dog friendly. We will definitely stay here again!

This is a very cozy, pet friendly fully furnished and stocked 1 bdr/1 bath. The owner Amy and her dog kilo are very welcoming, accommodating and friendly, full of smiles! The view is magnificent! The location to everything is very ideal!! All and all this is a 5 star accommodation!!! She has made our move here from Texas less painful and so inviting! There should be more people like her! Love and many blessings to Amy!!!

Went to Alaska today visit daughter and grand kids location was excellent close to everything. Vrbo had trampoline and kids climbing gym outside perfect for grandkids while adults visited. Even had a bonfire which great.

This was a great place to stay. Walmart, and restaurants within a mile. A great place to start an Alaskan adventure! Bed was very comfortable, and kitchen had everything we needed! Amy was very responsive, and answered all my questions very quickly. We would stay there again next time we come to Alaska!

The place was bigger than I had expected. It was set up well and very comfortable. The biggest downside is that you can hear when people are upstairs, but it is much better than the noise of being in a hotel. It was also great that you could cool your own food.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this little studio in Eagle River during our first vacation to Alaska. Amy and Kate were awesome hosts and we had everything we needed for our week long stay. They even stocked the fridge with some local beers and provided a list of their favorite restaurants and things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Pros: The apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy. Great location. The owners were nice and helpful. Appreciated the black out curtains. Cons: The shower needs some work. Very little pressure and no where to place shower items. The washer/dryer combo are very difficult to understand how to use. Never could figure out the TV but that was okay. I didn’t come to Alaska to watch TV.

Great place to stay. Close to town, but not in crowded neighborhood. Great use of space with nice upgrades. Would certainly stay here again! My grandkids loved the playground.
