About this house rental
The Kahana Beach House is a spacious and comfortable home located across the street from a secluded beach. Close to some of Maui's best restaurants, golf, and exciting island attractions the beach house serves as a great central hub to explore the island of Maui. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need and the outside deck is great for lounging in a hammock or grilling on the BBQ. This bright and airy 2,500 square foot home is a wonderful place to get away. The home is equipped with towels, wifi, AC, pots and pans, and other island necessities. Our spacious lanai (deck) is the perfect place to relax on the hammock or BBQ and enjoy a meal. The kitchen is large and newly updated with stainless steel appliances, coffee maker, tea kettle, and plenty of dishes and glassware. Bathrooms are newly re-modeled and filled with towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. We supply a variety of beach equipment so you can enjoy the beautiful shores of Maui in comfort. Five minute drive to Napili Bay and the Kapalua Golf and resort areas. Ten minutes to Ka'anapali Beach, 15 minutes to Lahaina. Public bus stop right out front. The Kahului Airport (OGG) is approximately an hour drive from our home. The Kapalua Airport (JNB) is a small inter-island airport close by, 3 minute drive, that operates small aircrafts. *Attached caretaker unit above garage occupied by long-term tenant, separate entrance, very private. *Bedroom 3 can be converted to a king bed if desired, please let us know ahead of time. *Mid-week cleaning required for stay of 8 nights or more. Linen change can be requested for additional fee. *Security Cameras in driveway and front entry exterior License number STWM 2017/0001

This place was perfect for our family. Every bedroom had a comfortable king bed. We went to the beach often because it was an easy walk across the street.
The house was very spacious for our family of 8 including 2 babies. We would come back again!

Our group of 8 adults had a fantastic stay at this wonderful house just a short block to a pretty and mostly private beach. We all loved staying here, and we are a picky group!
The owners, Michael and Lauren, were gracious and very responsive to our questions throughout the week. The house itself is quite roomy, easily accommodating all of us, whether we were hanging out in the house or on the back porch. The well-appointed kitchen was very large, and we could cook together without crowding each other.
The Napili area of Maui is gorgeous --- dramatic coastline, great hiking and snorkeling, lots of good restaurants, and easy proximity to Kaanapali. We hope to stay here again next time!

Our group of 6 had a wonderful time in Maui! This home is beautiful and super well stocked! There is a Whalers General store and beach bar/restaurant within walking distance. I would definitely stay at this home again!

Everything you could need in this lovely home a short walk to a beach. A great deck to enjoy the quiet and listen to birdsong. The home has large bedrooms and there is someplace for everyone. Perfect for our family! The hosts are so gracious; even a tree provided. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas stay.

Our stay at the Kahana house was fantastic! The spacious home comfortably accommodated our group of 8 adults. The pictures truly don’t do the house justice! It was clean, well-equipped with all the amenities, including everything needed for the beach, and the kitchen was impressively stocked with a variety of accessories. Its proximity to beaches and convenient accessibility to various destinations made our trips hassle-free. A big shoutout to Lauren, who was incredibly accommodating and promptly addressed all our inquiries and requests. Overall, a wonderful experience made even better by the welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this area of Maui.

Steps from the beach, this was an excellent property for our extended family. Toys for kids of all ages in a very quiet neighborhood.

Our family vacation was July 31-Aug 10, 2023, the period before and two days during the devastating wildfires which burned beautiful Lahaina. Our time spent before the fires was fun-filled and the house was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect configuration for our family of 3 adult couples and 2 kids. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked and the furnishings were beautiful. I would highly recommend renting this property!
But, the element that really stands out to our family is the attention to our family’s well being during the fires. We were in Kehei when the fire broke out and despite the lack of cell service, internet and power to the area of the property, Lauren drove to a hill top to contact us to check on us. We were never able to return to the property and Lauren and Michael have since packed our belongings for us and are storing them until will are able to sort out what to do. In addition they sent passports to us via UPS Despite a devastating personal loss for their family, we have texted back and forth over 20 times! What kind of host does all this? An extraordinarily kind, caring and committed host! We cannot thank Lauren and Michael enough. Although West Maui is currently restricting visitors, as soon as it opens up please consider supporting this family by booking this property. You won’t regret it.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Kahana Beach house, just 15 minutes north of downtown Lahaina. The house had everything our 3-generation family needed for our vacation— it was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. And the location was excellent! We could walk to the beach a block away, or easily drive 5 minutes north to Napili Bay, an idyllic Maui beach perfect for snorkeling and swimming! Our family loved sitting on the lanai at any time of day—always breezy and relaxing. Highly recommend this stay for a family vacation in paradise!

Our family (2 adults, 2 children) and parents stayed here for our week in Maui. It was a beautiful, clean, and well-equipped house. About a 5 minute walk to a beach and a 5 minute drive to a couple of great nearby snorkeling spots, it was a great location for getting to the beach. However, being north of Lahaina, it was a bit of a drive to take in the other sites on Maui (Haleakala and the Road to Hana), but overall not a big deal. We enjoyed playing games and grilling out a couple of nights on the large lanai. Overall one of the best houses we've rented!

This property worked perfectly for the 7 adults in our party - 4 bedrooms, all with king-size beds. The location was convenient to everything, and a two-minute walk to the beach was perfect!

The property was clean and spacious, just as pictured. Our AC was broken the first 3 days, which is why I'm docking a star, but the host was very nice and responsive in getting it fixed, but it was delayed since they had to order a new part.
Otherwise the stay was perfect! Lots of boogie boards, chairs and beach stuff in the back so that we didn't need to buy anything. Highly recommended for large groups!

We had a BLAST during our stay here. On day 2 of our trip we were already discussing when we could come back and book this house again. Very spacious, bedrooms are all good size. This is what my family dreamt of when we were planning our trip to Maui. HIGHLY recommend this rental… just please don’t book on the week we are trying to return ;)

7 friends and I stayed at this beautiful, clean house. It was perfect. Such a great location, clean, comfortable beds & bedding (something I’ve very picky about), plenty of towels in the beautiful bathrooms, and plenty of beach towels & chairs! We loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Great location as this home is just a short walk to the beach; across the street and through a condominium complex. The beach is awesome, great sand, lots of turtles swimming around and saw several whales breach out of the water.
The home is well appointed, lots of kitchen space, 3 big bathrooms and 4 very nice bedrooms. The outdoor eating space was so delightful!

Clean, well stocked, modern and comfortable. Lots of quality towels, games, fresh coffee beans and chocolates kindly supplied by the hosts. Nice touch. Everyone in our group had only good things to say about the house and grounds. There was a bit of noise from traffic on the road next to the house, but nothing major. The stairs to the second floor are quite creaky however, so it was hard to be quiet in the morning, particularly for those in the bedroom underneath the stairs.
Would gladly stay here again if the opportunity ever arises.

Seven adults stayed comfortably in this house. We appreciated a nice bedroom on the first floor for couple who could not use stairs. Beds and furniture were comfortable. The deck was a very nice place to relax together, also with comfortable furniture. We appreciated that the kitchen had all the equipment we needed to cook and bake. We even had a nice Christmas tree and gifts when we arrived! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay on Maui!

This property is even more beautiful in person! We spent 10 days here and never wanted to leave. This house had the space to accommodate my husband and I, our adult daughter, adult son and his fiancé, my mother and father in law. Beautiful back yard and patio where we enjoyed morning coffee, lunch, and even dinner. Nice kitchen and dining room. Very short walk to the beach making it quick and easy to return to the house if needed. Beach chairs beach towels for all. We couldn't have been happier with this property and the owners.

Awesome house, I would definitely stay there again. Had a couple of issues with the fridge and AC, but the host was super responsive and a nice guy. The house is outfitted with everything you would need to enjoy a great vacation with your family.

It was the perfect place for our family to stay. The house has an amazing porch that is perfect for spending nights playing cards and hanging out after a day filled by the ocean. Our trip was perfect in every way, and a huge part had to do with the amazing house we stayed in for 8 days.

This house was absolutely perfect for our party of 8 + 2 babies. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of everything including spices and quality pots/pans! Everything we needed for a beach day was there... sunblock, bug spray, chairs, towels, an umbrella, coolers, and even beach toys. The backyard was also a great retreat with a hammock to relax on. The hosts were also so great. The house cleaner forgot to leave out the pack n play so Lauren came to the house super quickly to get it out for me. Overall, we were extremely happy and made my mom's 70th birthday trip an unforgettable one!
