Situated in Kalaoa, this charming house for $707 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. vrKCV - Heavens, Professionally Managed by Kona Coast Vacations Heavens is located in the cooler elevations, you can relax on the lanai, barbeque and watch Hawaiian sunsets night after night in this dream home. Lush landscaping abounds and the large yard features a large saltwater pool & plunge pool, panoramic ocean views, water fall feature, 2 Primary Suites in the main house, a smaller bedroom with a trundle bed & a separate 2 bedroom with 2 full baths behind the main house. Two primary bedroom suites in the main house with ocean views, a large living-dining room that boasts tropical features. The oversized gourmet kitchen has everything needed if you plan on cooking for a large family. There is a formal dining room plus additional seating areas on the lanai and near the swimming pool for you to enjoy both indoor and outdoor dining. The den has a flat screen TV, Wi-Fi access, DVD player, and surround sound system. This property is close to everything including the airport, downtown Kailua Kona, shopping (Costco is down the road), several beaches, and all the Big Island activities you can imagine. Situated at a comfortable 1,000 feet elevation on the western slope of Hualalai, Kona Heavens enjoys vast views of the Pacific Ocean, harbor, airport and a glimpse of the lights of Kailua-Kona village. Fall asleep to the sound of Coqui frogs and wake up to Roosters in this quaint country setting. This is a non-smoking, no pets property. Hawaii Tax ID: 208-416-1536-01. 31-night minimum stay required. Please be aware that noise aware decibel warning devices are installed in this home. They do not record any conversation, but they do alert us if the noise levels exceed the residential limits in the area.

Our family of 10 stayed at this beautiful home for 17 days. The staff were awesome and dealt with little issues immediately. The home is large, plenty of room for 10 to hang together or spend time apart. The kitchen had all the gadgets, cookware, and dishware we could use. The pool and grounds were large and well maintained with many places to sit and catch rays or gather to eat. There were many pool toys and some beach equipment as well to enjoy our many trips to the beach (although we bought some too).
Our only complaint was that there were NO Dressers in 4 of the 5 bedrooms, so 8 of our family used little shelves in the closets, couches, or their suitcases to house their clothes during the stay. This may be fine for a few days, but was difficult for our 17 day stay. Except for one small bedroom all the other bedrooms are large with plenty of room for a dresser.
That said, we would absolutely stay again at The Heavens in Kona.

Perfect size for a family of 9. The swimming pool was awesome for our 3-year old granddaughter. The hot tub was great after doing some long grueling hikes on the island. Everyone enjoy the beautiful landscape and gorgeous sunset views. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, kitchen was clean, and the refrigerator was top of the line for keeping things cold in the humid/hot days. Our granddaughter loved the geckos. Everyone in our party agreed they would rent the house again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!!!!

3 bedroom/3 bathroom, outside pool, guesthouse with a room and it’s own bathrooms. Beautiful view from up top to see the rest of the town, it’s not as close to the ocean but you can see the ocean view. Coming up the driveway is a little steep and curvy, we brought our mom who will be 80, so with help she was able to make it up(good exercise if your up to walking up and down). There is parking space if you rent a car, turn around by the tree when you’ve almost reached the top. We are originally from a small village from Alaska so we were taken by the view and nature that surrounds us, the view from the kitchen or table next to the kitchen, kinda like our own little jungle cause where we live it’s flat with no trees or mountains. I tried to get everything, hope this helps. Thank you Kona heavens

The Heavens is truly a fantastic home for a family vacation. The 10 of us spent an outstanding 2 weeks with plenty of room to spread out to accommodate our separate interests and a generous kitchen to prepare joint meals for sunset dining every night poolside. Great place! No surprises. Just as advertised. Excellent!

The only issue we had was getting from the airport to the property. There were no taxes available and we waited for almost an hour to get a ride. The directions were useful…even the taxi driver didn’t know where it was.
But when we arrived…the place had lights left on for us and fans running. We were exhausted flying from Ontario Canada. The house did not disappoint. The two rooms at the back of the house was very quiet and private. The kitchen was well supplied.
The pool hadn’t been cleaned, so one phone call and it was looked after. The pool was on the cold side. Much colder then the last place we stayed. But we still swam.
The view was beautiful.
I would definitely recommend this property.

We came home for a family wedding and decided on the 'Heavens' property. It was very homely, clean and spacious for our family. What a spectacular location the sunsets were wonderful and picturesque that we captured many a picture with the family. The convenience of an onsite pool was refreshing in the heat of the evening and enjoyed a nice comfortable relaxing hot tub. The openness of the rooms to the pool deck was inviting and friendly. We loved our 2wks stay in paradise. Home is always where our hearts will be.

A great 2 weeks
My family & my parents enjoyed ourselves in the Heavens property. It’s a great space with lots to see on the grounds. Fruit trees, birds, chickens that roam around and amazing views. The space of the house is awesome for a family of all boys to spread out or congregate together in the kitchen/dining area and outside by the pool.
We added to the pool toy collection as well as a pack and play for infants for the house. We hope to visit again soon.

Kona "Heaven"
Management company was so great and responsive. The house had been locked up for some time and the moldy smell was very strong but after a 2-3 days it aired out and it took care of itself. We had a great time and the home was large and spacious. A fresh coat of paint and a few updates would make this a perfect stay. Views are spectacular and the sunsets are out of this world.

Happy to be here
This property is a Hawaiian golden property. She must have been a true luxury retreat in her day and is still a stunning property with views of the ocean and a neighbourhood that boasts mature landscapes. The pool and spa are magnificent and the house is very roomy. A good coat of paint and a light updating would be a welcome upgrade but the old Hawaii charm is not lost with this home. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and family !

This house was great for our 2 families, plenty of room and, as pretty frequent VRBO users, we appreciated that the kitchen was well appointed and there were beach umbrellas and chairs we could use. I gave the location 5-stars because it's exactly as advertised...so, not right on a beach or walking distance to restaurants or shops. But if you have a car, that stuff is not far, and you can head a few minutes north for sandy beaches, or a few minutes south for great snorkeling, or just 5 minutes to the bottom of the hill for green turtles in the cove or the amazing manta ray experience at the marina. We appreciated all the options the location put within 20-30 minutes of us and, after a day with lots of sunbathers, or reef fish, we had a quiet, luxurious home to come back to for family game night and horsing around in the pool. Find the local fish market and grill up something fresh and local and watch the sunset. I know I sound like a paid shill, but the good karma at this house just makes me want to pay it forward.

Great Stay
This house was the perfect size for our family of 9. The outside was beautiful and that's where we spent that majority of our time. The only down fall was that being up on the hill it started raining just about every day around noon until dinner time. Luckily there was a patio set under the porch where we could still sit outside when it was raining.

Didn’t want to leave
We had 5 kids and 6 adults. The property allowed privacy for each family and a separate place for kids. It had everything we have at home in the kitchen. The pool toys for the kids were great

Roomy House For Big Parties
This house is well laid out and roomy for a large group. The view was amazing and the higher elevation allowed for the house to cool down nicely during the evening. It is an older home, but very well appointed in a gorgeous quiet area. It could use a day of handyman services for little things like squeaking screen doors along with some lighting at the big table by the pool for evenings out by the pool. But these are small suggestions for the owner, and by no means would it deter us from staying again. A lovely home, with a lovely view. Aloha.

Heavenly breeze
My only regret is that I forgot to sign the guestbook for next time. The pictures are quite accurate with variation on twin or king options in back house. Pool was warm. Grounds beautiful and well kept. House is well stocked. People leave things for others. We did too!
Stars at night on clear night HEAVENLY! I felt it was my home and hate to leave it.

The house was even better/nicer in person than the pictures present. There were nine of us in our blend/extended family. The rooms were big enough for us to congregate together and enough space for everyone to break up into groups or have private time. Like many pools in Hawaii, it was unheated. At ten degrees colder than the ocean, it too cold for us. Guests are asked not to use the fireplace.

The property management company was very responsive and helpful with any question or issue, responding the same day for replacing a shower head and addressing a slow drain. 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms. I won't bore you with the details, the pics and the 360 tour explains it all. This house is HUGE. We had 7 adults and everyone had their own personal space. The kitchen was spacious with every appliance you need. The electric stove was the best stove I've ever used in a vacation rental. Huge Dining Room and Living Room, and a separate huge Television room. Very large outdoor pool with a very great 4 person whirlpool . Great outdoor shaded area with 4 large tables. Gas grill that was used for cooking. This home was well furnished and tastefully decorated. So much home for the $$$, and I highly recommend this beautiful home.

This house was amazing, it fit all of us comfortably. Great view, private enough for us to have music playing while we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, great walking/running paths around, the BBQ was used most every night for dinners. The trash came on Wednesday morning and the pool cleaner came as well and that was the only interaction we had while at the house. The drive to beaches and downtown wasnt far, the location was great and the temperatures were perfect day and night. We enjoyed the Fairwind snorkeling cruise, Kua Bay Beach, Makalawena Beach and ROYS for a dinner night out with everyone. We cannot wait to start planning our way back to this house next year.
