About this house rental
Located in Isle of Palms, this charming house for $1,196 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Ocean views all over house, pool, beach access in front of deck/screened porch Ocean views and beach access with the second row price! This house, called Sea View, is a charming, traditional, ocean-side, beach house . It is one of the few historical cottages left on the island. The warmth and charm are there and we have up-dated and remodeled. It has five bedrooms and three full baths . Upstairs, bedroom one has a king, bedroom two has a queen and bunk, and bedroom three has a queen and twin. The downstairs apt has a queen in one bedroom and a small bedroom has a double bed. There is a double futon in the living area as well....all of this makes sleeping arrangements more flexible. Two additional, enclosed, beach showers are downstairs as well. There is a huge deck and screened porch with OCEAN VIEWS from all over the house. We are seven minutes from Wild Dunes, and 15 minutes from Charleston. The beach access is DIRECTLY in front of the house, and you are just seconds from the water! There is a private pool in the back yard and you are within walking distance of restaurants and shops!!! 'Sea View"' is very charming and lends itself to a variety of needs with sleeping arrangements to accommodate 2 to 14 guests comfortably. The down stairs is actually an attached, REMODELED (tiled floors and granite tops) 'mother-in-law' apartment which adds to its flexibility. WiFi included as well! There is off-street parking for 4 vehicles. The home is equipped with two separate living areas, fireplace, and large sun room, as well as washer/dryer. Features include tongue-and-groove oak walls and heart of pine floors. Flat screen TV's with cable are in just about every room!...and free wi-fi! A private swimming pool adds to the perfect location. There is a gas grill available, and if you have a pet (maximum of two), it is welcome with a pet fee. The house is just a block from shops and restaurants....located at 817 Ocean Blvd., IOP..... Prices vary according to the season. We have added a private driveway and parking space so whether the surf is up or down, there are places to park! We have owed and managed this beach house for over 30 years. The property was as advertised. Very nice and a great location. Home is older and the unit on the lower level are separated from the upper level. This obviously can be both good and bad. Pool was very convenient and well maintained. would definitely go back.

This was our 4th time staying in IOP, and this house and location was the best by far! The house is so charming and comfortable. The beach access is directly across the street and it’s a quick walk to several great local restaurants. We felt right at home. Beds were very comfortable, there is a lot of space to gather & the pool was a big hit! We so appreciated being able to bring our dogs. Carly is the best! She was so welcoming and helpful. We are definitely going to come back!

Nice older beach rental, comfortable beds, lovely pool and close to the beach. Downstairs rooms require constant dehumidication, as the owners clealy explained. The were very helpful and easy to deal with.

A very nice and charming property that is well-kept with unbeatable location. Owner is very kind and lives very close by and is eager to help guests enjoy their stay.
I prefer a door code rather than having to pick up a key from the owner because I'm afraid of losing the key, but that is all I can think of to improve the experience.

What a wonderful house/location/vacation experience! We had an absolutely wonderful time. The owner (Carly) is so kind and attentive and the house was definitely spacious enough for all 12 of us. We plan to return😊

This property is even better than described. It had everything we wanted or needed. Location was amazing… so close to the beach. Accommodating to my dogs as well. Owners/hosts were so welcoming. Home was clean and had great character. We had an amazing and relaxing week. Definitely will be back!

The place was great for our group of 9, and the location was so convenient to the beach and a couple of breakfast spots. We went into Charleston several times and the wait time wasn't bad for Ubers. Hanging out by the pool and the house was nice too! Carly was super responsive with our questions, which was helpful.

We had a group of 9 girls staying at Carly's house to celebrate our 55th birthday! The house was perfect and exactly as the pictures show. We had plenty of room, enjoyed the pool and spent the majority of time on the great screened in porch. Thank you for being so accommodating Carly! You made my hosting duties easy!

Recently stayed here with 8 other people for a friends trip. The house is fantastic - plenty of room for the group, and a nice pool! The location is amazing - could not be much closer to the beach, easy walk to bars and IOP.
Carly was easy to communicate with and helped with anything that came up. Will definitely be back!

We loved the location - easy access to beach & quick walk to restaurants & ice cream! The house is very charming & accommodated our group of 6 adults & 3 children perfectly. The pool was a big hit with the kids & adults, and the enclosed outdoor showers were a big plus. Carly & Steve were very gracious in responding to any needs. We would definitely rent again!

Great stay and a perfect place for our college reunion. The owner, Carly, lives nearby and met us to give us a tour of the property and tell us about the area. She is fantastic and wants her guests to have a wonderful experience!

Perfect Getaway Just Steps From the Beach
This lovely home had the perfect layout for our family of 11. Family members had enough space for individual privacy, yet it was spacious enough for everyone to gather. The home was clean and well- stocked. The second refrigerator was appreciated. There was ample parking for all four of our large vehicles. Carly was extremely kind and readily available to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend this rental for any occasion.

We met Carly when we arrived and she is an absolute joy. The house was perfect for our group and near everything. The only time we had to drive anywhere was to go golfing. I highly recommend this rental.

Can't beat the location
This house was so convenient! Walkable to island's epicenter, and literally the best house not directly on the beach! The view is great! My young family and MIL inhabited the upper floor, and the only issue with layout was the pantry. It's hard to access and very dark. Would suggest removing door and painting interior.
Downstairs unit was occupied by inlaws with an infant, and although nice and adequate, it wasn't ideal for them & they felt like they were in a damp basement. However, I'm sure it works for others in different circumstances. The enclosed downstairs was great for our kids to play and wash off.
We experienced a brief issue with the AC, but despite owner being away, she was very responsive and her POC on the island was accommodating too. We enjoyed the pool; however, we couldn't get over the ants on his island, they are ferocious. (They were present at the pool.) House was pretty well stocked. We loved the location & the island & hope to come back.
