Nestled in Jackson, this lovely house for $735 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This house is in an ideal location, close to the best hiking and skiing in the White Mountains! Walking distance to the Jackson Covered Bridge, Jackson Ski Touring trails, Wentworth Golf and beautiful Jackson waterfalls, you'll be close to outdoor activities and restaurants in the village for your enjoyment all year round. We are within 10 miles of both Attitash and Wildcat ski areas. This well maintained home on the Ellis River features an outdoor fire pit area, screened-in porch, and wrap-around deck overlooking the Ellis River and the Covered Bridge. The main house has three bedrooms. A separate staircase leads to the studio apartment with a full bathroom, full kitchen, and a small balcony overlooking the Ellis River and the Covered Bridge. 2-car garage available. The main house features a clean open floor plan. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen that opens to a sun/breakfast room with a garden view on one side and on the other side a large dining area with a farmers table overlooking the deck and the Ellis River. There are 2 comfortable living rooms separated by a brick hearth. The 1st floor bedroom has a queen bed and is located off the main living room in close proximity to a bathroom with a shower. The large 2nd floor primary bedroom has a queen bed and a full size convertible sofa bed, connecting to a full bath. The room has large windows with views towards Mount Washington and the river. The 3rd bedroom on the second floor is a nice cozy room with 2 twin beds across from the full bath. The private studio apartment is accessed by a separate interior staircase. The space accommodates a queen size bed, twin sized day bed, small dining table, kitchen, full bath and balcony. This space is counted as the 4th bedroom. Together, the main house and attached apartment space offer plenty of space, privacy, and 2 full working kitchens, making it an ideal place for gatherings of friends or extended family. Our daughter was married. It was a perfect house in a perfect location. Near all winter sports and hotel/restaurants where wedding was. Owner kind and easy to get in touch with. Property clean with lots of room. What a memorable weekend. Thank you!

Property beautifully located at elevation on a river with beautiful view of covered bridge and mountains beyond. One mile from Jackson Cross Country ski trails. Sidewalk access most of the way. Well stocked kitchen with every anticipated need met. Well stocked wood pile to feed the fire. Multiple comfortable sitting areas. Child friendly accommodation. Comfortable, quiet bedrooms. Apartment over the garage worked well for a young family who needed occasional breaks. We hope to return again.

This home was absolutely PERFECT! From the communication with the host to the cleanliness of the home and the location, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. We have been going to Jackson/White Mountains for over 10 years and this home was hands down the best ever! Jim is an amazing host and his home is beautiful! We will definitely be going back!

This place was perfect for our long weekend. Wish we could have stayed longer. House was clean and well organized with everything you needed. Loved sitting on the screened in porch listening to the Ellis River. Close to everything yet far enough away for a peaceful vacation. Would definitely recommend this rental and would definitely stay here again. Home owner was pleasant and gave lots of locale recommendations for us.

This is a very special property. We have rented here both in the summer and winter and we are not sure which season we love more. The home is perched above the Ellis River and in the summer when you open the windows the sound of the river flows through the entire house. In the winter, it is a short walk to Nestle Brook Farm where you can ice skate, take sleigh rides, and drink hot coco by an open fire. It is a short ride to all of the major ski resorts and Storyland. The house is very comfortable and well maintained. I highly recommend!

This was our 4th stay at this house. It is always clean and has everything we need for an extended family stay. The house is in a wonderful location walkable to restaurants in the heart of Jackson NH. Jim is responsive to needs and the check in -check out process is very smooth. We will be back I am sure.

This is a great house. Located far enough away from the North Conway crowds to have a quiet retreat overlooking the Ellis River but close to NConway for shopping and other activities. Great hiking and trails were not too crowded. We had 3 generations of family from age 3-73 and it worked for all of us. Apt above garage was a great space! Jim was a great host and accommodated our requests. One of the best places we have rented and we highly recommend it. And Jackson is such a cute village and brings back fond memories of previous stays in the area.

Jim’s place doesn’t cease to amaze! This is the second year my family and extended family spent the weekend in Jackson, and it couldn’t be better. The location is amazing, right next to Nestlenook Farm and a short walk to the center of Jackson. The house is awesome, the separate apartment above the garage is perfect for my family with 2 young children. It’s separated from the house for ease of childrens bedtime, and the adults have their space after the kids go to bed to be as loud as they want without distracting the kids bedtime. The outdoor fire pit space is amazing, like a winter wonderland with outside lighting that made the cut for our family Christmas card this year! We can’t wait until next year to rent this house again. Jim, the owner is very responsive to any questions you might have and has everything you would need at his house to enjoy a wonderful weekend with family during the Christmas season. Thanks Jim, and we will be back!

This house is beautiful and the location cannot be any better for visiting Jackson or North Conway. The check-in process with Jim was very easy. The wonderful touches such as notes on area attractions and restaurants, how to use the various appliances and even what light switches go with which light were extremely well prepared and appreciated. We want to go back when we have more time to enjoy the house and relax!!

Our family just rented this incredible home for the second time. The property is very private and quiet, yet a short walk to town. The location is close to everything the North Conway area and White Mountains have to offer. The kitchen was fully equipped and met all our needs. Views of the Jackson covered bridge are spectacular, and you can hear the peaceful sounds of the river. Our family loved playing ping pong and darts in the basement. We have stayed at many rental properties, and the hospitality and communication from the host are the BEST.

My family enjoyed the property immensely. The space was so inviting and had all we needed. There was so many spaces for cozy conversations and quiet conversations as well as spaces enough that all of us could play games, set around the fire and dine together.

This property is nestled in Jackson NH along the Ellis River & its location is so pretty,quiet & comfortable. This private location is perfectly located to many many wonderful areas to explore within the area. Easy to travel to. The home itself is handsome, with a wonderful layout( and amenities) . My family loved it! You are all together,but at the same time can have privacy. Jim, the owner was great to work with. We all would love to return here again. A wonderful experience & stay.

The house is beautiful and well-maintained - we stayed with my wife’s family and the rooms worked well for five adults and five kids. The main living room was huge and the kids had plenty of space to play. One thing I would have loved would be air-conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms. I think most people just open the windows but we didn’t want to risk it with the kids up there. Otherwise it was perfect.

Jackson Getaway
Upon entering the the Jackson house we were immediately impressed by the cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort of this wonderful home. Our stay was made even better by the amenities provided (paper goods, tea, coffee , good knives!) and the beautiful views of the river and covered bridge it is close to town but far enough away to feel as though you are alone in the woods. We enjoyed xc skiing with friends and evenings sharing meals around the large table and settling into comfy chairs for conversation. Jim was super to work with …communicative and providing suggestions for area restaurants. Our group loved staying here and we are already making plans for next year!

Family winter vacation
We had a wonderful time during our stay on Dinsmore road in Jackson. The home was perfect for our multigenerational group. Everything was immaculate and well stocked with essentials. The two living areas were a bonus, one with a TV and one with a wood stove for for comfort and relaxed conversation.
The location is perfect, between North Conway and Attitash. A foot of snow fell during our stay and we were plowed out by 8am.
Jim the owner was wonderful to deal with and I thank him for sharing his home!

Wonderful experience
This property is just lovely and exactly as described. 6 of us fit very comfortably, the wood stove is lovely on a cold day and the house is so comfortable and well-equipped. We can’t wait to return.

Awesome Place
This house was amazing! Location is great, right next to Nestlenook Farm. Jim was easy to communicate with, and was gracious with his use of the house. The exterior was awesome with a large fire pit to enjoy and plenty of wood and kindling to use. Our kids loved the place, and having the separate space in the apartment for our family with young kids to be able to be separated from the rest of our party for bedtime/nap time was perfect. Our girls asked if we could come back here next year before we had even left the house! Thanks again Jim!
